Ordered the Dubai style chocolate matcha, and it was okay. The coffee flavor was not as strong as I prefer, and the matcha and Dubai chocolate were only slightly noticeable. I also substituted for the oat milk, but it tasted like regular milk, which was disappointing. Customer service was good, and there was plenty of parking available. I have peets coffee in the same complex as my work so I order occasionally from them. However recently I had their banana bread which is so so good. Very yummy. Not too sweet and not dense but moist and soft. The walnuts outside the slice give a nice crunch to it. And the banana started is not too overpowering. I also loved their pistachio latte which was so good. I love Peet's tbh. Great place to go and hang with friends or even sit there and work for some time. read more

Customer service was not good at all. I did my order, and it was originally $27. I gave them $100, and they told me they do not accept $100 bills, but they did not have a sign. That was the only cash I had. I tried to give some change and used my card, but I only had 4 cents left to pay. It was humiliating because they did not want to process my transaction. So I gave up and told them I would just take the two coffees. Because she canceled the transaction, I could not use the money I had on my card since I have to wait for it to show up again. So I could only get one coffee and one banana bread because I had a coupon. The cashier got mad because I told her to refund the rest of the items, another coffee and a grilled cheese. She preferred to throw the items in the trash instead of selling them and letting the 4 cents go. I know that if they didn't have 4 cents to give me, they would just say "sorry, we don't have change." I love Peet's, but this level of service and workers who like to humiliate people is not okay. read more

Came by in the morning with very little traffic and hardly any shoppers with so many surrounding business closed for the holiday. Greeted very warmly by the staff and I chose the iced mocha with whipped cream regular not decaf. Cozy interior clean spacious and they even have a large outdoor seating. Loved my mocha light and flavorable was going to have a muffin or brownie abit overpriced though they look tempting. Parking can be a little challenging, but I was lucky to find a 5 minute or 15 minute parking right in front of the store. I arrived around 12:30pm on a Sunday, and it was pretty much empty inside. My wife once introduced me to Peets coffee. I had been a Starbucks connoisseur for some years now at that time. I began to try their various flavors per their image marketing strategies screens at Peet's Coffee at 1088 E Brokaw Rd Ste 80 San Jose, CA 95131 and finally became a connoisseur of their Havanna Capuccine Wet. I pay a fee for a drink flavor that has enticed me and keeps me coming for more. I believe that is one thing that makes these type of BARISTA COFFEE places famous. We pay for a particular taste that make our senses tingle with delight. Bottom line, they do not have a measured way of defining what a Havana Cappuccino should taste. Since they do not taste every drink they make, the baristas are just winging it. Since I have been voicing my dissatisfaction with the baristas that do not know how to mix it well, they have asked me to stop ordering this drink because I either want a free drink or just want to cause some sort of trouble. They tell me they make their Havana Cappuccino the same way everytime and I disagree because I get to taste it and they do not. So management at 1088 E Brokaw Rd Ste 80 San Jose, CA 95131 has instructed one of my favorite baristas Theo not to make my future Havana cappuccinos because they believe I am a trouble maker. They do not want me ordering this drink anymore and try something else. They a blaming the paying customer for their lack of quality control. The management needs to evaluate what each flavor tastes like and come up with a measured way of making these drinks. Some baristas from my observations do not measure how much sweetened condensed milk goes into this drink but leave it to the baristas judgement how much to sqeeze into the coffee cup. I was offended at the fact that they banned me from ordering what I want because they do not have their act together on what ounces need to be used for a small, medium or large Havana. Their management is out of touch about how to recreate their flavors consistently. They need to be told not to work at Peets if you do not know how to consistently make the same flavor over and over again. I pay for s consistent and not a random taste. I am considering calling channel 7 on my side and prove what I am typing here is true. Peets at 1088 E Brokaw Rd Ste 80 San Jose, CA 95131 have judged me and a defamation of character about what I love to drink. I am a connoisseur for "Havana Cappuccino". Simple and satisfying. Peet's Coffee has waves of people coming in all throughout the day. I came around lunchtime and it was pretty crowded. I ordered a hazelnut oat latte and it was served fairly quickly (under 5 minutes). The hazelnut oat latte was pretty solid for anyone craving a coffee that's on the sweeter side. The only downside is that parking is difficult, especially around lunchtime. Overall, it was a pretty nice place and quick service. They have indoor seating, which was nice for the coffee shop ambiance. Will be coming back! read more

To save me some time, I prefer placing my order ahead of time via Peet's mobile app. My drinks are always ready to go by the time I arrive and I'm able to go about my day. 4 stars simply regarding my beverage purchases because I have very little to no interaction with the staff. Coffee shops are getting pricey these days. Over $6 for many of their large size specialty drinks, so only come once in a while or when there's a deal. Right now they're having 12 days of Christmas deals for Peetnik rewards members and today was bogo free holiday drinks. Tried their new snow cap mint matcha latte and got a peppermint mocha since the dark chocolate orange mocha didn't count as a holiday beverage. The mint matcha latte is tasty for any matcha lover but not very minty. Peppermint mochas are one of my favorite holiday beverages and Peets makes theirs well, not as sweet as other places. The dark chocolate orange mocha is a Peets specialty and definitely one of my favorites! If you're looking for a seasonal drink, this is the one to try. Ordered ahead on the mobile app and my drinks were ready on time. Right now they are taking orders from the side door at a table and mobile orders are available on the table as well. I think it's a bit sweeter and their oat milk tastes different from the plant-based drinks they have at Starbucks. it was still a fine drink that gave me the boost I needed to work. The store itself is spacious and clean. For mobile orders, you just walk up to the shelf to see if your cup has already been made. I have only been here twice, but I have genuinely enjoyed each visit. This place is a great place to study. It does get noisy at times, especially in the afternoons, but the ambience is pretty relaxed and chill for the most part. A lot of people do tend to come in and out, and many of the seats were taken when I came, so I wouldn't recommend it for larger study groups. On to the drinks! My favorite drink so far has been the iced matcha latte. I don't like my drinks too sweet, and they were more than happy to accommodate by adding just a splash of sweetener. It was perfect- much better than the starbucks one I usually get! The servers are extremely nice as well.
