Lol to me, it tastes like ice cream, but I'm sure it's different for everyone on what they think it is. Either Yogurt or Ice Cream, it doesn't matter, it tastes good and sweet and delicious especially on a HOT Day! Service here was great when my girlfriends and I went. Very welcoming to their customers which is always a good thing for a business is to greet their guests when they walk in. 5/5 for that! Ambiance was a little loud just cause there lots of people when we went, but that's fine with me just cause it's good business when there's lots of people inside chit chatting to one another. Terrible Customer Service Experience If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My family and I (a group of 5) visited this Yogurtland 30 minutes before closing. We all got our yogurt and paid by 9:39 PM (I have my receipt as proof). Since the sign clearly stated that they close at 10 PM, we figured we had 20 minutes to enjoy our dessert. The chairs were on the tables, but since we came in separate cars, we decided to sit at a table. One of the chairs next to us kept sliding off the table, so I simply picked it up and sat in it. Out of nowhere, the cashier (who said his name was Michael, though my receipt says NateB17) rudely yelled at us to put the chair back. He never said we couldn't sit--just that we had to put that specific chair back up--but his attitude was completely unprofessional. He was hostile, glaring at us the entire time, making the whole experience uncomfortable. There were no signs stating we couldn't sit, so we were confused by his aggressive behavior. My mom even asked what his problem was because the hostility was so unnecessary. When I went to ask for my receipt (which he initially failed to give me), another employee sarcastically asked if I was going to complain--almost as if they knew how rude their coworker was. I said yes, because we were being treated unfairly for no reason. At that point, we rushed to finish our yogurt, feeling pressured and unwelcome. When I went to ask for a lid to take the rest to go, one of the employees was nice, but when I mentioned that I was going to make a complaint, the rude cashier arrogantly said, "You can send your complaint," with a nasty attitude. I asked him, "What is your problem?" but he continued with his unprofessional behavior. This location seriously needs to train their staff on customer service. We were paying customers, well within business hours, and we were treated with nothing but disrespect. I will not be coming back. read more

Updated as I had posted to wrong location. We cane about a week ago about 7 pm. It was the most crowded I have ever seen a Yogurtland. This is my favorite yogurt and I was really craving it so we came in anyway. We don't like crowded places so it was out of our comfort zone and some of the unruly kids inside were pushing around and there was no personal space. We waited in line and then got to choose our flavors. They were out of plain tart. It was blinking empty. My fav. Ambers favorite coconut wasn't featured today so she missed out too. At the counter there was no hot fudge, only regular chocolate in a squeeze bottle. First I've seen that but this location just seems smaller than usual. I absolutely love yougurtland so I will keep trying as many locations as we run across in our travels. I did have an email stating I had a $5 reward but the girl at the counter rang it up as $28 and when I gave her my phone Nimber 3 times she still failed to access my reward account and I was unable to use it. read more

The employees are always upbeat and very patient because I walk around forever trying to figure out what I want to get. Once I do decide it's always so rewarding to build my own snack and cool off with tasty goodness. It's affordable and you can choose to add what you like and leave out what you don't. I love that I can control my portions and make it my way. The location is always very clean and seems to be fully stocked every time I have visited. Solid Yogurtland location. I love my plain tart, some of the seasonal flavors were pretty good too. The interior and cleanliness, along with the overall quality of the yogurt and toppings is what you would expect from most Yogurtlands. We got our froyo pretty late so I can understand the lack of enthusiasm from the solo employee at the front. He wasn't rude or anything bad, just seemed tired/ready to go home which I empathize with. Basically this ticks all the boxes you would expect from a Yogurtland and gets a solid 4 stars. Note: Yes, the prices of everything has gone up. It's like double the price compared to like 10 years ago, but that's kind of a given considering inflation and wage increases etc. Is it overpriced? Idk, depends on how you feel. For me? It's slowly getting there, but there isn't any other franchise or alternative that is this good and convenient that offers a much lower price. This feels about the average now so froyo treats are more of a once in a while thing now. I'd give it a 5 if something impressed me, but it's most locations and nothing really stands out. That's not a bad thing, it's actually good since I feel Yogurtland's general quality of everything is good. This location was very clean and the toppings were all well stocked. You have to ask for the sample cups since they don't leave them out. They were pretty frugal with the cups - giving only two per person. You also have to use plastic gloves when pulling the yogurt ice cream levers for hygiene reasons. There were around 10 flavors to choose from, which my favorites were the pistachio, honey graham cracker, and birthday cake. I also added toppings of vegan cookie dough (cool!), mochi, cereal, and marshmallow cream. Tip: If you want a chewy candy texture, put the mochi in the cup first, then fill it up with your froyo. When you finally get to the mochi, it will be cold at first, but soften after the bite. It's a great texture juxtaposition with the creamy froyo. read more

I really don't normally do this but this really irked me. I Came in with my daughter at 8:30 and they were already cleaning the machines. I understand they close at 9pm and want to hurry and go home but as someone who works in the food industry, my manager doesn't let us clean out machines till 10 minutes before closing. I asked one of the 2 workers that was standing there if we could still get yogurt from the machines, he said not from the two that were done getting cleaned and he proceeded to stand in front of the Oreo machine (which he heard my daughter say she wanted and was not getting cleaned) I had to tell him excuse me. Again, as someone who works in the food industry, I know he heard my daughter as she was excited; he was inconsiderate of his surroundings and his costumers. CLEAN! While we were sitting down enjoying our yogurt, the employees were constantly cleaning the counters, yogurt machine area and refilling the toppings. I was impressed that they always found something to do. Unfortunately, I don't know what their names were. It was a male and a female that worked on August 16th at around 7pm. Kudos to the two of you! I dislike going to yogurt locations that have empty or almost empty topping containers. At this location, they were constantly refilling the containers. It was nice having fresh cut fruits for my yogurt. I really enjoyed the freshly cut SWEET mango pieces. I did not realize that they had an awards program, until I heard the employee state that a customer had 3 ounces available. I was really happy when Yogurtland introduced regular soft-serve vanilla and chocolate ice creams, which I normally love mixing with my favorite tart frozen yogurt flavors. But, for the second time, the ice creams were unavailable. I went in today (mid-afternoon) and saw that the chocolate ice cream was being "serviced," thus unavailable. I asked if the vanilla ice cream was working, and I was told "YES." But when I went to serve myself some, it was completely watery and inedible. The last time I came in here (a couple of months ago) the same thing happened. Unacceptable!!! Hence, the 1 star. I wanted to try the nectarine peach orange tart flavor, which I enjoyed, but overall, extremely disappointed with this shop. Next time, I will have to try a different location. read more

It's been a while since I've been to this particular Yogurtland in Monterey Park, but it's probably my favorite Yogurtland location locally. In general, the place was pretty clean (a little dirty when they allowed dine-in eating) and staff was friendly. While this Yogurtland's flavor selections were small just because of how small the place is to begin with, they changed them out pretty regularly (as Yogurtlands normally do). Out of the regulars that they have, the cheesecake and plain tart frozen yogurt are two of my favorites. I also really enjoy their fruit flavors like raspberry or mango when they have it. Their toppings are great too, especially their fruits, the popping boba, mochi, and cookie dough, to name a few! However, I usually don't visit Yogurtland too much because I end feeling a little tired of sweets by the end of it, but it's a nice treat once in a while. Just as a last note, for those of you looking to get your yogurt fix during quarantine, when I passed by it recently (June 2020), they seemed to have certain new procedures encouraging social distancing while getting yogurt so it should be relatively safe. read more

Yay! A Yogurtland closer to my house in Atlantic Square. $0.35/oz! The last time I was at this location, it didn't have the Green Tea Matcha yogurt, so it would be nice if they offered this flavor. This is one of the smaller Yogurtland locations I've been to, but all I need are the dispensers and toppings. Seating isn't all that necessary. There are lots of other businesses in the same mall as Yogurtland. There is a large parking lot, but it may be slightly difficult to find parking at busy times during the day and night. This location only has a few tables inside, and a few outside. There are some tables at the Starbucks next door, as well, if they happen to be unoccupied. I would think with the Asian community they would have Green Tea flavored yogurt, but I haven't seen it the last few times I went. They do have lychee, mochi skins, and strawberry and mango popping boba, though, as well as the good old fashioned favorites. It was a habit that I formed because Yogurtland has such a wide variety of low calorie and fat free yogurt that would satisfy my sweet tooth without expanding my waistline. This particular Yogurtland has a great, friendly and attentive staff. I've never walked in without being warmly greeted. The location is located right next door to Starbucks in the Atlantic Square shopping center. PROS: Open late with plenty of parking on the side of the building next to Jamba Juice. Top notch staff. Very clean location. CONS: No public restrooms. This is a smaller Yogurtland so there is a much smaller variety of flavors but the toppings are plentiful. Enjoy! read more
