On national açaí day they had a special where you could get a bowl for $5 or a smoothie for $3 from 2-5pm. I first tried the Encinitas location but it was no longer there :( I drove over to this location in the same mall as Lowe's but at the other end. There weren't many parking places left. I arrived pretty close to 2pm so the line wasn't long yet. The man behind the counter directed me to the kiosk. I tried to open my app but the cell service is spotty in the area so I ordered directly. There was only one employee that I saw, but he seemed to be handling it well. There were a few people ahead of me, but it didn't take long for my primo bowl to come out. It was pretty to look at with the colors of the bananas, blueberries and strawberries. It was fresh and flavorful and not too sweet. I had just finished with a dental appointment so the cold bowl perfectly hit the spot. I'm sad the Encinitas location closed because it was so close, but glad to know this one isn't too far. read more

Moe immediately greeted us the second we entered the door. She had a few orders before us, so she directed us to the self kiosk which i had zero issues using, very easy interface. The smoothie I ordered is AMAZING as usual, but what made this experience memorable was Moe. What a FANTASTIC wonderful woman, genuinely. Beyond friendly, kind, and passionate about her job. The staff at this location are clueless...you ask them a question about online orders and rewards they look at you with blank stares. ONE employee making the drinks and serving as a cashier. I thought this was a rare occurrence however, I've visited this establishment 4 days in a row now and it's always the same. God bless her heart but MANAGEMENT issues lease help your staff and make your customers happy. When it's hot outside and there's a restriction on how many people are inside. It's a total turn off. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted when I walked in, the woman working there was making smoothies and clearly was intentionally avoiding eye contact with me. It's a hot day and I got to the store at 6:53 PM. Per Google, the store closes at 7:00 PM. I was told that they were not taking orders 7 minutes before closing, WTF? Basically they cleaned up early, before their closing time and they didn't want to take my order. It takes less than 7 minutes to make a smoothie so they would've still been done by their closing time. Terrible rude service! This morning, I ordered a smoothie and paid for it online, and on my phone it showed the drink was ready, so I went inside the store and saw the cashier was blending someone else's drink so I politely told her I had placed a drink order online for pick up. She looked up at me like she was going to kill me, her eyes opened wide and yelled out "Excuse me! I am with another customer and you need to wait your turn!" With a huge attitude. I couldn't believe what I just experienced! My drink was right next to her.. all she had to do was turn around and give it to me... so I had to wait for her to completely finish with this other customer. Once the customer left the store, she said, "Okay, NOW...what is it you ordered?"I again, explained I placed the order online and what the drink was, she turned to her right and then handed me the drink... why couldn't she have done that all along? Instead of the rude treatment and making me wait when the drink was right next to her the whole time? I don't think I will be going back there again. I love Jamba Juice but I can't believe how unprofessional, rude, and hostile this employee was to me when all I did was let her know I had placed an order online for pick up. Terrible customer service! Suggestion: There should be training for the employees to hand the ready made drinks to customers who have already paid online or a pickup area where people can pick up their order they already paid for and leave, instead of making them wait for other customers while their drink sits there melting. I get back to my car and see that my bank charged me $10.19. I was like huh that's weird. I go back asking for a recipe t and the cashier gave herself a $1.70 tip with me having no prior knowledge. This Jamba Juice is the Best of them all!! They're quick with orders and they're super super nice! Latoya is super nice and friendly! Great customer service. We came in and ordered their Mango-a-go-go smoothie and notice that one of the cashier charged two instead of one. Latoya helped refund the other drink quick. She tried to put it back to the card but it didn't so she quick think and refunded us cash, which was fine! The person behind us didn't have to wait long! We came back just a few minutes later because our kids changed their minds on the drink and we went back and Latoya welcomes us back and asked how she can help. We told her we ended up wanting that second drink. Since they're we're two drinks made already she went ahead and gave us the other drink on the house! A sparkly location with morning sunshine gives this Jamba Juice thumbs up. They have been revamping the offerings and serve freshly squeezed and cold pressed juices at all of the locations. I appreciate the fact that their newer juices do not use frozen fruits and veggies. My favorite is the tropical greens, a fresh squeeze of supergreens, apple, pineapple and Chia. Drinking this tasty blend makes me feel like a superhero, yet it still tastes lovely. The Carrot Cayenne has a sweet and spicy finish, just right to kick the morning up a notch. The hippie in me still thinks that I am somehow cheating when I buy fresh juice from a franchise.
