I ordered a range of donuts alongside iced Vietnamese coffees and matcha teas, and everything was 10/10, taste and quality wise. As a group, we have a spectrum of dietary restrictions and this fit all of our needs (and deliciously so!) AND the service and order process was great. Stopped by here on a Saturday morning and found parking across the street, but I can anticipate parking would be difficult during peak hours since it's in downtown. I was intrigued by the vegan banh mi and would like to come back to try sometime. The woman at the counter was very friendly. I ordered donut holes, a matcha cake donut, and a long john, plus two drinks: iced matcha + iced Thai tea. I didn't expect the drinks to be that good since it was from a donut shop, but they were surprisingly pretty good! I asked for less sweetness and they were able to make it. I liked my donut a lot and didn't feel like it tasted that different from a "regular" donut, but my husband felt like it did. Overall, can't go wrong with donuts. It's always cool to find places that offer vegan options and see how they compare to the real thing. I ordered the sugar donut and a raspberry filled donut. The sugar donut was more like bread and didn't have the texture i was looking for. The raspberry filled donut was pretty good and had a good amount of filling. I ordered a mocha to go with my donut and the mocha was pretty good. It wasn't super sweet and I really enjoyed it. I also tried the matcha but it was really sweet. I really appreciated having a vegan donut option around the hotel I stayed at. The original donuts were tasty. The apple fritter was so so. I enjoyed my freshly brewed coffee drink. This is a nice spot to get some vegan donuts if you are craving donuts but don't want the traditional donuts. They have a good variety and the donuts are really rich. I tried the apple fritter and it was just okay for me. The texture made it feel stale. But I warmed it up in my microwave at home and it was much better! Doing this brought out moisture so it wasn't as dry, and I enjoyed it this way. It's a generous size (see picture), but I thought it didn't have as much flavor as I would like. They are always out... there's definitely demand for their doughnuts but they just don't make enough :) I always order ahead but by the time of my pick up, they said they are all out and will refund me. It was disappointing since I had to drive 20 miles to pick them up. Be aware that Parking is also very hard to find... street parking in downtown area. I got donuts and drinks today to go with my vegan bánh mì from Aina's. I got an iced Vietnamese coffee and my boyfriend got an iced Thai tea. We both enjoyed our drinks. The donuts we got were amazing as well! I highly recommend the chocolate Oreo donut and the chocolate cream filled donut. As a note, they offer both cake and raised donuts here! The cake donuts are denser and richer while the raised donuts are lighter and fluffier. Both are delicious, but the raised donuts are my favorite! They also sell out quickly. We were in the area and decided to make a pit stop for donuts. I've heard so many good things from not just Yelp but from people telling me about this spot and their Vegan donuts that taste just like regular donuts. While they were good, they just didn't quite make the cut for me. The Matcha cake donut didn't have the slightest taste of 'matcha' flavor in it. Had I not seen the green icing on top, I would have mistaken it for just a regular cake donut with sugared icing. The dough itself was okay-- it was soft but didn't quite taste like regular traditional (non Vegan) cake donuts I've had in the past. Granted, I don't eat donuts all the time and so I was looking forward to having these as a treat. The best one here for me was the Chocolate cake donut with peanuts on top. This was great-- slightly bigger than the Matcha cake donut. It wasn't overpowering with its sweetness and had a good amount of crushed peanuts on top. The place itself was spacious inside and since we came when it was almost closing time (2pm) there weren't too many people inside. They had a deal for half a dozen and then get one free. It was around $20 plus some change. (I can't remember because I paid in cash.) Parking is also super limited because you have to park on the street. SUPER DELICIOUS all vegan donuts! I used to love old fashioned donuts before going vegan, and this was my first time getting to have them again in several years, and they did not disappoint. Both the blueberry and maple flavors were incredible. My non-vegan friends also loved them and said they couldn't tell that they were vegan. I have been to this cafe a few times, and the donuts are always so delicious. I love all the different flavors they have, and it's awesome how much variety there is. Damn it she grabbed the last chocolate old fashioned." - "Okay, she didn't grab the matcha. There's still hope." - "Ooff... now this next person is also ordering a dozen. She doesn't really seem like she knows what she wants though. Okay, some regular glazed donuts, cool... still hope." - "Wait, did she just ask what that green one was? Did they just tell her it's matcha? NO... SHE DID NOT JUST GRAB IT." I. was. gutted. I knew in my heart that I wanted that matcha more than they did. I'm 1000% sure she only got it to have a variety pack in her dozen. All the regrets! I should've stopped in 5, 10, even 30 minutes earlier to ensure I got my matcha donut. I was sad and angry but knew that I'd probably return one day to get my revenge and purchase this flavor. After moments of cursing the world, I finally got to the front and ordered three donuts to quell my soul - blueberry old fashioned, oreo, and maple glaze. Even though I didn't get my matcha, everything was delicious, fluffy, and hit the sweet donut spot that I was seeking. Each donut was roughly $3. I hope that person enjoyed the matcha because that should've been mine. But despite not having it, I loved this vegan donut shop and definitely want my redemption at some point. // I'd like to dedicate this review to my late brother who would've been 30 today and followed a vegan diet. Yes!!!! Another vegan donut spot and this one only 6 mins from my work. Went on a Saturday morning. Line was about 6 people deep so not bad.
