It used to be at Milpitas and Cupertino only and it is quite had to find parking in ethe same parking lot of those two locations . Valley fair mall has a lot more parking structures so more parking . However , strongly recommended that you avoid the weekends. Even if you try to get out of a parking garage like 3 pm , sometimes the wait could be 2 hours !!! I ordered D5 mango coconut drink with aloe Jelly . It is not too sweet and I love the coconut juice and the chewy of the aloe jelly. The mango is fresh and sweet . There are other varieties on the menu : mango ice cream , mango pudding , mango crisp and pudding , etc . We placed the order then found a table to sit down . Looking for a refreshing summer drink? I found it at Hui Lau Shan in Valley Fair Mall! The stand sits on the main aisle of the Food Court - omg, I generally don't go there. But, like a magnet, I was drawn to the drinks with orange colored mango fruit. They looked like slushies-of sorts. In the back of the stand ladies were slicing up loads of mangoes-fresh! These drinks remind me of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. I ordered the mango, coconut and sago drink...and it was delicious The price is on par with matcha lattes that I get. The more flavors in the drink, the prices go up ($7+ tax and watch the payment screen since each charge defaults to 20% tip!!). The order service is quick. Tip2: Don't ask a lot of questions or the staff can get tetchy about it. As with any food court this size, it is noisy and crowded - no ambiance at all. My friends and I were at the mall for my birthday lunch when we came across Hui Lau Shan (one of my favs)! We've been to the Berkeley location before so this was our first time trying this location. I honestly expected the quality to be lower since it's inside a mall but it tasted just as good as the Berkeley location. Their menu was fully available with no limited items, which was a nice surprise because I had come to this location several months before and they said not all the items were available yet since the location just opened. Finally trying Mango Heaven!! I got the mango coconut sago and I loved how soft and chewy the sago was. The sago pearls are bigger than other pearls I've tried which made it the perfect mango dessert. I liked the fresh mango bits on top of my blended drink. The mango ball of ice cream in the middle was bomb and the surrounding which felt like soft serve mango was also BOMB. The whit3 chewy balls were ight. This is one of my favorite places to get mango desserts! I first tried Hui Lau Shan in college, and I really wish they had more locations. My friend and I got our usual: the Pomelo and Mango with Sago, which is perfect for mango and coconut lovers. There is also a "dessert" version of this that you eat with a spoon, but I prefer the drink option because it's more convenient. We also ordered an extra to bring home for someone else! The drink is made with coconut milk, blended mangos, fresh, diced mangoes, and fresh pomelo. I believe they use Ataulfo mangos, which are my favorite because they aren't fibrous and taste like honey when they're ripe. The drink also has sago at the bottom, which adds the perfect chew. I highly recommend trying this place! If you do, make sure you stir this well so that you mix all the different layers and components in this drink! :) read more

All Hui Lau Shan Hong Kong style dessert locations are good in California. Westfield ValleyFair shopping center's food court location isn't my favorite because it's small, but it's still a good over-the-counter order, grab, and go spot. Staffs are efficient and organized here. If you like coconut/mango/jelly/sweet mochi boba/tapioca balls, then all Hui Lau Shan locations won't disappoint. Drawback is that all prices are considered expensive or high for Asian desserts. I paid $9 for #9, the coconut jelly and watermelon dessert. I am a huge fan of all almond/coconut jelly or gelatin desserts. Delicious as usual. Once in a while is ok, but if they made smaller cup portions and sold them around $5 each, I would still consider buying more instead of just a $9 cup. Overall, decent and very good. Hui Lau Shan desserts are truly a blessing to enjoy. Desserts are made to excellence and looks great too. The Las Vegas location is still my favorite so far. You can actually sit inside that place to chat or have conversations in groups. Hui Lau Shan's menu selections are always tempting. Westfield ValleyFair shopping mall gets busy and loud most of the time. It's just another dessert type environment. I will keep revisiting different locations when I pass by again. read more
