This is the best jamba juice store in terms of conveniences, and the best thing that;s ever happened to penn station probably since the installment of self service ticket kiosks. Jamba Juice always reminds me of the West Coast and I'm so glad that there is a Jamba Juice in Penn Station! I think being a "commuter" Jamba has helped make them very, very efficient. It literally takes about 2 or 3 minutes from paying at the register to getting your smoothie on. It's super convenient and I now stop by all the time on my way to work (especially during $2 smoothie weeks!) $1 oatmeal Wednesdays are amazing, but it seems like the $1 portions are smaller. You can get the brown sugar on the side to avoid having way too much sugar. Don't forget to get a stamp card! Save up 10 for a free smoothie. read more

After reading such raving reviews from this Jamba Juice branch I've decided to travel all the way from queens to the city to get myself some refreshing fruity smoothie. In less than 5min a lady came and took my order. After she took my order she just quickly slopped all the ingredients in the blender. When I got my juice it wasn't completely filled. More like 1 1/2 inch of it was empty. I'm paying close to $8 for my juice... Def. not coming back here. Hrrrgh I'm wavering between 3 or 4 stars...but since the actual smoothie was really delicious, I'll go with 4. I've never been to this Jamba Juice, so it was a bit of a struggle to find it in Penn Station. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon en route to my trip back to Baltimore, MD, and there was no line at the ordering counter, just one lady waiting for her order. I went with the Strawberry Surf Rider - strawberries, lemon, lime, peaches, since I was craving something tangy. My order came out really quickly, like in less than 5 minutes. However, the cup wasn't topped all the way - there was at least an inch at the top which was empty, which is kinda sad when you're paying like $6 for a smoothie? But it tasted great and fresh, super tangy from the lemon/lime but without completely overpowering the sweetness from the strawberries and peach. Satisfied my thirst on the ride home. :) It's convenient and quick, so a viable option if you want to grab something fruity! read more

Recently (not quite sure how recently) opened in the strip amidst the LIRR Concourse in Penn, this Jamba Juice is a pretty welcome addition, though I hope it doesn't commandeer all Planet Smoothies' biz. Staff was nice (and coherent) at 3am on a weeknight, and their prices & products are on par with the rest of their locations, at least for the time being. While the staff is as grumpy as you'd expect given the fact they're both open AND packed at 7am or earlier, they certainly are efficient, processing ISIS payments with ease and dishing out drinks faster than counterparts. read more

I forget about Jamba Juice in the winter but decided to stop in today on my way to work. The poster of the oatmeal topped with bananas drew me in.... and I was NOT disappointed, best oatmeal ever!! (Surprising for a franchise) The oatmeal itself was steal cut, kinda nutty. The brown sugar was not lumpy, and the bananas were freshly cut in front of me (vs the mushy/soupy mix normally found in your typical New York deli). Great start to a snowy day! :) P.S. Con, they only had one person working so service was slow (they probably cut back in the winter), but it was worth the wait. read more

Good smoothies! While I prefer the freshly squeezed juices of Smoothie King, I'll go to Jamba Juice when I'm off my diet and I want a sweet smoothie. My personal favorite is the chocolate-peanut butter Moo smoothie. I get mine made with soy as opposed to milk, because I'm lactose intolerant. read more

I've been coming to this Jamba Juice once every couple of months, and the service I received then would be worthy of a five star rating. But tonight, that streak is broken. The cashier told me that my medium Razzmatazz smoothie, without boosts, would be $7.00 even. He had to tell me the cost because the register doesn't have a total display. It ended up being $7.00 and change. But that's not why I gave this place a one star review. That would be petty. The smoothie I received did not have that smooth consistency one would generally expect from a smoothie. It looked more like a fruit juice cocktail that spent an hour in a cooler and it had plenty froth on top like a beer with too much head. $7.00 for 2/3 cold fruit juice and 1/3 froth? I also noticed that the customers who got their smoothies ahead of me had theirs with the perfect consistency. I wasn't rude or discourteous to the staff, nor did I do or say anything to offend them to deserve their cold fruit juice that they call a smoothie. Ordering here is a gamble with this new inconsistent staff. If you want to avoid the risk altogether, make the time to purchase some ice, fruit juice, frozen yogurt, frozen fruit, and a blender and make it at home. Or go to a different Jamba Juice or other smoothie chain. read more

Every time I'm going anywhere by train, I grab a raspberry banana smoothie from Jamba Juice in Penn Station. They're so so good! I think they're a decent value for the money as well. Most of the time the employees are excellent, but once in a while they'll have someone working there that acts like they hate their job and I'm inconveniencing them by placing an order. Simply not worth it. I paid $7 for a juice that tasted like it came from a fountain. I couldn't taste the flavor of my berries and it didn't taste like there was any real fruit in my drink. The service took forever which is not what I wanted at 8 am when I needed to get to work but the employees were nice. I love Jamba Juice because I think the smoothies always taste so refreshing and made with fresh ingredients. Service was quick and orders were accurate. My only complaint is the prices were outrageous. This is the first Jamba Juice I've been to in NYC, but the small sizes are still $6+, whereas in Texas they're definitely only $3-4. This location is one of my favorites because the staff here are extremely quick. It is a hidden gem because not many people go to this location. The best part it is right in Penn Station so you can hop right on the train after you have one in hand or go grab one before heading to work. I went to get a smoothie paid for the extra add ins. I ordered a strawberries wild with extra ice an honey an light banana an extra strawberries because bananas makes me nauseous. They gave me an Orange looking smoothie that taste like extra bananas. When I told them about their mistake they're insisting they made it right. I'm telling them in a polite way that this is the wrong smoothie. I go to Jamba Juice everyday an get the same smoothie,so they basically refused to make it over so I just ended up throwing away the smoothie. read more

They don't get five stars because the line is still out of the door during rush hour, making it impossible to risk mid-commute. I love this place. I never feel guilty buying drinks from here. It was and still is all the rage since I was in high school. It is a great snack to go something to just keep the stomach from growling. They have a great selection of drinks to choose from. My favorite is the green tea matcha. They also use to have another green tea flavored one but I think they took it out of the menu. They also have a citrus one that also was taken out. But I do like all the fruity ones. They have options for a energy boost or immune system boost. I fine that unique and I love that aspect. read more

It's pretty good! Compared to other locations, I noticed this location is much quicker with making orders - and the taste isn't sacrificed for speed. My first time here and i took advantage of the $3 coupon for a small almond milk pumpkin smoothie. It tasted more like banana than pumpkin and the consistency wasn't as thick as I'd like. Shout Out to Vlad and Dennis!!! Although Dennis wasn't trying to give up the extra smoothie left in the blender, these dudes are cool. The best thing about this Jamba Juice is Its 24 HOURS!!! The down side was we got there during shipment hours so they were out of a lot of stuff but these dudes made us custom drinks so I cant even tell you what drink I had, I can just tell you I didnt make it back to Queens. Yeesss, I drove all the way from Queens with some friends just to get some Jamba Juice at 2 am. If you try any other smoothie place, its Bootleg!!
