    Lost Dutchman!
    Kira D.

Views views views!!! If u're looking for a chic vibe restaurant bar with gorgeous views, u found it!!! Jade Bar is a gem! I've only had a couple of appetizers here, and I can't say that they were fabulous, as I ordered some pretty plain Jane stuff. The Housemade chips and onion dip, as well as the Vegetable crudite were ok. I wished the dips for both those appetizers had more flavor and kick to them, but, knowing that I ordered some pretty unflavorful dishes, I'll quit my whining. On the other hand, the cocktail was divine! The Lost Dutchman was so tasty & refreshing!! Don't be shy! U can totally eat the flowers that are elegantly decorated in ur cocktail!! Service was great! Our server came by to check on us just the right amount of times!! Price is on the high side, but u're paying for the stunning views as well as u're in paradise valley!!! Go ahead and splurge!!!

WOW! Now this place is literally and figuratively a hidden gem!! We wanted to dine at the connecting restaurant and while waiting, discovered this bar! there's a BEAUTIFUL circular view of the mountains and sunset if you time it right. The golden hour there is unreal - great for the girls who are looking for those golden hour pictures as there is a lot of area to walk around the property and get some good shots! There is also a spot to sit outside if there is no room inside, and honestly we preferred it outside because you had a great view of the sunest with a gentle breeze. The servers were quick to check on us even though we were seated outside.

Cool place with a great view. If you're in the area, stop in and grab a drink. They have a small menu as well.

Incredible views! We had a reservation at Elements and decided to grab a cocktail beforehand. When I tell you Jade Bar has some of the most exquisite views of Paradise Valley, I am not lying. The drinks were beautifully made and were delicious. I LOVED The Mekong cocktail and had a few of them! I highly recommend this bar and will definitely return for brunch!

    Anthony a perfect food server!

Amazing views and service. Cocktail perfection and excellent food choices. Great place for lunch, or happy hour! Love to bring out of town guests to this spot to feature AZ and camelback mountain!!

The Jade is the bomb for a good energy, sexy sunset eve out. Sunday was the perfect day as bottles of wine were half-off. While I feel some guilt day-drinking, it disappeared when the sun went down and the snacks (fries, and a shrimp cocktail) appeared. Our server, Samantha, was on-game, helpful, and personable. She checked in often, even when we adjourned to be near the outdoor fireplace. While Jade Bar is tops in atmosphere, food, and service, there are a couple of areas of improvement. Table/chair height at booths near window. The seating is either too low, or table too high. I feel like a child sitting at a giant table. I could slide the food from the table top directly into my mouth. Cut the table post, or hand out adult booster seats. Haha. Bar seating is always best in my opinion. Fireplace seating could be optimized (increased revenue). The current four seat semicircle facing the fireplace could be elongated outward with coffee table, to double capacity. Missed revenue opportunity when couple was seated and empty seats occupied w handbag, and dog.

Let's talk about views and cocktails! The Jade bar is always a solid choice at the sanctuary resort. It's a really cool bar with views of paradise valley. Very romantic and great spot for a date night or time to catch up with a friend. The service and staff are fantastic!

I love this place! My husband and I had our after party from our wedding here 8 years ago and it was fabulous! We also stayed at the resort a couple of nights before heading out to our honeymoon! We decided to come back and celebrate where it all started! We both had cheeseburgers and they didn't disappoint! I had the Lost Dutchman for a cocktail and it was delicious! I didn't care for the fries--over cooked--but the views made up for it!!

What a beautiful place to celebrate New Year's Eve or any other time of the year! We celebrated Nee Years Eve, we had excellent service. Bottle service and the staff treated us very well. All the people around us had great vibes at the Jade bar

Took my mother and sister here for drinks the night they got in. We made it for sunset and found the table right next to the fire. We started off with drinks. The Lost Dutchman tasted even better than it looked, and it was a good looking drink. The French Spy was not as sweet, but also very good. I went with Weller bourbon (a bit pricey but so worth it!). We got a second round of drinks and decided to order some snacks. We ordered the truffle Parmesan fries and the vegetable crudite. The fries were delicious and not too much truffle. The hummus was a generous portion and had a variety of fresh veggies for dipping. Overall love this place and will be going back, bringing all of our visitors here for a drink and amazing views.

Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon for a cocktail and dessert to enjoy the beautiful view of the property. It was busy in the bar lounge, however we got lucky and snagged the last couch space for the two of us. It took a ridiculously long time for our server to take our orders, I had to ask the busser to grab our server for us twice. After we received our drink and dessert, i had to ask the busser again to grab our server so we could pay and leave. The server seem to be attentive with the other guest around us, but rarely check in on us.

Tried this place for a sunset happy hour. Restaurant has a great view perched on top of an overlook. Can't really see the sun at as the sun set was left of the view when we were there but we did outside and watch from a different angle. Wry nice upscale place with great service. Happy hour prices were just a few dollars off so nothings special like 2 for ones but the food quality was good. I recommend the vegetable hummus platter Drinks were god as well. Very beautiful setting worth a try. I recommend parking in the self park and walking up as it's nice to see the place.

We sat outside in the evening shade for a nice gathering. We shared the Cuban Caesar salad with romaine, manchego cheese, sliced pears, toasted pepitas, masa croutons, avocado, fried plantain chips and Aji amarillo Caesar. The salad was crisp, well dressed and delicious with the fried / curled plantain chips. The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless. Overall, the ambience and service was good, however, the food lacks any hint of Cuban flare except for the fried plantains. When I think of Cuban food, I salivate for the unique taste profiles with a hint of sweetness from the fruits. At The canal Club, I found it non-existing. The name, setting, and environment is good but the kitchen needs to let in on the theme being Cuban.

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

The restaurant is trendy, stylish, and undeniably cute. I especially got a kick out of the little lamps on the tables that turn red when you want a tableside martini. We aren't drinkers, but I thought it was a fun and clever touch. One thing that surprised me right away was that bread wasn't included. Instead, we were served some crunchy snacks to munch on. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I'd much rather have warm bread. It feels simpler, tastier, and more welcoming. For appetizers, we ordered the burrata and calamari. Both were tasty, but the peppers in the calamari packed a serious punch. I wish there had been a little warning about the spice level because it definitely caught me off guard. Then again, I suppose anything called "Sexy Roman" has to bring a little heat. For dinner, we shared the chicken parm and the lobster pasta. The chicken parm was decent, though I found the chicken a bit tough. The lobster pasta was flavorful and well prepared, but once again, quite spicy. At least that time we knew what we were getting into. Service was fine, but not exceptional. I was inhaling water to cool down from all the spice and had to ask for refills multiple times, which felt like an easy thing to stay ahead of. In the end, there wasn't anything terrible about the experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the concept is unique. But between the high prices, smaller portions, and service that didn't quite match the upscale vibe, I don't think we'll be rushing back.
