I lucked out and got the last apple pie donut with some donut holes and a Vietnamese coffee. The donuts are always fresh and sell out quick. Everytime I'm in sj, I had to stop by here and get a couple donuts. They have a banh mi place inside as well but unfortunately they were closed for the week. Looking forward to trying the sandwiches next time I'm in town.

I really appreciated having a vegan donut option around the hotel I stayed at. The original donuts were tasty. The apple fritter was so so. I enjoyed my freshly brewed coffee drink. I did go when it was almost lunch time and the donuts were dwindling in choices. Perhaps go earlier! Still recommend for a fresh vegan donut fix. Staff was friendly! This shop shares a building with the ban mi shop.

I tried the apple fritter and it was just okay for me. The texture made it feel stale. But I warmed it up in my microwave at home and it was much better! Doing this brought out moisture so it wasn't as dry, and I enjoyed it this way. It's a generous size (see picture), but I thought it didn't have as much flavor as I would like. It's a bit pricey at $6.

Amazing selection and absolutely delicious. We got a dozen and were given some free donut holes. Every flavor was decadent.

We had higher hopes for the higher price point of these donuts. The donuts were ok. Service was good.

Do they do any promotions for National Donut Day?

No idea, sorry.

Whats vegan about them?

Donuts are usually made with eggs and milk. These donuts are not made with animal products.

What are their new COVID-19 business hours?

They are open from 9am-2pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Are they open during quarantine?

No they are not :( it makes me so sad passing by it and seeing them closed

Is there any alcohol or rum used in any of the donut or ice cream?

I have no idea......I would ask. The food is really good and I did not taste rum in any on the food I got.

Do they have Eggs ? Any Eggless options?

None of their donuts have eggs, they are all vegan

What are the business hours? Also, can you buy donuts by the dozen?

They sell dozen and half dozen donut packs, mix and match.

Are there peanut free safe items?

they fry it with vegetable oil. All their donuts are nut a free as well as tree nut free. The only one that has nut is the donut that has peanut topping.

Do they have gluten free options as well?

No, sorry to say that they do not...

Are there any nut ingredients in the donuts?

The donuts are made peanut-free because they fry them in vegetable oil. The only nut ingredient they use is the ones with peanut toppings on top.

Do they have gluten-free vegan donuts as well?

I’m sorry for that. Our donuts are gluten. They make from wheat flour. We are sorry to our customers who are gluten-free, but we do have gluten-free gelato.

Is there Gluten free donuts?

No 🙁

Are these donuts soy free too?

Basically, all the donuts make from wheat flour, sustainable certified palm oil, and raw sugar.

What are the store hours?

Sunday 7am-5pm Monday 6:30am-5pm Tuesday -closed-…

How long has this been in San Jose and how have I not been there yet?!?!?

Hahahaha. It's only been open for like 9 days, so give yourself some slack. But also, get your butt over there ASAP!

I used to come by Dr.ink every morning on my commute and would try all the seasonal coffees as they…read morewere all good. It is a bit on the pricier side, and could argue it's more of a dessert coffee, but they have so much to choose from to fit your need. The workers here are very friendly and are fun fyp talk to. The inside is very clean, with decent amount of seating and places to work/study and take pictures.

Stopped by to study this afternoon and had a pretty nice experience. Parking is a little difficult,…read moreas it is close to a lot of other busy restaurants and businesses, but with a little scouting I managed to lock in a spot. The shop itself is on the small side, with a couple tables for indoor seating and no outdoor seating. The interior boasts a curious modern-industrial vibe that I found pleasant and unique. Though I was lucky enough to grab a good spot, this isn't a prime study location--there aren't many outlets, they close at 5 (so not ideal for 9-to-5ers) and the seating is a little limited. That said, there is free WiFi and bathroom access, so if you have a well-charged laptop and a bit of luck, it's not a bad pick. Their offerings include a mid-sized array of espresso-based and tea-based drinks alongside a small selection of pastries. Though the pastries looked decent, I abstained in favor of the black sesame latte, which I liked a lot. The black sesame cream top is very delicious, though once it settles into the drink it can get a bit grainy with the coarser bits of black sesame. I really liked that it wasn't too sweet, but I wish the espresso was stronger. The drinks are on the somewhat pricier side at $7-$8 (though it feels as though I'm seeing this price range very often these days), and I feel that it is just on the cusp of being a little too much for what I am getting. While the drinks are fun and pretty good, the coffee itself doesn't stand out a ton. I definitely need to try more drinks to form a more cohesive opinion, though. Overall, it's a pretty solid spot, and they offer a fun array of some more standard café offerings alongside some unique signature and special crafted drinks. They did get my name wrong (even after I spelled it out for them), but other than that, the service was friendly and fast. I'll definitely swing by again if I can find the time.

Taste: 10/10 Service: 10/10…read moreAmbiance: 7/10 Price: 8/10 If I'm here on the east side of San Jose, Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu is my go-to for sugarcane juice. Enter through the front entrance of the Grand Century Mall, turn left and make your way down the hall to the food court. Among the colorful array of food shops, is a bright green shop that is Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu where a silvery machine to the left is seen squeezing out sugarcane juice! I shouldn't say that I hate carrots -- that's unbecoming of me -- but I strongly dislike carrots. This is one of the only ways I would enjoy carrots: nuoc mia ca-rot! I rarely order anything else from here but I would encourage you to explore their menu and come back for more! Nuoc mia ca-rot has a wonderful blend of mild earthiness of the carrot and the grassy undertones of sweetness from the sugarcane. It takes the edge off of what would otherwise be a very sweet drink! I would much prefer nuoc mia over boba milk tea (particularly on hot, summer days!). Sugarcane juice is a bit pricey here, but I chalk it up to this is a specialty shop just for nuoc mia which lends a certain nostalgia for Vietnam. There are versions of the drink here that you can't get anywhere else. If you want to experience a taste of Vietnamese culture, Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu is a great place to start! Try them out!

This is honestly one of my fave spots for nước mía (sugarcane juice) in San Jose. It's located…read moreinside the food court at Grand Century Mall. Ninh Kieu is pretty well-known for their fresh pressed sugarcane juice (made when you order!!) and also got a bunch of specialty healthy juice combos. I went on a Saturday around lunch time and it wasn't too busy, waited like 5 mins for two drinks. My all-time go-to is the OG sugarcane juice with kumquat... soooo refreshing, sweet with that little citrus kick, just hits every time. I also brought my bestie with me and it was her first time trying sugarcane juice ever, and she loves strawberry so I got her that flavor... tell me why she got OBSESSED. She literally finished the whole thing in 30 mins and was still talking about it 2 days later saying she was craving it again lol. Price is pretty average compared to other spots, nothing crazy, but the quality is always consistent and fresh which I appreciate.
