Mary was great, service was pretty great! I'm pretty vanilla, so the salsa was a bit "warm" or spicy for me/ but chips were good. They were busy, but it's roomy/large inside, so got a seat right away. Queso flameado was delicious, and the food was really tasty! Would recommend!!

Angelina's is a pretty typical Tex-Mex restaurant with very typical menu options. The steak fajitas, however, are the best I have ever had. Perfectly balanced seasoning and not too well done. I'm usually disappointed by fajitas so rarely order them anymore. They smell so good and then don't deliver the promised flavor. Not the case at Angelina's. The smell was irresistible and the taste delivered. I wasn't even that hungry, but boy did I eat well. The guacamole is great. Nice and fresh and not a hint of the dreaded shininess of premade, week old you get some places. The swirl margarita was great. Not too sweet by any stretch...Maybe too sour for someone looking for a sugar fix. Our table shared a pitcher and it was gigantic. Filled at least 7 beer mugs. We ordered the bunuelos. They aren't on the menu, so we had to persuade the waitress that they have them. Highly recommend everyone persuade the server that they have bunuelos because they are absolute fire. Bring a friend to share with. My husband had the steak taco salad and loved it. My dad had the fish tacos and was raving about them. My daughter ate every bite of her chile relleno. These are all auspicious signs that this restaurant is good at more than just fajitas. Service is always friendly and moderately attentive. We went on Cinco de Mayo and got our food quickly and accurately. Ambience is slightly loud and very casual. They have great deals on family to go meals, as well. I often order takeout at work just for myself and it's fast and accurate. Definitely going back soon!

Although it's not much to look at from the outside, I actually have an appreciation for their worn, weathered building. Not only does it have character, it also sends a message that there is a "come as you are" kind of atmosphere here. In an attempt to avoid the lunch rush we purposefully arrived after 2pm. After being seated and promptly receiving bowls of thick, warm chips with salsa, we requested their spiciest salsa. The regular salsa tasted alright, but it was pretty mild and very runny. I'd definitely recommend the spicier version, as it was chunkier and more flavorful. Despite the fact that the place was practically empty, it took a long time before the server made an appearance. And at this point we desperately needed cold drinks to give us some relief from the hot salsa! Eventually, we were able to order margaritas, an appetizer, and entrees. The margaritas weren't super strong, but they tasted fine. The stuffed jalapenos were ok. I got an Angelina enchilada and a chicken enchilada for my meal which I would rate as average. My husband ordered the combo fajitas that smelled wonderful right when they came out. But long after the sizzle had fizzled he was still waiting to get tortillas so he could start eating. He finally resorted to flagging down the hostess to ask for them. It should come as no surprise that he simply described his meal as "meh". My sons had similar reactions to their food as well. The fact that they serve run-of-the-mill TexMex wouldn't necessarily stop me from giving this place (or any place for that matter) another chance. Combine that with abysmal service however, and the probability is slim to none.

Angelina's was part of my Cinco de Mayo celebration with a few friends and family members. This is another one of those places I have driven past several times over the years but never tried. It seemed a fitting day to check them out on Cinco de Mayo! The ambiance of this place was kind of old school Mexican restaurant. It kind of felt like I had stepped back into the 70's (except the prices). The service was slow. In some ways many Mexican restaurants have spoiled us by getting out our food so quickly. NOT this place! The place was not that busy, so I am not quite sure what the delay was, but if you make me wait, I expect you to be serve me up some delicious food. Unfortunately that is another area this place fell a bit short for me. I ordered the pick you own trio plate. I chose a Taco (it was taco Tuesday), a Cheese Enchilada, and a bean and cheese burrito. Everything was just alright. Not a terrible experience, but I am not sure need to come back.

First time trying. Definitely would return. Couple things hot sauce slightly spicy but runny!! Would like to see thicker consistency. However, it was good. Chicken Chili Relleno slightly bland, but lots of chicken and cheese. House margaritas super strong and flavorful. Above recommendations personal things prefer. I like spicy and flavorful. Definitely will return to try other entrees. Friendly fast service

Stopped after 2 hrs of bowling next door and we were hungry! We arrived at 7:30 and were able to get a table immediately. The inside is casual and the service was excellent. I have to add the prices are excellent, I was amazed at the value vs the other offerings in the general area. In addition the portions were very large We started with the stuffed jalapeños. Stuffed with either shredded or cheese these were excellent. Hot and spicey plenty for a group of 4 to split For entree our group had entrees of quesadillas, fish tacos, stuffed pepper and pechuga empanizada. I ordered the pechuga which turned out to be like a chicken milanese with a Latin tilt to it. The portion was great but the flavor was lacking . My wife had the fish tacos and shared the same thoughts - lacking flavor .. Our friends had the stuffed pepper and the chicken quesadilla and they loved it.. SOME TIME it comes down to ordering the right thing Service was good and friendly, bottom line id try Angelina's again but order differently

    The brisket taco was AMAZING!!!!

I've had Hispanic meats that tasted straight up like a salt brick, but this was good. A good salty. The salad and rice were delicious, wow, I ate that up. Complimentary nachos came with three dips. The salsa verde was perfect for me because it wasn't spicy at all! It was delicious. I came alone, so I guess the server didn't bother me a lot out of respect. I like that. It was good for me, and I could always wave them down whenever I needed. They kind of have an "open kitchen" so you can see what they're doing. The servers and chefs have a good relationship as far as I could see. All hardworking staff doing honest work. Everything I had was delicious and service was hospitable. I would come here again. What a great night. Gracias!

The service was also great! My husband was disappointed that there were not any beers on tap (bottles only), but they had a delicious mixed drink menu. However, we were very disappointed in the atmosphere. We seated towards the back of the restaurant in direct line of sight of behind the "bar" where an employee's child was playing and a great view of ketchup bottles (who wants ketchup in a Mexican restaurant). Gabriela & Sofia's is in the $$ to $$$ price range, and at this price point ambiance should be continuous throughout the restaurant. Our unfortunate seating location sadly put a damper on the overall experience.
