This is our favorite Spanish tapas restaurant in Vegas. It's a hidden gem close to lake Las Vegas. We got back from our trip to Spain and we're craving tapas and love everything we order here. This place is great for a casual date night, the staff is very hard working and helpful! We love coming back again and again!

So good, you'll probably món. Jamón jamón is a Spanish tapas spot that relocated to middle-of-nowhere Henderson earlier this year. We're talking the entire plaza looking deserted on Sunday afternoon. I mean it's so far that even the chef had trouble getting there on time. I'll be here all week. Well, no, but I actually do wish I could be here the whole week after seeing the values on their weekday happy hour menu (M-F 3-5pm). Sadly, the best we got was a complimentary order of their bread ($8.00) for our wait. On the plus side, that was one of my favorite parts of the meal. The bread has a nice thick crust and good levels of chewiness throughout. The freshly grated garlic and the sweet tomato jam are great accompaniments too. You may be well-served to save some bread to enjoy with some of the tapas. The Mixed Olives ($10.00) are really potent on their own, but the bread and tomato jam worked well to temper them, and the Salchichon Bellota ($16.00) also worked well with bread alone or bread and garlicky oil. FYI, there is a mild acorn note on that sausage, although it's not as prominent as in a Jamón Iberico (which I skipped out on this time). These items, as well as the flavorful but slightly salty Mushrooms Al Ajillo ($15.00), would also work better if we'd ordered an alcohol pairing of some sort The best bite was actually the Cubanito ($16.00), a mini Cuban sandwich that was amazing in every way. The crispy bread, the savory roast pork, the mustard and pickles were absolutely symphonic. I shy away from superlatives like this, but it's really the best Cuban I've ever had. Coca de Higos ($16.00) is a very fun small app too. Described as a Spanish pizza, it's got Jamón Serrano, goat cheese, arugula, and fig glaze on a crispy cracker crust. The Mussels ($19.00) were interesting. They're tinier than most and don't taste especially better on their own, but the orange, vermouth, and spices are a drastically different and more subtle flavor profile than what I'm accustomed to. Dipping the bread in the sauce worked well here too. Last but not least, the Crispy Pork Belly ($21.00) showed up. It was not quite the star of the meal as I'd hoped as it was a bit tougher than other crispy pork belly preparations I've had in the past. We're talking like both my friend and I were struggling to cut through that sucker with a serrated knife. On top of that, the rice was a bit dry. The mustard sauce worked so well with the pork though, once we got it into smaller pieces. It was good overall. The music was mostly Christmas-y since that's just around the corner. Service was solid, which was expected because only one other table showed up while we were there, so hopefully word gets around and more people discover this restaurant. Jamón Jamón is truly a hidden gem and is worth a trek for something far from the usual. I'm looking forward to returning for happy hour and to try some of the bigger entrees (paellas, steaks) and desserts some time.

A hidden gem in the Henderson neighborhood! By far, the best Spanish restaurant in Las Vegas! After traveling to Spain, we're still amazed to have such an authentic Spanish spot so close to home. We've had dinner here several times, but this visit was all about happy hour--and it was fantastic. We shared tapas and Basque BBQ skewers, starting with a refreshing cantaloupe soup and the best pan con tomate. The skewers--pork collar, chicken, ribs, mushrooms, and peppers--were all cooked to perfection and super flavorful. Everything was made to share and paired wonderfully with a crisp bottle of white wine. Don't let the industrial, shopping-store exterior fool you. Inside, it's bright, warmly decorated, and filled with great Spanish music that sets the vibe. Seriously delicious food, beautifully executed. Highly recommend stopping by--especially during happy hour!

One of the best things I ever ate: Crispy Pork Belly from Jamón Jamón in Henderson, Nevada. Nom nom! Other notes: - Jamón Jamón focuses on traditional, authentic, and comfort Spaniard gastronomy. The chef is from Spain. He attended culinary school in France, and he has worked in several Michelin star restaurants in Spain. - Beets are one of my favorite vegetables, and I definitely plan to order the golden beets from here again. I like that this recipe is both sweet and savory and has textural contrast from the garnish of nuts. - I visited their old location on W Sahara with my family a couple years ago. This new location in Henderson is more spacious and more modern with an industrial chic aesthetic. - Service was satisfactory. - The restaurant is well off the beaten path in the Calico Ridge neighborhood in Henderson. It's a great option if you prefer a more laid back setting or want a memorable meal without having to wait in line for hours or book a reservation months in advance.

I have shared a review when I first came here so I hope this doesn't erase it! Food Love the datiles rellenos (bacon wrap dates with cheese), the Brussels sprouts and mussels Service I go during off hours so I get to the entire teams attention. And everyone is friendly. I miss seeing the owner's daughter with the best nails. Ambiance I am of Spanish decent so I am bias. I love my heritage and when in lived there.

So many cool books in the entry

Taste of Spain! Takes me back to our trip to Spain last year.... minus the cramped tables and tiny spaces that most great tapas places are found in Spain (at least the ones I found to be exceptional.) This place is spacious... and so should your belly be. There are so many yummy eats to try. I'm so happy that this is not far in case I need to feed my hankering for tapas and Spanish flavors. Anyways.... it was only our first visit but we left incredibly full and excited to return. They maximize dining space so the entry is pretty small. However ... you are welcomed with a huge black horse. It immediately captures your attention. (I love it!) They even have patio seating... but this summer is brutal in SoNV so sitting outside when it's still 109 degrees at 6pm is still a little painful. Thankfully they have a large, indoor, air conditioned dining area. We got here about 5:40pm on Thursday .... and only about 4 tables were sat... when we left about 7... most of the tables inside were filled. Definitely a fun place to bring family and friends who are adventurous eaters that want to try new dishes. I was impressed with how extensive their menu is.... Tapas of course. They also had a large selection of steaks, regular sized entrees, several different paellas and even flatbreads. Really something for everyone. Their wine list... Oh man... it's going to take me some time to get through it. I love trying new Spanish wines and their list is fantastic. Not the run of the mill wines here. You are not finding these at Albertsons nor Smiths. Most of the list is BTG... meaning you can try a couple different ones to pair with different dishes. They also have Sangria but I didn't try it this time.... next time. We thoroughly enjoyed the following: *House made roasted peanuts - no salt... it makes for a nice little nibble while you wait for your dishes to come out. (They come out as they are finished and really in no particular order if you order them all at once.) * Tomate con pan - piled high with sweet, flavorful tomato meat - the bread was a little too thick for my liking... I prefer the thinner, crustier bread we enjoyed while in Barcelona * Boquerones (white anchovies) - served on bread (same bread as above) I first tried these in Spain and now try them everywhere... of course, they are fishy... but not the super oily, salty, fishy kinds most people are thinking of. These are milder and make a great snack! * Jamon Serrano - you can't go wrong. It melts in your mouth. I mean... if you are not super hungry... Jamon and a Rioja and it's almost a perfect meal. *Escalibadas (fire roasted peppers, onions in a delectable sauce) *Mixta Paella - chicken, shrimp, chorizo - savory, succulent, incredibly flavorful. Looking forward to trying their other paellas. KEY NOTES: *Peanuts are on every table so if you are super sensitive or are highly allergic, be warned. While you can have them remove the peanuts from your table, it's entirely possible the tables around you will be eating peanuts. *Happy Hour 3-5 daily *Open for lunch and dinner *Closed Monday *Located in what seems to be a deserted, Mediterranean strip mall. Don't let that deter you.

This review is based on a single visit on 7/10/24. - Decor: I love it. An amazing Moooi horse lamp greets you immediately open entry. They have an open kitchen and high ceilings, which is great. - Menu: Lots of great options - including plenty of vegetarian ones. They also have some nice happy hour deals that end at 5 PM. - Food: DELICIOUS and generous - great value! My party of two had the following items and had leftovers: beet salad, croquetas pollo, pan con jamon, albondigas, and gazpacho. I enjoyed every item immensely, but ESPECIALLY the albondigas which were so tender and flavorful as well as the gazpacho, which was topped with crunchy croutons and beyond refreshing on a hot day. - Service: Friendly and on it. We were given fresh plates before we even realized we wanted/ needed it, our glasses were never left empty, and someone ran out to look for me when I absent-mindedly left without my bag. This place is truly a gem. If you have been thinking about eating here, go!!

Delicious and amazing flavors from Spain. Our first time by recommendation and it was worth it. Service was friendly and ambience is nice with some good background salsa music

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! Service was great, food was excellent, and the ambiance is clean, open, and relaxing to enjoy your food. If you have questions--ask them! They are more willing to answer. If you don't know, tapas are smaller plates to be shared (my definition). We had their sangria which paired well with our food. & I think the quality and deliciousness is worth the money. The location is interesting as if this restaurant was elsewhere, I speculate it would be much better. They are absolutely a hidden gem. 1000/10 will recommend to everyone and definitely coming back! Support local business!

We came here for lunch. Food was excellent. We ordered the artisan bread, the Apollo Al Ajillo Amish chicken and the steamed mussels. Everything was amazing and the combination of herbs and spices was unlike anything we had ever had before. Definitely one of THE best hidden gems in town. Excellent friendly service and loved the Spanish ambiance.

This is a new and also updated review of Jamon Jamon. I first visited Chef Rafa's previous location Jamon Jamon Tapas.com few years ago (Reviewed here) and announced their relocation. We visited their previous restaurant just before their move, but some fave menu items were not available because of inventory due to relocating. Although we were sad we discovered new delicious items. We waited patiently for their new location to be completed, and hoped they'd be open on our previous trip to Las Vegas, but the new restaurant was few weeks away from grand opening. But FINALLY over this past Labor Day Weekend we made it! And decided to stop by on the way home back to L.A. and so happy we did! New restaurant is looks great! Very clean establishment, comfortable, and welcoming. Although I miss the picnic baskets at the end of the tables at the previous restaurant, this has more a modern feel. We arrived at mid-lunch time on Tuesday after the holiday weekend and wasn't too busy. Was greeted immediately with warm welcome. Never had a bad service experience with this place, always was great. We had questions on menu items and changes since our last visit but the waitress was very helpful and informative of the dishes we inquired about. Order the sangria and it's just as delicious as last time. So refreshing here and personally my favorite sangria I've had. On to our orders, started with the Pan Con Jamon - classic and rich flavor with the fresh tomatoes, amazing olive oil and the Jamon great as always. Next came the star of lunch the Crispy Pork Belly - we had this on our last visit at the old location and I've dreamt of it since. Cooked to perfection crispy outer skin, tender meat, in a bed of amazing flavorful rice. 5/5 dish for me. Next came the Bread of the Day, accompanied by fresh bulb of garlic being grated on a textured ramekin before being topped by olive oil for dipping. And lastly the Gambas Al Ajillo, craving this dish already. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly sitting in a sauce mixed with cooked in olive oils mixed in with garlic and roasted chili . Used the sauce to drizzle over the pork belly rice...chefs kiss. I do think this is my number one restaurant and meal to have. I wish nothing but success for this restaurant and hope they do well here in their new location. I gave Chef a big thank you acknowledging his great meals. Thank you Chef Rafa I hope to visit soon again!

This is a TRUE hidden gem. The food is out of this world it's so good. 100% worth every penny. I tasted things that I had never tasted before and was surprised at how much I enjoyed every item. The highlight was the scallop ceviche that was paired with mango and taro chips. The Cuban sandwich was simple but so tasty with a deep smoky flavor and balance. I loved my sangria, the service and my overall experience. My only issue is that I wish the ambiance/decor matched the food/prices. I think if they made the restaurant more aesthetically pleasing/moodier it would really put them on the map. Can't wait to go back!

I had my birthday dinner here, with a larger group of 20 people. Chef Rafa was very helpful with planning the event, very communicative, and accommodated all of my requests. Every dish came out perfect, and my guests were all so impressed. The patio was beautiful and set a lovely mood. Our server Nia was the best, such a sweetheart. It was truly one of the best birthdays I've ever had. Thank you!!!

I hadn't been to this restaurant before but it is stunning and now I really want to come back for a real meal haha. They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I definitely want to come back again and get a real sit down experience. I'll be back for a date night for sure!

The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

There were 7…read moreof us and dad specifically asked to go there because of the first experience that we had. He loved the food and had a great time. This gathering was much different than the first. Since it's been two years, I don't remember a lot other than the fact that it took hours, as in more than 2 hours, for the entire dinner. The servers and busser were great, but there is only so much they can do when there is no food to serve. See the review with Sue B if you want more specifics. This last year, we decided to give it another try on Christmas. My father is now 92 and my mother is in advanced stages of ALzheimer's. We made our reservations for 7:30 and when we get there, the hostess told us that we would have to wait. She was very pleasant and apologetic. She kept us posted and when she finally sat us down 30 minutes later, she thanked us for our patience and told us that she would talk to the server about taking 20% off the bill. It went downhill from there. My mom sat down and when she went to move her chair in, it wouldn't move close enough to the table. The table was broken and the arms on the chairs were hitting it, preventing her from moving forward. The server from another table came over and opened the folded leaf part, which then wouldn't stay up straight. So they stacked menus on the arms on either side of her to keep the table straight. It was ridiculous and in hindsight, we should have just changed spots with her.    Everything took forever. We got drinks quickly and some bread, but then we waited. Finally we were able to place an order, where we were told the list of all the things that were no longer available. Fortunately, only a few of the things we wanted were on that list. I was the only one who ordered a salad, which came quickly. Then we waited again. Drinks ran out as we waited over an hour for our dinner. We sat at 8pm and received our dinner at 9:14. As we were waiting, we were able to see another table receive food they didn't order. They asked for the manager, who looked like the manager from Denny's the way she was dressed.  They received two orders of the replacement food. In the end, they had so much left over food, they left with two giant bags of food. Another table that was sat right before us, who were gamblers and had a comp for the restaurant, received their food almost immediately. They ordered, got their dinner and dessert and left before we even started. As time ticked by, I was struggling to keep my parents oblivious to the wait. Mom started to feel trapped in her chair because of the stacks of menus on either side of her. We finally got our food, which was good, but not good enough to make up for the excruciatingly painful wait.  Listen, I get it.  I know you make your money off the gamblers. You just provide this restaurant as a perk for them. Living in Boulder City, your restaurant is the closest thing to fine dining so that we don't have to drive too far. We wanted it to be great so badly. This visit was way worse than we could have even imagined.

Welcome to Desimone's! The restaurant is located in the Railroad Pass Casino in Boulder City about…read more20-25 minutes from the center of Las Vegas. It is all highway though. There is a Restaurant.com certificate you can buy for $50 and get $50 off so take advantage of that. The minimum purchase is $100. For my first drink, I'm having the Underground Manhattan made with orange-infused whiskey, sweet vermouth and orange bitters. It's not super strong but it will pass. They use a few above average-sized ice cubes, which is nice, but the single large ice cube is the better choice. It's not a huge pour either. Decent garnish. For $10, this isn't bad. This place has a 1030's feel to it including the appearance and music. The immediately serve you a glass of complementary ice water (which is filtered). They also bring out the complementary bread and whipped butter. There are actually three types of breads. For my first item, I'm having a bowl of tomato basil soup. Tomato basil soup is a flavorful and versatile dish, often made with tomatoes, fresh basil, onions, garlic, and broth. It can be prepared with fresh or canned tomatoes and can be made creamy with heavy cream or dairy-free by using milk, coconut milk, or a dairy-free alternative. The soup is typically pureed for a smooth texture and is delicious served with grilled cheese, crusty bread, or a side salad. This is yummy! It's nice and hot too. There quite a bit of basil in this too. For my salad, I'm having a Caesar Side Salad (light on cheese and dressing). This is made with tossed chopped romaine lettuce, house croutons, freshly grated Romano cheese and Caesar dressing. This was made just the o asked. Good job! The bottom of the salad is a whole romaine lettuce leaf. That's new. For my entree, I'm having the Salmon Pomodoro which is grilled salmon topped with a spinach pomodoro sauce and served with a side of sun-dried tomato polenta. Polenta is a dish made from boiled cornmeal, originating from Northern Italy. It can be served as a warm, creamy porridge, often topped with sauces or cheese, or allowed to cool and then baked, fried, or grilled. Polenta's texture varies based on the grind of the cornmeal--coarser grinds result in a firmer, more textured polenta, while finer grinds create a smoother, creamier dish. Pomodoro sauce is a simple Italian tomato sauce made primarily from tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil. The flavor comes from sautéing garlic in olive oil, adding the tomatoes, and simmering with basil. While onions are often included, they are sometimes omitted for a purer tomato taste. This salmon dish is good! The salmon has nice outer crunch and is cooked perfectly. I love the pomodoro sauce and polenta! For my sides, I'm having steamed broccoli, sautéed mushrooms (domestic and portabella mushrooms sautéed in olive oil and garlic) and meatballs (two jumbo housemate meatballs with their own marinara sauce and Romano cheese). The meatballs are good with a nice crust. Broccoli is perfect. The mushrooms have a lot of flavor. For my last drink, I'm having the 1930 French 75 made with Bombay Sapphire gin, limoncello and champagne. It's quite good and much stronger than the last drink. For dessert, I'm having the creme brûlée. Crème brûlée is a rich custard dessert with a hard, brittle layer of caramelized sugar on top. It is made from a simple base of cream, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla, which is baked and then chilled. The signature topping is created by sprinkling sugar on the chilled custard and caramelizing it with a kitchen torch or broiler just before serving. This came out quick! Nice blueberry garnish. It tastes great! What a fantastic meal here!

As a casino property, I like the M's modern look and upscale feel and its obligatory steakhouse, Anthony's, definitely fit right in. We walked up a little after its opening at 5PM to see if we could get a table since we didn't have reservations. We informed the hostess that we were planning to have a full-fledged meal and weren't there for Anthony's daily, 5-6PM, happy hour. That said, the hostess seated us in the lounge, which at first blush seemed perfectly fine. However, it was at this point things started to go off the rails. The hostess seated us with food menus, but not a cocktail or wine list, so when our server came to take our drink order, he had to get us a drink menu. Nothing on the cocktail list caught my eye so I passed on ordering a drink. The drink menu only listed cocktails, no beer or wines. We never received a wine list. As for food, we did take advantage of a couple of the happy hour BOGO apps ordering the Shrimp Cocktail ($24) and the Calamari ($18). We decided to share an order of the 18oz. Creekstone Prime Ribeye ($105) cooked medium-rare and a side of Sautéed Wild Mushrooms ($11). We received four extra-large shrimp that were presented in standard steakhouse fashion. They could've been jumbo shrimp, but regardless, the four shrimp looked overwhelmed by how it was plated. The shrimp cocktail was fine, but for the price, I didn't feel we received good value. I guess its saving grace was that the calamari was "free" as the second half of the BOGO. The calamari was nicely fried, tender without a hint of toughness, rubberiness, or greasiness. However, it ate very bland as the cornmeal batter seemed way under-seasoned. Our steak looked great. It came pre-sliced, which was a good thing because we didn't have steak knives when it arrived at the table. It's also a good thing that it was pre-sliced because I could see how unevenly it was cooked and the questionable quality of this particular steak we received. One half of the steak was practically mooing it was so rare, but the other half was dead-on medium-rare. Yes, I could've sent it back, but I didn't want to risk have the rare pieces coming out mid-rare and the mid-rare pieces coming back hammered. This wasn't my first rodeo with ribeye steaks, so I generally knew what to expect from this cut of meat. The rare side of the cut steak had more intramuscular fat than I expected based on its sourcing, price, and expectations for the kitchen's service standards. Despite it's uneven cook, the ribeye was still quite flavorful and butter knife tender...we truly were able to cut it with a butter knife. It was overpriced for what we received. I've paid the same amount or less for higher quality and better executed steaks at countless other steakhouses around town. The sautéed mushrooms were the food highlights of the night. Service from the two people who primarily touched our table was surprisingly solid especially given what appeared to the casual observer such as me that there wasn't sufficient service staff in the bar/lounge seating area that was at near capacity. Our primary server, Brian, took good care of us, but it was obvious that he had to cover too many tables as well as having to perform other, non-customer tasks, such as making a supply run to pick up more rolls of POS printer paper for the bar leaving tables unattended for a period of time and other diners looking for someone to take their order. Sorry, but in my mind, the manager on duty should've made sure the entire restaurant and staff was good to go prior to service and never should've taken a member of his service staff away from his customers for any amount of time performing tasks the manager could've handled himself. The other server, Manny, was timely and efficient in keeping our water glasses filled and promptly clearing dirty plates from our table. They were both rock stars! I'm not going to mince words. I was more than little disappointed in our overall experience. I didn't feel I received anywhere close to good value. In a town full of amazing steakhouses, average doesn't cut it in my book. I'm glad I went. I don't need to go back.

We go to the counter to be seated in the manager is there wiping off some menus and without even saying hello he just looks at me and says we're cleaning off tables and I politely said we just received the text and we are here. He then says in a very unprofessional tone and rather loudly. " we are cleaning off table tables" I don't know what his issue is, but I let that slide. We are now seated at our table. We ordered drinks and my drink is brought to me quickly, but my wife's drink is never brought. I tell the waiter and he doesn't know what happened. It takes our order and then goes to get her drink. We are sitting there while other people have been seated next to us and receive their food and started eating. Yep our food never came out of the kitchen. I asked the waiter 45 minutes later what is going on then he comes back telling us the kitchen is backed up. Total lie., how is it backed up when other people seated next to us later than us are eating before us? This is the last time we will eat here. It has gone downhill since my first review and I have just never updated my review. Note to the manager, I am from Los Angeles, I have eaten at steakhouses in New York and Dallas. If if you moved this location to any one of these three cities, it would actually be the equivalent of a Denny's.
