Utterly unacceptable to watch your employee or someone struggle with that many tasks and not do a darn thing about it. Looking so proud and like everything is just dandy as you lean against the doorframe doing absolutely nothing. They're a whole mission, starting with the coffee they serve - from an organization in Honduras that employs single moms to harvest the beans, and provides a safe home for children who are experiencing neglect and abuse. The young people with disabilities who are employed in this little coffee shop absolutely shine. They are a delight to have around. I especially loved meeting Josh today - he was so full of joy and really fun to talk to! They have a large, welcoming space with comfy seats, a play area for kids, and a small shop that celebrates and supports the disability community with really cute t-shirts. Generally speaking, places like this are often all heart and mission, often times at the expense of everything else, but Ri's somehow managed to do it all. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food and drinks are genuinely delicious. My almond croissant and tea were both amazing, and my friend really enjoyed his latte too.
