The Volcano Scramble was both mammoth and delicious. This entrée is a shareable size, and while my wife and I did share it, we were not able to finish it. My daughters also enjoyed a kid's pancake and chicken fried chicken. How was that for two different breakfast orders? The service was kind and swift, and when there was an error with our bill, they were quick to resolve it. We are now part of the many who will recommend you try The Smoke Cafe. The portions are generous (if you are a senior with a smaller appetite they have a senior portion on some menu items at a reduced price). They offer indoor & covered outdoor dining. There is also a daily specials board with dishes not on their regular menu. Today I had their cranberry coconut banana bread pudding breakfast (from the specials menu). It came with choice of breakfast meat & 2 eggs. Loved it! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid breakfast at a good price. They offer a lunch menu too, but I am all about breakfast. Yum!

There were long lines after 7pm here and pretty much only one cashier taking orders. While ordering took some time, the food came out within 10-15 minutes, so not too bad. I went with their smashburger, which was decent but didn't have much flavor. I think it needs more salt though. It was the type of burger that will satisfy the craving but not something I'd be rushing back for again and again. I also got some chicken tenders and fries. Fries weren't fresh and low key soggy. The tenders were fine but leaned heavy into the breading vs the chicken. The sauces were solid though. I liked the bbq, buffalo, and honey mustard. For a family of 5, we were able to feed everyone for just under $100, which honestly is not terrible in 2026. The food does what it needs to do to provide some sustenance before or after some gambling in the casino.

The option to sit outside makes this a great choice for summer evening dinners , but indoors is comfortable . It can be a tad loud if it is a busy time of day so for the hearing impaired that could be a challenge but ask if you could sit on the wine side , it is a little quieter. 90% of the time we have GREAT service but on occasion we have had to flag down server for help or to pay . But don't let that small chance deter you , the food will not disappoint.

However, I Visited on Mother's Day with my daughter and sister and had a completely different experience. I have a gluten allergy, one daughter has gluten sensitivity, and my other daughter has celiac disease. We informed our waitress that we needed gluten-free options and were told they were out of gluten-free buns but had gluten-free sourdough. After double-checking, the chef confirmed it was gluten-free. Something didn't seem right, so we asked to see the packaging. Wheat was listed as an ingredient. Thankfully, we caught the mistake before eating it. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, two of the gluten-free meals were still served with gluten-containing items, including a flour tortilla and the same bread we'd already identified as not gluten-free. The food itself was actually delicious, and I wish I could leave a more positive review based on that alone. However, for anyone with celiac disease, a gluten allergy, or a serious gluten sensitivity, accurate ingredient information is not optional--it's a health and safety issue. The repeated errors from both the kitchen and serving staff were extremely disappointing and left me with little confidence in their ability to safely accommodate gluten-free guests.

It was good. -Corn beef hash: wifey likes it. Said she should have gone with the fresh hash instead. Oh well, for sure next time. Country potatoes were bomb w/ just enough seasoning.... Perhaps it's due to inflation but 70$ for a couple sandwiches and a milkshake seems high but speaking of, it IS good! We got the patty melt with fried chicken on the inside, and onion rings, a Dr Pepper with a chocolate shake! My friend got the Chicken Pesto Sandwich with their garlic fries and their ranch (which was home made I tried it. YUM) the food was juicy and the milkshake was creamy with real ice cream. Absolutely delish!!!! The service was great per usual! Our server I've had before who is hilarious, SUPER good at serving I swear can triple task. Plus he was good at bringing me Dr Pepper and gave me one to go. Extra points for that!!!! If there's one thing I loooove it's my drinks and the faster I get them fresh the happier I personally am!!! The ambiance is very casual and usually packed to the bone!! The residents of the area are all friendly, the girls working behind the bar are sweethearts it's decorated with country style everything! I saw a puppy in there named Kona, very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable I highly recommend if you're traveling and looking for somewhere good to eat off of the 108 with amazing service and food it's here!!!

We often order multiple orders of their gyro meat à la carte to go. I had the chicken sandwich, and it was quite bland and seemed to be missing seasoning. My partner enjoyed the fish, so that dish was a better experience. The biggest disappointment was the tzatziki. It tasted unusually sour, almost as if the yogurt had expired. I genuinely hope the kitchen tastes it before serving, as it didn't seem right. I did let the server know and she did let the kitchen know. I'm very familiar with Greek cuisine, and compared to what I've had elsewhere, the food here was unfortunately quite mediocre. I also noticed the owner's responses to other reviews. I hope the feedback isn't only acknowledged but also used to make meaningful improvements. I share these comments in the hope that they help make the dining experience better for future guests.

what a creative menu!…read more I was hungry for a philly cheese, and the "philly cheese please" hit the spot. Soft tender slices of ribeye, paired with grilled onions, grilled red and green bell peppers and a helping of black pepper was great. No sauce to make it messy and paired with garlic truffle fried was fantastic. Since these were shoe string cut, they were crispy and very crunchy. My SO ordred the fondue burger, and this was delicious as well. Warning the hot cheese will burn you, and hot cheese oil. But worth the burn as this smother cheese on a ciabatta bun was great. This was paired with sweet potato fries. These thick cut sweet potatoe fries are only sprinkled with sea salt, they retained the soft and moist texture just prefect. One order of a passion fruit lemonade, was a great balance of sweet and tart, and came in a very large glass. Pleanty of ice to keep it chill and slowly sip through out the meal. The meal a tad heavier than I thought, I finished my philly cheese, but not the fries (a first) The room is very high ceiling and all these great art works, posters and items on all the walls. TV screen with sports and sounds like sattelite radio running above. Service was very prompt and friendly. They explained the menu and clarified on some points. Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.
