I often stop by Jamba for a quick snack in between meals. Their locations are usually very convenient to freshen up the day with an iced-cold smoothie. Since some fruit flavors are powdered, you can't really go there for any healthy treats. Most flavors are good, but I am not a big fan of their new watermelon line. Service is usually mediocre but it's a get in/ out place so interactions are minimal. Sometimes they are in such a rush that the acai bowl will still have a big clump of ice still in there. I hope they can improve on their smoothie consistency. read more

Jim deserves a raise. He is hands down one of the best employees I've ever encountered at not only a Jamba Juice but in the restaurant industry. I came in this morning and it was busy and he was the only one working. He greeted me with a smile, took my order and then he immediately got to work on customers smoothies. He was fast and efficient. The smoothies were amazing and we didn't wait long at all. So so so impressed. I haven't had the same bad experiences as some of the other Yelpers are pointing out, but I've gone in the morning and during non-peak times and didn't have that many issues with ordering a smoothie. Parking is tough at times because of the other tenants at this strip-mall. I usually go with the Vitamin-C Booster, and it was made pretty well and tasted delicious and refreshing. I really don't like this Jamba, but I only go to it because the smoothies are familiar compared to the other smoothie places in the area. Visited about 3 time & every single time, I got horrible service. Every single worker seems to be tired & very unhappy. Not once did I get a thank you after picking up my smoothie 2/3 times I went, there was only 2 people before me & I waited a good 7-10 minutes for my smoothie to be made. Other locations would usually get me out the door in 3, even with a few drinks to make before mine. I try to avoid this Jamba as much as possible, just because of past experiences Staff needs to be more smiley & happy. read more

Jamba Juice is located on the corner of Kailua Road and Hahani. There is a small lot that is shared with other businesses in this strip mall. There is a larger lot available near the Macy's store. We walked in after our walk on the beach. The place is clean and smells like oranges. There was only one other person in line, so our wait to order was minimal. We ordered a waffle and a medium Pineapple Dream. The total for those 2 came out to $8.25. There is a rewards program, so make sure to punch in your phone number for credit on your order. If you have any rewards to use, it will pop up on the screen. I can appreciate that! The wait for our order was about 5 minutes. We spent our time hanging out the stools by the door. There is also a counter for people who may want to eat their food items or drink their smoothies inside. My daughter's waffle was sweet and tasty. It was crunchy just like she likes it. The Pineapple Dream was delicious and smooth. It was a perfect thing for after the beach! For the pricing, the variety of menu items (and secret menu items), I would definitely come back when I'm craving a smoothie! (1) read more

Service is good and they are quick. I go here regularly for a quick smoothie for lunch. My favorite is the Mango a go go. Their smoothies are a little pricey but since it's pretty much the only smoothie place in kailua I go here for convenience. The lobby area is a bit cramped and there is usually 1 table outside that you can sit on but it's usually taken. The starbucks next door has more seating but there are signs that say for starbucks customers only. I sit there anyway since they are owned by the same company I figured they wouldn't kick me out. I like that they take your name when you order. It helps to keep them from mixing up your drink or giving it to the wrong person. read more

This particular Jamba Juice location is HORRIBLE. The staff is different every week- which I'm sure reflects the problems and is part of the problem. They don't know the recipes for the smoothies- they over-charge me Every Time I order something then I have to wait five minutes for a manger to come out of the bowels of the building to correct the error- it's ridiculous. They never know the details of any promotion, have to ask a manager for everything- because they don't know anything- and make mistakes because they're goofing around and not paying attention to the customer just as often as they make mistkes because they are brand new and don't know how to do anything. I live just a couple minutes away from this location so keep going back because I love Jamba Juice- but it's just too bad and too much of a waste of time. I'd rather drive further to another location then put up with their nonsense and lack of common sense any more. read more

I am usually ok with the rest of the staff but there's one worker there where twice he's helped me & twice I've felt very uncomfortable being there. He doesn't seem to enjoy his job. He's throwing spoons everywhere, slamming things, got a pissed off look on his face. Super irritated! I hear you guys have great acai bowls. I saw that it had strawberries, blueberries, coconut, and honey with bananas and granola. So i ordered it and and spent $7. To my surprise when I got all the way to work and opened the lid, all there was was bananas. So I'm thinking I read something wrong. Service was average. .I am kind of disappointed with this location. .when I brought the kaukau coupon and I was asked what does it translate? I explained to the cashier that the coupon was for 20% off and I had the Matcha Green Tea mist before and in mist, you substitute the enlightened base for the frozen yogurt and not put in the frozen yogurt. I hope that there will be better communication with the girl who took my order, it seemed like she almost didn't let me use my Kaukau coupon because it was written in another language because I felt like. .ok, am I not allowed to use the Kaukau coupon or something? Goodness and the smoothie turned out to be a little runny. Maybe next time I can ask to make it a little thicker, even with the enlightened base so it will be a little neater and not spilling all over my cup. I hope that the next time I return to this location, I will be able to use my kaukau coupon without being asked what's being said in another language and make sure that I get my smoothie made the proper way when a customer asks for the enlightened base and not put frozen yogurt. read more

This Jamba in particular sucks. I'm not sure what it is because all the other shops and food joints around are great but this one just blows. The customer service is nonexistent, they removed the bar so there are just a couple random stools and the employees generally act as though you are inconveniencing them. For example, most of you know that the person taking your order asks for a name so they can call you when your order is up, so I gave them my name.. when my drink was done it was just kind of slid on the counter with an attitude, no offer of a lid and no name called. Your service was terrible today. Walked in at noon all 3 employees completely ignored us. After a few minutes of watching them converse with each other I finally said, "excuse me, our order hasn't been taken". Kayla, not making eye contact with me, said I'll be right with you. Then just stood there for a minute just to make me wait. While she took my order she NEVER made eye contact with me, even after I thanked her using her name. As other customers walked in, no one greeted them nor did they when they left the store. Customer service is everything. I will gladly wait happily as long as the employees make some contact with me letting me know that they know I am there. A simple, "Hi or Welcome we'll be right with you" goes a long way. I really enjoy going there. However, earlier this month I ordered 2 spinach egg and cheese wraps and no matter how many times I took it back to get heated, it was still frozen inside. Took it back and asked for a refund. The guy said it was done, I asked if I needed anything and guess what no refund but I got a charge for $32.03 for 2 wraps and 2 large smoothies. I went again last night but this time they were out of the wraps so he had to refund my charge of $8.36 and again I got 2 charges for $8.36. He gave me a receipt that showed 0 but that's not what my charges are showing. I asked for the managers information so I could discuss this but the guy didn't give me the information. He just said don't worry it's been refunded and it will show as a refund in 10 minutes. Nope just another charge. So beware of your charges. read more

Patient with all customers even the ones who order tons of stuff or are on the grouchy side. Online orders are great for those that long list. Phone orders are harder because it gets busy at times. WTH?! When I ask if I can customize my acai bowl to remove some items and add others and you say, yes, I expect that you mean it. When I order a fresh acai bowl, I expect that you are making it while I wait. My first clue that my assumptions were wrong was when I never heard the blenders running. My second was when I got home excitedly to eat my acai bowl only to discover that the base had been made some time before I arrived and left to sit in the freezer. I understand trying to be efficient, but when I asked for no bananas in the base and you agreed not to put any in, you were lying because it was already made with the bananas sitting in the freezer. What makes it worse was that it must have been sitting there in the freezer waiting for several days because while the toppings were fresh the base was frozen solid and had that ice crystal deal things get when they are refrozen. Argh! Totally frustrated by this lack of quality and lack of commitment to what was requested. Lame Jamba juice! read more
