Recently, Farrah has taken over as the new GM and when I say I wish I could go to Jamba everyday, it's mostly because of Farrah's beautiful smile and spectacular customer service. Classic is the strawberry chunk bowl yet acai bowl is always a good go-to to ensure getting some good antioxidants that feel like they fill you up and you are friendly to the palate. Love supporting the healthy food places in our town and, being this is one of the oldest that started, decided to give it a try after it's been a while. The pricing is still a bit high, yet there is the free booster option (energy, multi-vitamin+Zinc and during Covid-19, it's good to get some of these every once in a while to boost our immune system). They did remove their collagen booster option, as that used to be option before. They did add in spirulina to their menu and offer delicious bowls with it as well. Today, I specifically didn't order from the app because I couldn't figure out how to add a gift card I got through the San Diego Blood Bank. She said that their scanner didn't work and she had no way to enter the gift card, and advised perhaps I should go to a different Jamba Juice. The worker was very rude to my father and I and kept her back turned to us from the moment we walked in. She got clearly annoyed and irritable when we tried to order more than two smoothies. For some reason she was operating both cashier and making the smoothies all on her own therefore a line was forming behind us because she had to do both. The one taking the order seemed bothered to take the order , the one who made our drinks mocked our order. I walked in and was immediately asked what I wanted to order from the women all the way across the room. I responded with I would like more time to look over the menu. After about 20 seconds she asked me again what I wanted to order. I guess the system here is yelling your order from across the room. Not taking my order at the register and expecting me to yell it across the room felt very unprofessional. This has happened to me on multiple occasions at this location. I worked here for like 1-2 days at this specific location and don't get me wrong it's super clean! The manager does great with making sure everything is in order. Now as I don't work there from resigning, the location still looks stable. I will comment that the manager is VERY harsh with the new hire I saw there today. Not sure how new he is but he did look like a teenager to young adult. Me and a friend went in during a rush and as any new hire would be, he appeared stressed and overwhelmed. Latoya, the manager, was providing instruction and guidance but in a very passive aggressive way. As a former manager, there were many things she could've done differently, one being to talk to her employees like they're people and not machines. Didn't bring a lunch to work and wasn't feeling like the same ole burger routine and wasn't particularly hungry so a smoothie drink sounded about right. Got the peanut butter moo'd which was tasty and refreshing and now might be a good alternate go-to for me when I want to keep lunch on the light side. Walked into this location at 3:20PM on a Saturday. Floor was totally wet, strong bleach smell. Two girls were working. Nobody greeting us or acknowledging us or the lady that walked in the same time we walked in. One of the girls that was mopping had a hoodie on with her hood on. The both seemed annoyed to get customers. They close at 4:00PM on Saturdays and it was like they were trying to do all of their cleaning before closing. I attempted to pay in cash but they asked me to pay in credit card. I told them that I would rather pay in cash but the Jamba Juice worker informed me that the cash register was closed because it was an hour before closing. However, the cash register was completely open and there was cash sitting on the cash register.I mentioned that the register door was open now and it was strange to close it out so early but I just got to look like 'who cares' and then glared at her coworker. Ever since Jamba came out with fruit bowls, I've been hooked! I'm not a particular fan of their smoothies as they there too "yogurt" consistency for my taste, but their fruit bowls are pretty good if you're on the go & don't want a huge meal for lunch. However over the years, Jamba keeps changing them! Recently I came to this location & saw they only had one price on the bowl meaning they only have one size. I normally got the large that way I could stick it in the freezer at work or home & have an afternoon snack. Unfortunately, when I received the bowl it was the small size! Not even the medium they use to have! Not only was that a super bummer, but the fact that they charged you more is beyond ridiculous. Essentially you're paying more and getting less! First I thought it was only this location, but then went to their other locations near my home & saw it's exactly the same there too. I honestly thought I was imagining things about the bowl being small & the price costing more, but thankfully I posted a picture over a year ago & saw that I wasn't crazy! I have no problem paying more to get a bigger bowl, but since it's not even an option I'll have to stop thinking about the past. Also quality of the bowls has gone down! Like it's a fruit, smoothie bowl, so where's the smoothie part?! They overload the strawberries, banana, and granola too much that you're pretty much left with only a little smoothie. Granted I like the addition of the fruit and granola, but not to the point where I'm eating a fruit granola bowl with a little bit of smoothie. This location isn't the greatest. While it's the closest location to me from work, it's not very convenient. This place is just AS bad as Trader Joe's parking except half the size! So coming here during lunch time is a nightmare! Yes you can download the app & pick up your order, but that's if they see your order & if you can manage to find a space to park in for 5 minutes to grab your order. The workers are friendly and nice, but seem to be under staffed every Monday - Friday lunch hours, so they mess up like not seeing the mobile orders. I probably wouldn't be as picky if they didn't change the bowls so drastically! If it's not cost effective to have fruit bowls, then they should just remove it on the menu. Thankfully I live in Southern CA so there are other places to get a decent fruit, smoothie bowl, but Jamba Corporate needs to rethink the fruit bowls. read more

Our friend was in town over the weekend and she's a big Jamba Juice fan. She gets a ginger and wheat grass shot daily so I had to take her here to get her fix. Even though this new location has been open for awhile, this was my first visit. Since we bought our Vitamix a few years ago, I haven't been to many juice bars since -- but I have to say, nothing much has changed with Jamba Juice. The decor and experience was exactly as I had remembered. They even had the drink we used to get; Mango-a-go-go. This was before the green juice craze. ; ) There were a few new things on the menu but for this visit, we stuck with what we knew. We ordered her shots and within minutes, her drinks were ready. My hubby ended up ordering a mango-a-go-go and a shot of wheat grass too and thoroughly enjoyed it. The employees were very cheerful and provided great customers service during our short visit. There is very little seating here. Just one large table with 4 or 5 chairs around it and a few chairs by the door but that was it. This location doesn't have all the flavors as the online jamba website. It was $6 and came in a cheap looking solo cup and the lid didn't fit properly. The cup got soggy. For $6 we should at least get the actual jamba cup. The smoothie was literally liquid juice. Will not be coming back. read more
