I'm new in town and trying to find a decent place to get an American gel fill. They don't do gel here so he filled with solar nails?!? He drilled so far several times I felt burning through my nail bed. He also put the American (white) color half way down my nail and made it so thick that it flairs out from the rest of my nail. My husband surprised me with a gift certificate from this salon for our anniversary. In the midst of celebrations and summer activities, I misplaced the certificate. I called the salon and they told me to bring in the receipt and credit card used to buy the certificate. When I arrived with both, I was then told that I could be lying and come back to try to use the certificate another time or someone could find the certificate and come in and use it. They refused any part of the cost of the certificate. Beware!! read more

On Monday 19 August, I went to Jades Nails, the place that has been doing my nails for several years. I checked in and took a seat, it seemed that everyone was busy. By some employees seem d to be hanging around in the back. It was as 6 pm. After 18 minutes one of them came up and asked what I was going to get done. I told her a new full set. She asked one of the technicians something and came back to say they were very busy and could not accommodate me. I waited almost 20 minutes to be told we are very busy, "with back to school". Totally unacceptable- this showed very poor customer service. I have taken several of my relatives to get pedicures and nails in the last month, but with the treatment I received, I will NOT be going back. I also noticed that the almost $500 I spent were not considered for the points they award. Seems to be a business that is not very honest. What did they do with my points? read more

I was in San Antonio visiting family and asked my sister where to go for a mani/pedi. She recommended Jades Nails. I get my nails done on a regular basis and have come to expect a certain level of service from a nail salon. Jades was very clean and they were incredibly friendly which is the only reason I'm going to give them two stars. I received the absolutely worse mani/pedi I've had in a very long time. My pedi was horrible from the massage to the paint job. My mani was equally bad...I had loose skin and jagged nails when I left. I try to give everyone a second chance in the service industry but I can't honestly say I'd try Jades again. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The staff "forgot to charge me" and I paid what they did charge me. The owner called me 4xs back to back at 8pm. I sent them to vm the first 3xs bc I didn't know who they were and they never left a vm but kept calling. When I answered she didn't explain what happened but instead said she was going to charge my card bc I didn't pay. I said I did pay and she kept saying that I was broke and didn't want to pay and they were going to loose out on money. I was upset because the way the owner was talking to me and accusing me of being broke. I then figured out on my own her staff under charged me. I would have simply paid the difference if she would have explained and set the tone of the conversation differently instead of accusing me of not paying. When the phone call ended she ended up texting me trying to play victim and even reached out to my sister to continue to play victim. She sent me my itemized receipt and guess what, my total I actually signed was the total on the itemized receipt. They also charged me for 2 sets of tips when I got only one set of tips. The owner never once apologized for her staffs error or the way she talked to me on the phone. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. I will NEVER GO BACK. read more

I've been there 4 times. Mia has done my nails all 4 times. The first two times were ok. But the 3rd time I had them done she burnt my nail. Then yelled at me for pulling my hand back. This 4th time she charged me $50 for a take off and an overlay! And All I wanted was a fill in, I also made that very clear. She done what she wanted to. And they look like shit! Will not be returning here. My pedicure overall was okay but the color is not what I asked for. I thought it was black but turns out it is navy blue. The nail polish itself looks awful. But the worst was my "manicure." The lady started it while I was still getting my pedicure done. I opted to do the dip powder color for my nails. However, my cuticles were cut up so bad I bled. Then I was instructed to wait to wash my hands until my pedicure was finished. I had black finger tips that were stained. When I asked if they could wipe it off I was instructed to wash my hands with soap, which I had already done. A young lady helped me get the stain off while the one that did my nails sat and watched videos on her phone. One nice nail tech is not enough for me to come back. It was rushed and very painful for me. I did voice that she cut me and was not offered any discount, only told that it would heal in a few days. read more

I was very disappointed today. My daughter and I went to have manicures and pedicures....along with a brow wax for me. We started fine with our feet in the spas getting ready for our pedicures. As my feet were being worked on I noticed that she did not use the normal tool on my feet to remove the dry skin (cheese grater). This is my favorite because it gets so much of the dry skin off. I asked her about it and she said my feet did not need it...that I could just add lotion to the cracks and it would be fine. I said okay thinking...okay, it has been humid and maybe I really didn't need it. Then I noticed that the man that was working on my daughters feet was just about done and starting on her manicure. He went from her feet and immediately started painting her fingernails. I asked my lady why he didn't file them or use the cuticle tool. The lady working on me then spoke to the man in a different language and he then RIGHT AWAY started taking off the polish he had just put on her fingernails and filing those nails. He did not do anything with the cuticles though......and did not remove the polish from the other hand but did use the file over a couple of the tops of the painted nails. As if this wasn't bad enough....I asked the girl if that was how the "kid" manicure worked...and she said that with kids there isn't "enough nail to file." She then went on to say that if you file and do the cuticles that it makes it harder for when they get older. I had no idea what she was talking about and it seemed apparent that she was trying to cover for her fellow worker. It made me feel uncomfortable so I did not say anything else. As I looked at my daughter's nails when they were done....they looked okay, but I noticed on one of her nails the cuticle was about 1/4 up her fingernail....very obvious that they had not been worked on. I let it go b/c of what she told me about kids being too young and not doing that service. So at the end of my nail service I got my brow wax. It took all of 2 minutes...literally 2 minutes and they looked waxed and better than they did. However, I have been here before when the person shapes them, plucks some hairs, and even brings out tiny scissors to make sure they are lined up and looking good. This did not happen. I felt like the workers were just waiting for 7pm so they could get off work. It was about 6:40 when were were completely done and we were some of their last customers there. I also noticed that the same man that did my daughters nails had a cigarette in between his index and middle finger walking around in the salon. I don't care that he smokes but this looked very unprofessional and made me even more irritated. When I came home and expressed my frustration to my husband, he called up to the salon and the person he spoke to was very apologetic. I spoke with her too and went over everything I experienced. The owner ended up calling my husband and was very professional and apologetic. She told us to go back for a redo at no cost which seemed fair enough, but honestly...this has become awkward and I will not ever go back. Despite my long review, I am not a complainer but I felt very taken advantage of.....I hope her workers take this complaint seriously. I spent $87 at the salon today and feel cheated. I have been to this salon several times before with great service, but there are too many salons near where I live to have to go through this again. read more

Returned again today for mommy/daughter pedicures and redid my nails. Still extremely satisfied with the services they provide. They are also very welcoming and remembered us from a few weeks again. I'm very impressed that they can give me exactly what I ask for just by showing them a picture I like! Oh and that discount card they stamp for every visit definitely is a plus.... My review is mixed. I came here to get a BASIC shellac pedicure and a BASIC shellac manicure. As far as the service, it was mixed as well. The tech that did my pedicure was great! Very attentive, gentle and nice. I was able to really relax and enjoy my pedicure. The tech that did my pedicure was just OK. At times I felt like she was rushing. Although she wasn't rude, she wasn't super friendly. My problem came when it was time to pay. First, let me say that I completely understand that there is a price difference in the shellac pedicure/manicure. I have had them done at other salons so, again, I am fully aware. When my total was given to me the total was $83!!! $83 for a basic shellac pedicure and manicure. When I questioned the amount, I was told there was a $20 up-charge for the shellac pedicure! $20!!! I was blown away that this wasn't disclosed when I opted for the shellac pedicure. The price listed for the most basic pedicure is $28. So I paid $48 for a pedicure. A pedicure without all the bells and whistles! When I expressed my shock, I was treated like it wasn't a big deal, like it was my fault for not knowing there was such a big price difference. I do fault myself somewhat for not inquiring, and only assuming there would be a small difference. For this reason alone, I will not return to this salon, which is a shame because, as I stated before, I really enjoyed the pedicure service given. read more

Terrible!! My daughter and I went to get her eyebrows waxed and the lady completely messed them up. On her left eyebrow she waxed off most of her hair on the end and they weren't even close to looking the same. Will never come here again. read more

I went in today for a mani pedi and eyebrow arch. The lady didn't clean my eyebrows up she left hair that wasn't waxed. The older guy did my pedi just fine but that manicure was elementary at best. He didn't clean my nails, did a paraffin wax then didn't complete the service. I thought he's not finished and he said finished and left without a buff or clear coat. I've never have this happen to me. I am applauded at the service and my money was wasted. I will not go back. read more

The first time I ever went to Jade nails was a couple of years ago before they remodeled and my experience was horrible, it took forever, not enough staff, my gel manicure was the worst I had ever had. I heard they had remodeled and gave it another try and I am SO glad I did! I have not been to another nail salon that has pedicures as good as Jade's! I went here on a Sunday, because my normal place was closed...And Boy what a GIFT did I get right before Christmas. These people had knowledge of everything in the industry and more, The owner was able to fix a nail of mine that had fallen off due to an injury so it looked like a regular nail !!!! The service was so wonderful and refreshing. I was just so impressed with these people and their extra, extra clean salon. The place was impeccable. Their pedicure salon chairs are so comfortable with all the newest massage controls and a list of different types of pedicures to get...my paraffin wax ? I think they called it that, had my feet physically feeling like they did in infancy. WOW. I give this place a 10, and there is lots of room for everybody.
