Just want to say the girls in here right now are killing it !! It's pretty busy but they busting their ahh off!!

I have been going to Jamba for years now and I'm still one of those people that call it Jamba Juice. I was randomly looking on their website and noticed several drinks that's not on the menu inside the stores. Could it be that they are offering Erewhon style smoothies? Oh my God yes! I ordered the Vanilla Blue Sky which is the Jamba's take on Erewhon's coconut cloud smoothie. Staff is very nice at the Coleman and Taylor location and you can't tell from my picture, but the smoothie is actually blue even though it looks purple in the picture. My Samsung Galaxy made the picture look purple lol. But anyways, I ordered the small and it's pricey at $10 but oh my goodness, it's a really good smoothie! If this is how the Erewhon smoothies tastes like, then I'm getting a bargain because their smoothies are almost $20! The smoothie is creamy, tart, takes me on a tropical journey and is satisfying with every sip. I cannot wait to try the other exclusive smoothies which are only available on their website and maybe the app. One sip and I am hooked. read more

Asked for freshly squeezed OJ inside the Mango go go and was willing to pay for the price. Worker told me I was making it too complicated as I stood there for 20 mins. She came back saying it'll be $80~ for 4 mango go go with the fresh OJ and I could care less about the price but it was the fact that she obviously didn't want to make it implying "that's a lot of oranges" I asked if we can do half concentrate then to make it easier on her but she said she didn't know how to make it. She then looked frustrated and asked me why am I making it so complicated for, again lol. I've been ordering the same drink for years and never had an issue I was just in the area and wanted something refreshing. I've never walked out of an establishment before until today. Told her I'll go to a different location to make it easier on her but the way she was thrilled I was leaving. Extremely Poor Customer Service & Hostile Environment. I had a very disappointing experience at this Jamba Juice,on Coleman & Taylor Street. Upon walking in ,I was met by staff members, including the manager, Jess, who was busy sorting out receipts. She looked briefly to say "Hi"but continued with her task, leaving me waiting without further acknowledgement. After an uncomfortable wait, Jess finally approached the register and asked if I was ready to order. I responded "that's why I'm here- I've been waiting." At that moment, one of the staff- a young girl with long black hair- turned to me with a visibly Hostile Glare and made a sarcastic comment. The entire interaction felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily confrontational . While I don't expect a five star dining experience from a smoothie shop, I do expect basic courtesy & professionalism. In today's economy, people are more careful than ever about where they spend their hard earned money, and I refuse to support a business that allows this kind of behavior- especially in my own community. I hope this feedback encourages better training and management. Good customer service does matter. read more

Every time I place an order, I have to wait a long time. The two staff members seem very professional and are constantly busy. However, while waiting, I observed closely and noticed that the work quality could use some improvement. When many people are queuing, they are still moving slowly and smooth, I also saw takeout orders being prepared at the same time. This Jamba is located in the San Jose Market Center shopping center. It was a hot day, and I went with one of my favorites, the Pomegranate Paradise. The service was ok, and there was a shaded area outside to sit down at, so I enjoyed my smoothie there. Another good Jamba experience!! read more

Juice in Case Arrived the other day looking for a smoothie at a little after 0900, but the store wasn't open despite Yelp, Google--and their website all stating they open at 0800. There was an employee in there doing some stuff, but she never once turned to acknowledge me and let me know what's going on. I'm really understanding about staffing shortages and that sort of issue(s), but at least let people know what's going on. First visit to this location and probably the last. I wasn't sure what I wanted but when I decided on an orange and carrot juice, I was told all the juicers were broken. That sucks to be a place called Jamba Juice and not even have the equipment to make juice (management problem). I decided on a 7$ small matcha that was 90% ice (refer to photo after I drank the matcha in 7 seconds). Most importantly, and the thing that had the most impact on my visit was the person in the sunglasses and vest (photographed). Let me tell you, this place was busy...about 8 ppl waiting for drinks, said sunglasses person was wandering around the kitchen, checking their phone, dancing...pretty much everything but working or helping the overburdened staff. I pray to God they aren't a manager. 0% happy with my order (7$ for a cup of ice) 0% happy with the ambiance (was just a bunch of us waiting for our drinks) 100% happy with the homeboy that took my order. We usually order our drinks on the app for efficiency, but by the time we finished deciding, we had already arrived at the location. So we walked in and noticed that they were offering popping boba and tapioca boba add-ons. The staff told us that it has been on the menu for a little over a month now. Lowkey that got us excited! We ordered the tapioca boba with our drinks and sadly, it did not meet our expectations. It was hard and bland. Jamba Juice will always have a place in my heart, but nowadays $10 for a large smoothie is not the move. It's just so much cheaper to make it yourself. read more

I was horrified at the prices and assumed that Jamba had jacked up their prices like every business has been doing lately. GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION IF POSSIBLE - my boyfriend and i usually go to this jamba juice when we're around the area or when we're craving something fruity after a workout. today we decided to order two drinks - a pb & banana protein and a chocolate covered strawberry. it seemed like we were the only one there but there was able 8 staffs that were just standing around. no one welcomed us upon entry - which i was kind of taken aback of but this didn't really result in the two stars. they usually have poor service and they just stare until you order or show they don't want to be there. nothing was new but never has any complaints about it. what made me not want to come back is bc not only was the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie super watery and not a smoothie at all. our cashier had told her coworker after she was helped out to find the item on the system that she didn't know they had the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie at their job. that's fine - but the response from the coworker definitely was not. i am baffled by the fact that after we walked away that the worker who helped and also was making the smoothie told the cashier that it's OK to charge customers an extra $0.50 for extra strawberries. so even if you DONT request for extra strawberries , they're going to charge you because to them "it's just $0.50". i don't mind but i think it was just pretty uncalled for to overhear that i essentially got charged an extra $0.50 without me knowing if she hadn't whispered a bit too loud. it IS just $0.50 but i don't think morally that's right. won't be coming here as i noticed the service has been pretty bad and this was just the cherry on top. read more

Not sure what they are thinking. I've tried to buy from this location 2x in the last 3 weeks and in both instances... they didn't want my money. Situation 1. I went there around 7:15 pm and when I walked up to the front door, I saw the workers inside but the sign on the door said they were closing early as per management. Sign posted hours show open to 8pm. Situation 2. I called to verify they would be open and serving at 7:30pm. They said yes, yes when I arrived and ordered... they then told me they stop making fruit bowls/bowls of any kind 1hr before closing time. I reminded them I just called 10mins prior and they said they were open for ALL items. To the owners/manager... you should think about how you service your customers, we are likely to spread the word that you don't want our business, or at a minimum let others know that your noted hrs are a lie, your available options are a lie. I'm almost positive the cashier is on drugs. He had no idea what I was talking about when ordering. Had to ask the manager what the daily vitamin and zinc was and he kept zoning out and rapidly blinking. I came to this location because it was close by to where I was but never again I had to update while still here... he called my order (what I ordered) and handed me to complete wrong order. Did a mobile order for pick up and went to the Jamba Juice on Coleman Ave. The place was a Mess! Old juice stains on the counters, trash on the floor, the trash cans were over filled, it just felt gross being in there. 2 of the drinks we ordered were good but the orange dream machine was very bitter. Will not be going back to this location. There was no "Welcome in" or "how can we help you". I enjoy smoothies, but they're something I really never order. I downloaded their app and the process was fantastic! They have a nice variety of options, so I was able to see what's in each smoothie before making my decision. I also enjoyed seeing the actual visuals of each one too. The app was offering a 50% off promo, so that made the smoothie even better! I really enjoy their Razzmatazz smoothie with the vitamin/zinc as the free boost. Since it was cold and rainy outside there wasn't a line or any customers when I went inside. I was able to pick my drink up immediately, but I'm sure it'll take a little longer during the summer months. I had a great experience and I'd definitely go back. read more

Recently I've been frequenting this Jamba Juice in the Coleman plaza. It's like any other local Jamba Juice, although I've found that this location does have more options of freshly squeezed juices compared to other franchises. The juices and smoothies are consistently made well. I do find that the employees at this location are inexperienced--particularly not very knowledgeable about their own products--and could use more customer service training. Furthermore, my latest visit wasn't all that great. I had arrived after a high school sports team had placed their order. While I waited for my own drink, a couple of parties arrived after me and also placed their orders. I don't know how I ended up being the last person getting a drink?! The people who came after me totally passed me up, and I even had to go up to the counter to remind the employees that I was still waiting for my drink. I'd normally prefer to make my own smoothies because it's SO much cheaper to do it yourself. BUT I was given a gift card for Jamba so I figured it shouldn't go to waste. Truly, even if the smoothies here were free, I might still consider not coming back. First of all, nobody was enforcing the COVID reduced capacity limit indoors. The sign said 9 people but I think I counted up to 15 people indoors at once. Second of all, service was soooo slowwww. I placed an order via mobile for pickup and was given an estimated time of 3:27pm. I ended up receiving my drinks around 3:45. This used to be a consistently good location. In the past month or so, they have never been open at their posted time, even though the interior lights are on. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if all the other local stores weren't ALSO closed in the morning, as well. I'm seriously done with driving around trying to find an open Jamba Juice location. You're about to lose a loyal customer (and risk going out of business if this is happening on a national level), because I don't have the time or patience to trek all over the south bay for a location that has reliable morning staff. Btw, advising that we "call to see if they're open" isn't a viable option. Because Jamba is understaffing their stores to slash costs, most often the few stores that actually ARE open have only person to handle register, bar, AND answering their phone - which means phone calls are basically ignored. Love this particular outlet for their quick service and almost no wait. Always get their purely carrot juice and really happy with the quality of carrots used. They are always fresh and taste good. Order through the app for pick up and it's ready in 8 mins! They also have social distancing and sanitizers in place so pretty safe too. read more

Ordered on their app and went in to pick it up. I ordered the protein berry workout with a soy base. It wasn't my favorite. The soy base was a bit grainy. I probably wouldn't get this again. But Jamba has a lot of options. And good options too. Drink was ready when I arrived and it was quick and easy. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Though it's right next to the Starbucks drive-thru so there are a lot of cars around. read more

Went in for a mobile order of a smoothie and a waffle about an hr ago.. It took a little longer than expected but I was ok with it as there was only 2 young men working there they were pretty busy.. I actually felt bad for them because a lot of people kept coming in.. There was one gentleman that stood out.. unfortunately I didn't get his name but he had big wavy/curly hair hr may possibly be hispanic/latino. He was multitasking and kept a great attitude even though one customer was pretty rude with the faces she was making He was greeting everyone that came in, he was making smoothies and juice, taking orders and payments. He truly deserves a raise and recognition as he stayed calmed and had a great attitude the whole time I was in there! As for jamba juice you should have more people working there since these guys seemed swamped and tired Rude customers, poor management and the pay makes it hard for people to want to come to work. I've been in their shoes and situations like these is what made me want to not work at a restaurant anymore. Treat your employees better so they feel happy coming to work! read more

I did not have lunch since I was at a Egyptian museum for a couple of hours. And I didn't want to use an Uber to get to my hotel. So I walked there and found a Jamba Juice along the way. It is pretty cool 2 1/2 mile walk from Park Avenue, San Jose to N. 4th Ave., San Jose, Jamba Juice was a hidden gem I found en route. It was a familiar sight since we have Jamba Juice in Honolulu. I'm on my walk that Sunday afternoon in December 2021, the day after Christmas, I found myself here at this Jamba Juice location because I needed lunch and my stomach was rumbling. It didn't dawn on me to use the Yelp app to find a decent local restaurant that afternoon, but here I was at Jamba Juice. It was a quick and painless solution that provided me with sustainable energy, so I can make it to my hotel for the evening on foot. I arrived here around 2:30pm. The place was virtually empty when I came in and the staff available was in the back for a few minutes before coming out to provide service to its customers. While being a healthy solution to a possibly fast food lifestyle, it was nice to have such a treat during my time here in San Jose. I eventually ordered the medium chocolate moo'd with added strawberries. I also purchased a turkey wrap, which was pretty good, and a pretzel to round out the meal to go. My experience here took about 15 minutes at most, along with a regular customer complimenting on my NJ sweater, thinking I was from NJ, but I'm not. It was interesting, nonetheless. The prices here were almost consistent than what I'd expect back home in Honolulu, although it's a bit more. It's California though. Only thing you get here is pure health and fresh smoothies. Quite nice if you are starting a health kick or sustaining a great lifestyle. The overall experience here at this Jamba Juice in San Jose, California was short and sweet. The service here was very interesting and funny at the same time. It was nice to have a familiar place to have a quick lunch here, since Jamba Juice brand is all over Hawaii anyway. Jamba Juice is known for its health they were in smoothies, but they also have some not so healthy smoothies, like chocolate and peanut butter, but everything in moderation, right? For me though, I like everything here because it's healthy, easy to drink down, and definitely delicious. It's nice to point out that a Jamba Juice can be a substitute for a meal for people on the go. It's good enough to help sustain people for a few hours before another meal is scheduled to be on tap. My favorite would be the chocolate or peanut butter moo'd combinations currently, but I do like the cold buster or the strawberries wild at one time or another. Some coworkers of mine like piña colada at one point but tastes change over time, it seems. The prices seem to have gone up in recent years, with the medium being at a price point of over seven dollars USD. It is what it is and it seems like it's a sign of the times. It's on point with any other fast food meal that you may have, that is considerably the same amount of money as a Jamba Juice. This Jamba Juice location is very clean and definitely well organized. It was nice to have an empty store, so that I did not have to wait too long for my smoothie at the time. I'll be busy is good, waiting around for an order is not so good. If you are craving a healthy delicious smoothie and you are in the San Jose area, consider coming to Jamba Juice for your health kick. Definitely a place to have a quick lunch on the goal as well, and it is delicious. This Jamba Juice location is situated at 695 Coleman Avenue in San Jose. The Jamba Juice is a part of the San Jose Market Center shopping mall, which I didn't realize during my time here. I guess I wanted to get to the hotel before dark, so it was a quick transaction here at Jamba Juice. They except major credit cards, as well as cash. But with the current pandemic COVID-19, facemasks into any business is required. As far as parking goes, there is plenty of parking here for your benefit, since it is a shopping mall apparently. I did not know this until Google told me 10 days later while drafting this review. If you decide to come here via public transportation, consider your routes to come here and you'd be all set. For the most part though, it was nice to have something familiar during this trip to San Jose. Not homesick, but familiar. While they're just smoothies, they're something that can brighten your morning or help you with your day, regardless if you're on a health kick or not. Try the chocolate moo'd with strawberries.
