I then witnessed him bringing drinks and orders to the front for customers and he continuously wears a smug look on his face and is not very polite. Completely unprofessional. I think this place needs to do one of two things. Keep this guy in the back out of view and ear shot of customers. Or, the better option. Learn from his young man running the register on how to be polite, grateful for your customers and be engaging in a polite and positive manner. The staff is very kind and clearly working hard, but the system itself feels completely unorganized. It honestly feels like everyone is on their first day at the same time. Tables don't seem to be divided in a logical way. Instead of one server handling inside and another the patio, servers are running back and forth between both areas, which slows everything down. During our visit, we ordered drinks with one person, placed our food order with who I think was our actual waitress, had our food delivered by someone from the kitchen who wasn't sure which table it belonged to, got refills from someone who may have been the manager or owner, and didn't see our waitress again until we had to go ask for the check ourselves. Kitchen staff were walking out with dishes asking around to find the right table, which added to the confusion. Everyone is friendly and clearly trying their best, but the lack of organization makes the experience inefficient and a bit stressful as a customer. I would still recommend Buenos Días Cafecito if you have time and patience that day. The food really is that good, just don't come in a rush or expecting smooth service.
