The food here is excellent, the staff here is friendly but they have zero control of the tables. We'd ordered our food and we were waiting for a table to clear when the staff seated a group ahead of us that hadn't ordered their food yet. We were clearly waiting for a table and the owner just said she was sorry and that she couldn't do anything about it. I asked for a refund and they gladly gave it to us with an apology. These rating is not a reflection of the staff but of their process making eating here nearly impossible unless you want arguments amongst customers. So sad because we enjoyed the food here before but until they get this process cleared up we wont return. We'll continue to go to Alebrijes for chilaquiles.

Very neat indeed! I am always looking for something different. This is it! I frequently scroll to the bottom of the Yelp page on to check out recently reviewed businesses. Well, this time it paid off. I found this place and it was nearby too! Despite the name, Crepes Garden has more than just crepes. They have some hearty breakfast entrees with Chilaquiles as the side. I love them! Add those to a to a great entree, like eggs, beef tips or Fajitas and you won't leave hungry! I had the fried eggs with my Chilaquiles. They were both great. My wife had the American breakfast. It was very good and the pancakes are some of the best ever! I would have preferred some crunch to the hash browns, but everything else made up for those. Maybe next time. Also, I was a little surprised to see that regular sodas and iced tea were absent from the menu, but did enjoy the iced coffee. Crepe's Garden is beautifully decorated and clean. It's easy to see that the owners take pride in this place. There was lots of help with the staff being attentive and friendly. And the complimentary sweet and crunchy Bunuelos were quite the treat! Yep, I will see them again!

I came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The crepe was the highlight, it actually had flavor and felt original, not just something added to fill the menu. Definitely something I'd order again. The chilaquiles were solid too, with a really generous portion. And the mazapán iced chai? It tasted like straight up mazapán in drink form, with actual chunks in it, loved it (I've had disappointments, as a mazapán lover, from other places where drinks have just a very subtle PB flavor) I really liked the atmosphere. The decor is super pretty and the space just has a good vibe. It was packed when I came in, but everything came out fast and the service kept up. They were also quick to clean tables as soon as people left, which made it easier for us to get seated.

My husband and I finally decided to stop by Crepe's Garden and we were so impressed! It's clean (the dining area, kitchen, AND restrooms) and well-decorated, with lots of green plants and modern-earthy furnishing. You order and pay at the counter and then seat yourself. The menu is offered in English and Spanish, and is easy to read with several different delicious looking foods and drinks to choose from. They offer self-serve water, and have extra chairs in the back for larger parties. Staff are extremely friendly and food is prepared very quickly. The food tastes just as amazing as it looks. I'll definitely be returning for future brunches, and will have to try their drive-thru. I cannot recommend any spot for brunch more than Crepe's Garden

The food was absolutely incredible. Fluffiest pancakes I ever had! We shared both and the portions are huge. We also got the cold brew and I got the mocha. So delicious. My son got the kids breakfast. We aren't normally in this area but if you are it's a MUST! Very friendly service. Even the bathrooms are nice and well kept. Highly recommend!

Crepe's Garden is a small local cafe run by very sweet people. It was a very busy morning with every table seated but they got our food out to us within 10 minutes. Chilaquiles breakfast is filling and tasty. My only issue is that the verde sauce was a little too sour for my liking. Prices are good and everything is affordable. Staff is friendly and treat people well. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back to try more menu items.

Everything was delicious amazing service. Very welcoming to everyone

The food is to die for everything is delicious. The service is so welcoming and very nice to everyone. The ambiance is amazing you feel like home because it's so welcoming. I would come here again.

The service was typical, the inside is very small not a lot of sitting area. Plenty of food options but drink options limited. I ordered the Berries Fluffy Pancakes. They were disgusting, dry and lacked taste. I paid $15 but I didn't eat it all. Maybe like 3 bites as you can see from the pictures. I do recommend this place just not the pancakes.

The Birria that I added onto the dish for $5 was not Birria it lacked any flavor and was just machaca. Definitely not worth adding onto your dish, as the portion was very small. The empanadas appetizer lacked filling and size, and was a very expensive very small bite. Definitely not worth the price for 5 tiny empanadas 2" by 1". The empanada dough was good though. The green sauce for the Chilaquiles was good and mild, the red sauce for the Chilaquiles was good and flavorful, not hot. I am very surprised and shocked by the score of this restaurant. The overall consensus with our table of everyone's dish was that the food was mediocre. I understand how difficult it is to operate a restaurant, that is why I never write bad reviews. But when the price of the plate and any additional price does not reflect the flavor, depth and value of a plate; it is very disappointing and you feel swindled. If you love good food, and I travel and have lots of different dishes throughout this country, I have a very difficult time recommending this restaurant. Very disappointing and extremely expensive mistake coming here.

We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. The café is thoughtfully divided into two distinct spaces: a family-friendly dining area and a lounge-style bar area geared more toward adults. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl. Personally, I am also a loyal Breakfast Totchos fan. As for drinks, the Copper Coin and the legendary Cowboy Latte are both worth ordering. What truly sets New Penny apart, however, is the people. The owners and staff have created a space that feels inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the community. Support local businesses. Better yet, support local businesses that are doing things the right way. Get to know the owners. Get to know the staff. Places like New Penny don't just serve food and coffee--they create gathering places. Whether you're meeting a friend, taking a business meeting, enjoying a date, or simply looking for a quiet place to sit by yourself, New Penny delivers. One of my favorite local businesses, and one that my family will continue to support.

It's cozy, inviting, and the overall vibe actually put me in the mind of First Watch. They've created a space that feels like somewhere you could sit down, relax, and enjoy a nice breakfast or brunch. I tried the PB&J Protein Shake. It was good, but would I personally order it again? Probably not. Now, the Cookie Butter Latte Frappe with extra whip? DELICIOUS. That one absolutely gets a repeat order from me. I also took a look at the menu--the sign encourages you to grab one and look it over--and I have to say, several of the food items sound really good. So next time, I do plan to sit down, order some food, and give the full dining experience a try. Now, here's where there is definitely room for improvement: customer service. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, and the interaction felt a little standoffish. Nothing terrible happened, but hospitality matters. When you have a cozy atmosphere and a promising menu, the customer service should match that same energy. A simple "Welcome in!" and a warmer interaction can make a major difference in someone's overall experience. There's a lot I like about Penny Cafe, and I definitely see the potential. I'll be back to try the food and that Cookie Butter Latte Frappe again. Hopefully, on my next visit, the customer service will be just as inviting as the atmosphere.

We looked at the website and noticed that they had some gluten-free alternatives for my hubby so that was a plus in our book. First thing we saw when we walked in was all the goodies that they have for their bloody Mary bar. They had over 30 different items that you could add to your Bloody Mary for as little as $14. This included meatballs, and bacon. Everyone that we spoke to was kind and very friendly. Son decided on the peanut butter and jelly French toast, hubby decided on the lemon ricotta and blueberry compote gluten-free pancakes, and since I knew I would be sharing the bougie biscuits. I just ordered two fried eggs. One of the things that was so great about this place -for especially gluten-free eaters - is that they were willing to adjust or accommodate almost anything on the menu in order to make it adaptable. The host, the gentleman behind the bloody Mary bar and our server were very well educated. The restaurant was super cute and had a vibe with black-and-white sayings all over the wall. The food was delicious although my husband said the pancakes were a little dense, but that's to be expected for gluten-free pancakes. Phoenix area ( Peoria) had some really good restaurants to choose from!

The host stand felt cold and unwelcoming, and the overall energy outside was a little off-putting. To be fair, the hostess was polite when she interacted with us directly, but the first impression was not warm. Once we were seated, Miguel turned the whole experience around. Since we are vegetarian, we have to ask extra questions about sauces, stocks, and hidden meat ingredients. Miguel was extremely helpful with navigating the menu and made sure the items with meat stock were removed or avoided. That kind of care matters a lot. The food was also pretty good. I had the South of the Border Omelette, and my wife had the burrito. Both were solid, and Miguel's service made us feel taken care of instead of like we were being difficult for asking questions. Coffee taste like Folgers and while each plate has a lot of ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of taste. We ordered the Lady Litchfield Omelette and breakfast burrito and while generous in portion the irony of the dishes was interesting. The omelette was chock full of veggies and minimal egg to wrap them, the burrito had a ton of egg and tortilla but minimal ingredients to taste. At the End of the Day I just don't feel like the experience warranted the $16+ price tag per meal. I'll come back in five more years and see if anything has changed.
