    Chicken Enchiladas

The best enchiladas I've had in a while. My family loves them too. Authentic, family owned, and delicious. I revisit for these constantly.

Jalisco has delicious, authentic Mexican food with Great service. plus they also have outdoor seating which is canine friendly. (Get the Sopa it is an amazing combination of different flavors and textures!) 10 of 10

This is NOT a Chili Rellano! And that is a nasty, dried out, yolk-busted, fried egg. Not sure my dog would eat that!

The waitress was told that I have a food allergy and wanted no cream on the chili rellano. She brought it out with cream. Keep in mind, there were three tables, each with two people at them. They were not busy. She brought me a chili rellano with nothing except an egg on top! I asked her what that was and she said she is from Mexico and that is how they are made. We had an exchange student from Mexico and I work there three months out of every year. I have never before been served a chili rellano with a nasty fried egg on top. What about the breading and the cheese and the sauce?! Her attitude stunk and the food was worse. I did not eat it. My friend had two tacos with overcooked, dry meat. The salsa was runny and average.

Place is in old town lewisville, literally 2 minutes from my house. Decided to try it for dinner. Not a huge place, but decent in size. We went for dinner around 5 so it was busy or anything. The outside is so pretty, if it didn't feel like hell outside it would've been perfect. Chips and salsa was good. I love that the salsa had a kick to it, but not overly spicy! Chips were chips, think and crispy. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas. Kind of tangy but overall good. Great amount of chicken inside and the sauce was good especially after adding the salsa. My friend had street tacos, she didnt go into detail but said they were yummy. Beans and rice were pretty yummy too. I don't like for my rice with to much tomato so this was perfect! The strawberry margarita was delicious. Sweet, fresh and very refreshing. Will definitely go back to try some more of the menu

Pastor and barbacoa tacos on nopal

Delicious and inexpensive spot for tacos! I tried one pastor and one barbacoa on the nopal shell. I really, really liked the taste of the nopal - never tried it before and now I want all tacos to be on nopal. I personally preferred the pastor over the barbacoa.

Great little restaurant in downtown Lewisville. Very nice people and excellent food. We had a relaxing meal on the outdoor patio. They do not serve alcohol currently. I politely admonished them for having such a nice patio and no margaritas to enhance the experience. : )

We wondered if it was open until we looked inside and saw people eating. We are very happy we went in the food was very delicious. I had fajitas and my wife had a chicken tostada. If you like really spicy salsa you have to ask for it and it is very spicy and delicious. The homemade corn tortillas are outstanding.

We were looking for a quick restaurant to stop at for dinner and came across Jalisco Restaurante. The restaurant location is in Old Town Lewisville which is very western feeling & walkable. You definitely will want to try the Pastor tacos with the Nopal (cactus) tortillas. The tacos had a lot of flavor and if you want rice and beans, there is a taco plate you can also order.

I used to love this place. Was told they sell Machaca, but it is not on menu. I ordered without asking for the price. Was charged $15 for a plate I pay $10 at other places. Advised waitress who asked owner who said she was not adjusting the price. Lost me as a customer forever.

We went on a Saturday afternoon 1pm Took 50 min to bring us chips and salsa (a table of 2) After receiving the chips they took our drinks order. We were so fed up we asked for waters. And asked if we could order our meals but the waitress said one second she would be back with our drinks. That took another 10 min. For 2 waters. Waited another 30 min for our food. We tried two make our order as easy as possible as we just wanted food at this point. 2 waters 2 pozoles.

The lady was really nice and pleasant and helped a couple gringos order dinner. :) Tried their street tacos and had a barbacoa, pastor, and carnitas. It came with rice and beans. May have been an off night. But I can't say that anything was awesome or would I would consider GOOD. It was just kinda meh. The barbacoa had a lot of grease, which I would expect to be very flavorful. It was somewhat bland. The pastor was really dry and probably my least favorite. It may have just been in the warmer all day or something. The carnitas wasn't bad. It was tender and the best flavor. Their salas were good. The green didn't have any heat to it and had a pleasant taste. The red one had a nice flavor but made me sweat a bit. The rice was light, fluffy and tasted food. The beans were beans... not a ton of flavor could've used some salt. Decent dining experience. It's in an older gas station. Not the cleanest place (not the taqueria's fault), but it wasn't nasty. Won't swear this place off, but not in a rush to go back. Service was fast and friendly. May have been an off night for them. There are worse places to eat.... We supported a small business, if nothing else. :)

I caused my _own_ disappointment by expecting the same amazing, meaty fajita nachos I used to get a few years ago, even though I've been ordering them while they've steadily declined. I kept saying I'm done. Saturday, I _really_ felt it. I'm going to have haul out the grill and make the meaty, substantial nachos I miss myself. My husband and I paid $18 for very average nachos with little bits of meat, smears of beans and some cheese on them, teeny 1.5 tablespoon scoops of guacamole, sour cream and pico, paid another $2 for about 15 chips and a little salsa on the SIDE (since it's no longer included), one drink, and a few bucks on the table for the waiter. About $25. Sadly, we're all becoming accustomed to paying more and more for less and less. No real shade on you, Martinez, I'm sure you're feeling the pinch. I sure do miss your nachos, though. You just can't go out anymore unless you're desperate.
