The other thing that I admired is my cashier same as Connor whoever hired him you got a good one there he was pleasant he said please he said thank you and he said have a good day, but most of all he had a beautiful smile and he knew his job, thank you for all your hard work Connor I hope your boss kiss you the best race ever because you deserve it. You made me feel at home and made me feel like I was going to have a wonderful day, thank you, Noyack for all you do, and we'll see you soon. You get five stars from me and lots of love that referral Lady.

Well over that 20-year time period I can probably count on one hand how many times I walked out of there with something worthwhile. For one thing the store is always in a fair amount of disarray. The racks are overcrowded. Too many items where they just have one or two things and it's really hard to find what you want in your size. A lot of stuff on the floor and if you do find something you love you have to wonder if it was stepped on or rolled over by a cart at some point. The prices probably are more reasonable if you do find something but you really got to dig. The thing that really burns my hide is the line. It's been long often in the past but it could be worthwhile if you found something. This most recent time I went the line was ridiculous. I would guess there was 35 or 40 people in line and three cashiers. The people were lined up all the way to the dressing room. I expect this if I go in Ross or the Goodwill. Not Nordstrom rack. Never again. But I want to give credit where credit is due, the cashiers despite the crushing workload where personable and did not display any stress despite the obvious frustration of everyone staring at them doing their job. Thank you for what you're doing, and hang in there ladies!

The Bespoke Clothier completely changed how I think about fit. If you have a hard-to-fit body type,…read moreyou know how disappointing even "altered" clothes can be. I brought Gabriel a designer suit that still didn't feel right after store alterations. He was pretty honest--said the best it could become was a 7/10--and then went to work. He adjusted the shoulders, chest, sleeves, lapels, which required him to move every single button. It was literally a completely different suit. And for the first time, it actually fit the way it should. Since then, I've gone back for five custom suits, multiple shirts, and my favorite, an overcoat (which I'd avoided for years because of off-the-rack fit issues). Every item has come out perfectly tailored. If fit has always been a compromise for you, it's worth seeing what Gabriel can do. Adding some photos, but I'm not a fashion/textiles photographer. It's harder than it looks.

I've been looking for a place to get a proper suit made for a while. I consider myself a difficult…read morefit -- my chest measurement is at least 10 inches more than my waist. My posture is very upright and that just makes the chest issue even more difficult. There aren't many places in the US outside of New York that do real bespoke -- patterns cut from scratch. I'm glad I found Gabriel. He has a great understanding of classic men's style and proportions. The suit he made for me is very comfortable and continues to get better as the canvas takes the shape of my body. I keep looking for areas to make micro improvements for my next project with him. But to be honest, the fit is so good I'm not sure there's much to change other than experimenting with other styles, like a double breasted. I plan on commissioning something from him every year as long as I stay in Washington. The super tight, short jacket with the bum exposed, with skinny lapels was trending for a while on off the rack clothing. Even some made to measure places make suits like this. If you are looking for a suit to wear for the next 10 years, I encourage you to give Gabriel a try and have him make something timeless for you.

I decided to try a local business instead and found Rhonda online. We did a quick call on a Tuesday morning, Rhonda was so pleasant to seak with, so I stopped by around lunch time, was measured and left the garment, which she complimented was a nice jacket. Thursday evening of the same week received a text that my sportcoat was ready for pickup! Stopped by Friday mid day and tried on my jacket, it was a perfect fit! What an incredible value and rapid turnaround time! So happy to do business locally, I have found my new tailor for all my needs. Thank you, Rhonda for such excellent service and being such a joy to deal with.

Then she shifts the blame towards the client and poor communication. There is no poor communication when you have a photo that is self explanatory. She is an awful woman with no ears. PT 2: WARNING. Find a different seamstress. Against my better judgement and wanting to give to the community; I gave her a second chance. This time I pinned the patches on the jacket myself AND EXPLAINED TO HER IT WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY. IT WAS JUST AN APPROXIMATE. I WOULD NEED HER TO ALLIGN THE PATCHES PROPERLY AND FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE SECOND ROW. When I was called to pick up the jacket I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. And what did she do. ONCE AGAIN, SHIFT BLAME and proudly proclaimed "I sewed them exactly where you pinned them." Clearly she once again did not listen nor follow through with instructions. The patches are sewn on ALL OVER THE PLACE AND NOT ALIGNED AT ALL. Spacing between the rows AND not only that a top patch on the 2nd row now wraps over onto the front panel. WTF. Not only does her poor customer service affect my days, it now affects my sleep. It is beyond me why she called and said my jacket was done. How could she be proud? and after a prior experience with me she knew how strongly I insisted each patch needs to be aligned and taunt. Perhaps if she didn't "remember" the instructions she could have called. I was so angry I just grabbed my jacket and left. I have threatened to write bad reviews in the past over poor customer service but have never followed through. This is my first business review and I am further angry to have to take time from my day to write reviews and keep reliving the anger. I would be very sad for someone else to have to experience what I have. I spent over $600 for both jackets and each time was left infuriated. PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF.
