I signed a contract yesterday but knew I had 3 days to cancel, which I decided to do because I want to get additional quotes from other companies. A day later, I took the cancellation form to the PO, only to be told that the address shown on the cancellation form (and which I copied correctly onto the mailing envelope) was not a deliverable address. The corporation is complex (Bath Remodel is one branch, and there are various local entities) and therefore it has been difficult to find someone who can address the issue. I finally found someone who agreed to notify my sales rep (who has not responded to my texts) and have sent photos of the cancellation form to both that person and my sale rep. (The rep asked me to write a review while in the meeting - I did not praise their work, only his performance, which was excellent.) I am giving the company a 3 because of the bad address on the cancellation form - inexcusable. read more

Great experience with Jeff Rosenspan - we are remodeling our bathroom this summer and we are excited to get a walk in shower finally. Jeff did not even ask us to sign anything or make a decision, it was very low-pressure and fun, opposite of what I was expecting from a sales meeting. Outrageous cost, third party contracting workers. Had a bathroom remodel if that is what they call it. They brought in a soaker tub with walls replacing my old 3-wall alcove tub/shower. I bought pedestal sink, mirror, floor tiles, cove base and ceiling fan. The main worker spoke little English while the younger one did most of the talking. I had discrepancies after completion with drywall screws showing, sink mounting nuts loose, scratched/minor damage to floor tiles. The new lighted cabinet mirror could be plugged in or hardwired, they installed it with the plug coming out the bottom of the mirror and plugged into an outlet on another wall, hanging over my sink and leaving the rusted/old light unit above. I had to remove the cabinet mirror from the wall, cut the plug in cord, bought a replacement light for over the cabinet mirror and rewired them together and placed behind the wall for a cleaner look. New soaker tub makes the loudest sound when the tub drains but not when just using the shower. They tell me that is the way it is set-up. Called the company about my issues, they sent a project manager over who arrived a half an hour late. A day or two later they were sending a crew over to addresses my issues, I waited an hour after the time they were to show up before I left when they started to call me that they were there at my place. The company called me after to set-up another appointment time/day but I never responded because I wasted enough days on them with their lateness. So I will have to address these issues myself. So save your money and do not go through a company like this. I should have hired someone that has been doing work through friends/coworkers for a better/cheaper job. Had a very unpleasant experience with Bath Makeover by Capital. We had a very nice and attentive sales person come out to examine our bathroom and provide a quote. Yes the quote was very high but service/attention are at such a premium these days that we signed the contract and provided a significant deposit. Our understanding in writing was that a complete refund could be claimed within 3 days if we changed our minds. Overnight we got buyers remorse and the next morning sent an email asking for the contract to be cancelled and our deposit was refunded. Home office of this firm called to acknowledge our request and asked for a manager to come out to make sure that we did not want to cancel the contract. I get and understand...they did not want to lose the deal. That meeting occurred and that is when the fun began. I appreciate that refunds don't just magically appear on your statement but one month later (after numerous unanswered phone calls and non responded emails) I needed to call my credit card company to have them refund the deposit back to us. i would give zero stars if i could. i gave an $8k deposit 10/4/24. after multiple emails, texts, etc. i got a call back today saying they can't do the work. 3 months later, they have had my deposit and are only now telling me it's off. allegedly they fabricate each project themselves then call to set the dates for doing the work. so they fabricated my walk-in shower and walls, and have just be sitting around with it? they supposedly don't have a warehouse full of them. meanwhile i have a new toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet and flooring at home waiting to be installed and no one to do the work. so i'm out interest on the deposit funds, these new items i need to figure out if i can return, and then i have to start over and figure out who can do the project. their story about not being able to shut off the water, etc. is a load of hogwash - 8 different units in my condo have had their baths converted but none by this company. i guess i know why. i am contacting the MA attorney general's office and the better business bureau. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They take advantage of elderly people with their relentless sales tactics. My elderly parents mistakenly signed a contract via an IPAD with a sales rep at their home. They were given no copy of what they signed. The next day, we started the process to cancel, as it turns out, they signed to finance a very expensive shower remodel. As I write this today, between my mother and I, we have made 22 phone calls over the last two weeks to cancel the contract. We have sent 5 separate emails as well. Jacuzzi Bath started by telling my mother that in order to cancel, they had to come to her home and have a face-to-face meeting to sign cancellation paperwork. We declined as that is not necessary and we knew they just wanted to pressure her to continue with the contract. If something needed to be signed, we requested it be sent electronically. They agreed. But, sent nothing. Every day we call, and we are referred to someone else. People pretending to be management. Everyone seems to be a manager, Drew, Nick, Joey, Mitchell and many more. We decided to bypass them and go directly to the Finance company. Well, needless to say, they are no better. Service Finance Company, LLC will be getting their own review. They have stated to cancel the loan, they have to have something from the dealer - Jacuzzi Bath. I've explained that Jacuzzi Bath will not send them anything to cancel it based on the runaround we have been getting from them by completely avoiding our calls, emails, etc. I've reported this situation to the MA Attorney General Consumer Complaint division. read more

Had an expensive removal of our tub and shower. We had a shower put in. Thousands of dollars later we notice a small mistake with the finished product which is an easy fix. The fix has turned into a nightmare. Canceled appointments to come and fix it. Phone calls made to cancel the appointment and if you miss the call they fail to leave a Voice-mail so you set home after moving your appointments around and no one shows. Haley who works in the Production unit needs to be removed from the customer service job and buried in some other department of the business far away from customers. They sent 2 men to do the install who spoke little to know English. If you go with this company good luck having someone correcting their workers mistake. Then the bait and switch. They advertise 12 months no payments, no interest. They gave us 10 months. Stick with Bath Fitter they are less expensive and they have better customer service. read more

We received a visit by the Jacuzzi Bath Remodel sales team in late January. We were initially impressed by their catalogue of options, (although also wary of their ardent efforts to upsell us), but we eventually signed an agreement for a (very costly) shower stall installation. It took a few weeks for the installers to schedule a date, but a time was eventually fixed and they did complete the installation in one day. Unfortunately, the installers did not install the rainshower head that we had ordered - and they also took away our recently purchased handheld shower nozzle & hose. We subsequently followed up with Jacuzzi's customer service and they agreed to rectify the two issues, but over the last +2 months we've only gotten the runaround. In short, we've since spoken to 4-5 different people at Jacuzzi, yet they simply pass the buck - and so far, they have failed to replace the basic shower head they installed with the rainshower head that we ordered, or to return/replace the handheld nozzle. Unfortunately, while they initially agreed to do the right/fair thing, as of today they are claiming that we never ordered a rainshower head - and are essentially trying to gaslight us. In the end, it appears that we've fallen for the old Bait & Switch ploy, and it doesn't look like there'll be any restitution. If anyone is considering Jacuzzi Bathroom Remodeling for a shower installation, I would suggest they complete what I failed to fully do: a thorough online review, and particularly, to read the reviews on Consumer Affairs, Yelp, etc.. Now I know why the great service to their customers. It's because so few people probably go this way. A small 3 foot by 4 foot shower quoted at $28,000? I won't even tell you where they started at before all of the great on-the-spot cost reductions. They advertise on TV on how Jacuzzi Bath Remodel is more affordable and isn't one of those slide-over one-day systems you see that look so cheap. This job was quoted at more than double the price of a nice tile shower done by a contractor. They have limited "packages" that aren't exactly what you want, either - so essentially you pay more for something that isn't exactly what you want. I'm OK with them being out-of-touch with what a shower should cost, and I'm OK with other people willing to pay for it. I'm not OK with advertising it as an "affordable alternative". And I'm not OK with the sales foolishness of reduced prices, "If I call my Manager" - yadah yadah dah. The days of just give me an honest number for an honest job are apparently over. Now everybody's a car salesman. Go conventional. You can put in exactly what you want. It will look as good or better, have options exactly as you want them, cost less, and last just as long. read more
