I love coming to this place if I'm wanting an uncomplicated dining experience. The restaurant is simple, nothing fancy by any means. The wait staff are friendly, but their attention to service is a little slow. You might have to ask for refills or napkins. But sometimes you don't want to be bothered every other minute, so this is also part of the uncomplicated experience. The food is tasty and always consistent. Our favorite go to is sharing 2 bowls of rice and getting the bbq spicy pork dish. Delicious. If you're looking for an uncomplicated yummy meal experience, give them a try!

so sad to hear that my favorite restaurant ever is closing :'( i wasn't able to dine in on their last day due to work but luckily my mom was able to get some for me! korean bbq plus you will always be #1 in my heart!! i really hope you will reopen again one day so me and my mom can continue having our lunches together

I've been here many times when I am looking for Korean food and not want to stuff myself with AYCE Korean BBQ. I really liked their banchan options here, but my last visit wasn't that great. The servers didn't really follow up with us. I really feel the service and quality has gone down. The menus make it look a little ghetto. At bare minimum, print out new menus. Shows you don't care as much if you're using white out tape to update cost. Hope things change for the better.

Always the best food and service. Bbq Plus feels like home and it's a place that I go back over and over again. A place where so many Koreans go eat has to be great. Small, quaint and always welcoming.

This place is so good! And super thankful they were accommodating and made the jab chae with no meat. The tofu bi bim bab was perfect and I love the crispy rice. The banchan was fresh and they were happy to bring more of what we happened to enjoy without any delay. Totally worth visiting if you are in the area and craving Korean bbq with great service.

Ordering from different Korean restaurants (DoorDash) to give them each a try. Korean BBQ Plus has the best assortment of banchan items. Food was packaged well and delivered on time.

Very authentic, very good Korean food! I love this place because they have some dishes that are harder to find at other Korean restaurants, for example, 오징어덮밥 (squid on rice). Side dishes are good, service is fast. I highly recommend you check this place out!

Very good! Just go try it! The food is awesome! The owner is such a lovely wonderful person!

One of my FAVORITE Korean places of all time. My family loves it too! Really friendly service, authentic food, generous portions and delicious side dishes. Very good value, especially if you order their weekday lunch specials, which I often order through Door Dash. I'm a huge fan of the kalbi, the pork belly, and the soft tofu soup! Yummmm.

Very good Dolsot Bibimbap! Excited to try KBBQ+ for the first time based on recommendation from a friend , and it did not disappoint! REALLY good Dolsot Binimbap that came out sizzling, pipping hot, and you'll get some rice crackers at the bottom of the stone bowl upon finishing the bowl. The restaurant is roomy, clean and a no-thrills design and style, with wooden booth seats or table seating. Service is fast and efficient, and they do not hesitate to bring you more banchan upon request. Prices are also reasonable at this restaurant. We will definitely be back to try their lunch special as well. Overall good value, good food and a good dining experience!

It's a very simple Korean restaurant and they have a couple of portable air conditioner inside, which is a good thing for the hot weather. Customer service is great. Today we ordered the beef ribs, seafood pancake, and cold noodles. The beef ribs is so tender and flavorful, seafood pancake is full of seafood and crispy and the cold noodles is chewy, savory and refreshing. Love it!!! :)

Tucked away in an unsuspecting strip mall in Concord, you would probably be too distracted by the taco stand in front of the laundry mat to noticed that you probably walked past the front door of Korean BBQ Plus and heading to the open door that says employees only. That is exactly what happened to me. Luckily somebody was leaving the actual front doors to the restaurant and I realized that the hours were posted on the door and the entrance was actually not where I presumed it was. Got seated right away at a booth and handed the menus. It wasn't too busy inside, but there was a good amount of families/larger parties (4+) eating there. The tables are spread out in the middle (giving pandemic dining vibes, which is great because its more room away from the next party) and then the booths along the wall. Menu is as expected with your traditional entrees and offerings, but the BEST surprised was the prices. They aren't cheap, but definitely a lot cheaper than my favorite local Korean restaurant back home. For example, LA Galbi was priced at about $30 and typically you see that for upwards for $38+ anywhere else. I went for the usual spread: Seafood Tofu Soup, Seafood Pancake, Pork Belly, and the Japchae. Everything came out absolutely delicious and great portions! They do not skimp on portions or quality - and boy was I mind blown. The seafood tofu soup was filled with quality tofu and so much seafood, like literally spoonfuls of seafood in every bite you didn't have to worry about being cheated on portions. Same with the seafood pancake and it was perfectly crispy on both sides. I only wished that they cut it into smaller pieces instead of large pizza slices to make it easier to eat. The japchae came with beef protein and noodles were not overcooked or over sauced. The pork belly was thinly sliced and came stacked with a side of sesame oil/salt dipping sauce. The banchans did not disappoint either and they were kind enough to keep refilling them. I mean all in all, it was a great experience and the quality of food was top notch! I only wished they didn't forget my Galbi, but they were quite apologetic and took it off the bill right away. I will definately come back the next time I'm in the area! Other things to note, it was clean on the inside. The bathrooms were also clean and easy to find parking in the large lot! They do take credit cards and are NOT AYCE.

There's a good variety of options--beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp--and you grill everything yourself. Some of the beef was good, and some didn't even need sauce. The banchan were minimal and mostly spicy, and overall didn't really feel like traditional Korean flavors. Drinks and desserts cost extra. We ordered around 8 different beef, chicken, and shrimp items, but the sides were hit or miss. The dwenjang soup was bland, japchae was also pretty tasteless, and the hotteok was tough. We also ordered edamame and never got it. Service was where things really fell short. It was hard to get a server's attention, and we had to keep waving. I asked for an extra bowl and it took a while. There was only one tong at first, so we had to ask for another. Same with getting a clean plate. To be fair, they did change the grill without us asking, but overall it felt like we had to keep asking for everything. We even mentioned it was our first time dining at the restaurant and asked for some guidance, but didn't really get any. The whole experience ended up feeling a bit exhausting instead of enjoyable. That said, for the price, the BBQ itself is decent and you get 2 hours to eat. I would come back mainly for the $21.95 lunch price, but not for the overall experience.

Didn't even think it had chicken inside. We ordered beef bulgogi which was very tender and filled with flavor. The fried red chicken had a lot of flavor but it felt like the ratio from meat to batter wasn't great. The rice cakes in chili was interesting... it tasted a bit like spaghettiOs... the texture of the dish was like a squishy tasting gnocchi. The japchae was filled with flavor. Was looking for a good hot pot place, and was in the Concord area…read more So I'll start with what I didn't love, but I did think it was a great gimmick for the area. The music was way too loud, almost like a night club - where you have to practically raise your voice to talk. It's great for guys, where their voice projects, but it's more difficult for anyone that has a bit higher. There are no tongs (but they will give you extra chopsticks). Also, the individual induction units are right on the table, instead of inset. This causes the potential of hot soup base spilling as a more likely experience for clumsy people. For the thing I love about this place? First... value for money. $29.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot? This is amazing in this age where an entree is like $25-30. Appetizers are ordered 2 at a time, and meats are 6 at a time. Meats only come one on a thin tray, which holds about 4-6 slices. So you'll be ordering other helpings, since there are I believe 5 beef selections, and a pork and chicken selection (7) total. The middle of the restaurant is a large bar where you get everything that isn't a meat. The selection of vegetables, and noodles are pretty vast, and almost always refilled. The seafood area has shrimp, clams, tilapia, and mussels. Sauces area also on the sides which makes it pretty much an on-going motion. It's not the high-end of hot pot by any means, but the ambience that they're projecting works for the area that it's in and how they compete with the rest of the restaurants in the area. But for the money? I'd go here. We did sit in a side-middle area where it wasn't a booth. However, they made sure to separate out the seating so that if you were a group of 3, they situated in opposite ends to create space. That attentiveness of spacing actually created a better atmosphere which was a small thing, but a smart thing. Love that they actually celebrate birthdays with banging of pots, and wishing well. It's something that is fun for groups and definitely nice if you happen to be celebrating a birthday! Definitely will come back.
