The service was kind and swift, and when there was an error with our bill, they were quick to resolve it. We are now part of the many who will recommend you try The Smoke Cafe. The same great food, the same great service, better coffee and the convenience of being able to pay by card (wth a fee). Are the prices a little higher? Yes; but what isn't these days? For wonderful pancakes cooked in butter, I'd pay it gladly. All the recipes are the same and boy am I glad. And the specials are always fun. I'd like to put my request in for a Corn Dog omelette special, please. I had it about 7 years ago and I still can taste it. My hubs would like the Cowboy Filet Mignon. Jose is a breath of fresh air. So friendly and attentive, as is the rest of the staff. Well, damn. Now I'm hungry.

The tenders were fine but leaned heavy into the breading vs the chicken. The sauces were solid though. I liked the bbq, buffalo, and honey mustard. For a family of 5, we were able to feed everyone for just under $100, which honestly is not terrible in 2026. The food does what it needs to do to provide some sustenance before or after some gambling in the casino.

It was pretty quiet during lunch, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the salad and it was massive -- easily big enough for two people. The only downside was the beer selection. They were out of quite a few options. Luckily they still had the one I wanted, but another customer gave up the search and settled for a soda. Food and service were excellent overall. Just don't come expecting a fully stocked beer list.

However, I Visited on Mother's Day with my daughter and sister and had a completely different experience. I have a gluten allergy, one daughter has gluten sensitivity, and my other daughter has celiac disease. We informed our waitress that we needed gluten-free options and were told they were out of gluten-free buns but had gluten-free sourdough. After double-checking, the chef confirmed it was gluten-free. Something didn't seem right, so we asked to see the packaging. Wheat was listed as an ingredient. Thankfully, we caught the mistake before eating it. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, two of the gluten-free meals were still served with gluten-containing items, including a flour tortilla and the same bread we'd already identified as not gluten-free. The food itself was actually delicious, and I wish I could leave a more positive review based on that alone. However, for anyone with celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or a serious gluten sensitivity, accurate ingredient information is not optional--it's a health and safety issue. The repeated errors from both the kitchen and serving staff were extremely disappointing and left me with little confidence in their ability to safely accommodate gluten-free guests.

We often order multiple orders of their gyro meat à la carte to go. We use it to make many of our future meals that week (well...if it lasts that long...we often devour it as soon as we're back home). I feel abundantly blessed that Yianni's opened up in the Sonora area. The place is brimming with charm and good vibes. They offer regular specials, and their standard menu is full of flavorful options. No matter your dietary needs or preferences - they got you. We dined in here recently and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly.
