I believe those sessions ended, but you can still take regular courses or join a league. The facilities were great - so much space for multiple games/lessons to be occurring at the same time and spectating downstairs or upstairs at their bar! The equipment we got to use as part of the class (shoes, balance support, stones, and broom) seemed to be in great shape. And finally, all the staff were so wonderful. Great at the sport and good at instructing on steps and technique. It is such a fun sport and will give you a new appreciation for the athletes you see on screen.

We did an hour lesson and we were paired up with another couple in our group. There were other groups of people around us, but the lesson felt very personal and our teacher was awesome! They teach you the basics and then you get right into a game which was great to be able to take the techniques you've learned and put them to use. I would recommend wearing warm clothes and bringing gloves. They supply the shoes and the equipment so you just need to come ready to have a great time on the ice!

As a youth athletic organization, it is the gyms responsibility and expectation to provide an…read moreenvironment that supports and protects their athletes. Prior to the abrupt decision to fire an amazing coach mid- season, 2 weeks before state, my son would come home saying the owners are so mean to the boys. Boys would get in trouble for eating and wearing shoes in the gym while the girls would not get in trouble. The girls would steal mats without asking and run across the vault runway while they were training, to name a few. But, somehow the boys were always at fault. The coaches produced the best boys team in the state over the last couple years and they were never recognized. My son says the trophies and banners they won were put in a corner to collect dust And not showcased. Following the dismissal of the boys head coach and the loss of the other who didn't agree, the high level athletes were not given a safe transition to train there nor did they participate in finding a safe alternative elsewhere. This has forced some to quit and others scrambling to find a place to train til the end of season at the least. The owners did not want to discuss what had happened nor did they apologize for the emotional harm they have caused to my child and our family nor the 20+ others that trusted the gym to advocate for the kids. i have never interacted with the owners for our short time there. I was rarely spectating either. However when i went to pick up my son's belongings, I was being harassed for trespassing and that they were going to call the cops. All I wanted was what belonged to my son, but they threw what was in my Sons locker and all the others boys belongings in a box. It's pretty difficult to distinguish who's was what. Frustrated I left with nothing, worried I'd be accused of stealing Or worse. I would avoid this gym at all cost. It is a dangerous place for a high risk sport Without the appropriate skilled coaching required, no exceptions. There are so many other options in the area!!! Safety and Professionalism comes 1st, our kids deserve it!

All viewing areas are eye level or lower (seated). Poorly designed since they easily have space for viewing areas around most courts to avoid looking across more than 1 courts at any time.

The swim directors do an excellent job keeping classes running smoothly for both the instructors and the students, and the space feels so familiar and safe for our 4-year-old daughter that she wouldn't even need us to accompany her to class.

I usually frequent South and East Rec Centers, but decided to stop in and check out North on a…read moresunny Saturday while I was in the area. It has a nice parking area, but smaller than the other two. Still found a nice spot. Inside, the greeters were friendly and explained the layout. Again unlike the other two, North had a weight room separate from the weight machines. It was interesting to see a large area dedicated to dumbbells and barbell presses. The other, larger area had nice windows and the pulley machines. I found it a great place to workout and though it was Saturday, not too busy. They have a lot of machines. I do wish the weight room had some more ventilation. I'll be back soon and check out the pool!

It's been a long time since I visited the North Boulder Rec Center. It's fairly far from my house…read morebut they have a lot of nice programs. Decades ago my younger son took gymnastic classes there. My husband has used their pool for Scuba trip prep swims to test out their equipment. Also my kids and many of their friends had birthday party events there in the 80s. A friend of mine invited me to stop in and try out their fitness classes for seniors. The program is free to us, though most of the participants have some form of support from their medicare supplement policy (Silver Sneakers membership) and I assume that benefit supports the program financially. Nothing is ever "free" in the sense that it is just like being out in nature. There is a large building and many staff to support. All the staff we met in the process of signing up and get information on programs were very pleasant, efficient and supportive. The teacher of the class was a very positive and talented young woman who clearly understood her participants very well. The music was such fun. Some was the a similar play list to what I had in classes in the late 80s & early 90s, when I last took an indoor fitness program at other locations under the Jazzercize label. Many disco dance songs, new in that era, retro classics now. Also some pop songs of the 60s for some of us and cool down relaxing folk and ballads focus too. I was surprised yet pleased to hear Joan Baez "Diamonds and Rust" unique to a class like this I think. Parking is a bit complicated at the center, as the lot out front has very small spaces and is filled quite early in the day, but there is more room along the sides with slightly larger spaces and now that we know that, we will try there first next week.

They offer a bunch of different sports programs across the metro area, so kids can try new activities, learn skills, and build confidence. Now 2 days later the Owner calls our Gym due to this review on Google and gets our kid kicked off the team. What kind of human being gets a kid kicked off a team for their own employees actions. This is disgusting that any OWNER would do this to a child. So think twice about coming here. AGAIN This is why people don't last working at this gym.(Quit or Fired) We will be contacting USA Gymnastics about all of this.
