This is a review for a SkipTheDishes order. I ordered the shahi paneer, rice pilau and garlic naan. The shahi paneer tasted very different compared to all the other places I've ordered it from, it was not very creamy and tasted almost as if it was watered down. The rice tasted very bland considering it was the pilau style. The naan was kind of stale and also a little flavourless. I'm not sure if I'll order from here again however I am very happy to know that they offer free food to those without money. That is a very selfless and admirable thing to do and I am very proud of you folks for doing that. read more

I would have given it 5 stars. The food is EXCELLENT. Delicious! Really -- you must try it. I wish they would put in more meat when you order a tandoori dish. In class Indian style (most Indian restaurants do this), they pour on a ton of peppers to make it appear that you have alot of food, but you don't. It is cheapness that is unpleasant and has no place in a restaurant. It is frankly just not smart to do this. Also, be very vigilant of what they charge you. More than 50% of the time, these guys overcharge you. Not surprisingly, they never have undercharged me. My guess -- they are intentionally ripping people off at the till. Not by alot, but enough for me to notice. I have brought it up and they fixed it, but this is offensive and insulting to customers, and it is quite pathetic. They claim their prices have gone up but have refused to update the menu -- a common excuse for overcharging. read more

I just went there yesterday with two frens plus myself 3 ppl for lunch,food taste not bad ,bryani rice not bad,but other dishes are very small portion & very PRICEY ,besides bryani quite gd portion. Imagine only one pcs of fish cost us $11.prefer the other management's food,thank gdness they are still at Austin road,their food taste much better,bryani lamb they are very generous with the meat. Okay, so this review is going to be a bit long, but PLEASE read it. There food is fine and I used to order from here ALL the time, despite their absolutely appalling customer service. I put up with their careless and disingenuous attitudes because food is the main thing I care about. But recently, the customer service has degraded to such a level that the straw broke the camel's back. Now what was this straw, you say? Let me preface this by saying, once again, that I used to be a long-time weekly customer, so the fact that he doesn't give a shit about me is more of a reason that he won't give the slightest shit about you. We ordered three pizzas and according to their menu the price for one is $14 and the price for two is $24. So we ordered three pizzas expecting any half responsible person to charge us 1($24)+1($14)= $38. Guess what? He charged us for three pizzas individually at $14 getting our bill increased by $5. It's a mistake... It happens, right? NOPE. He said that when we ordered, I quote "You ordered three pizzas, NOT 2 for 24 and 1 for 14". If that illogical logic wasn't enough, the cherry on top is that I, in fact, did say the 2 for 1 and the 1 singular pizza. Now, you might think it's about the $5. IT IS NOT. It was his adamant behavior, his complete dishonesty, and his inability to budge an inch for a long time customer on a completely logical AND truthful assumption that will stop me from ever going there. Add that to the amount of times he's messed up my order and there really isn't a reason to make me go back. So if they don't want to give a shit about their customers, fine. But if their customer service is detracting from their food, that's a problem. I don't really write yelp reviews and I feel that's the same for most people. But if their service was so absolutely PATHETIC, that it spurred me to write a review like this, you must realize how bad it had to be. read more

This place has the best pizza for the price. Amazing crust and toppings and only 5 bucks for a walk-in two topping small pizza. I haven't tried the Indian food here but it always smells amazing. If I had to say anything negative it would be the speed of your order and their debit machine acts up so pay cash. We eat here every week without disappointment! read more

I had the butter chicken which was AMAZING (and their special with naan bread and rice is only $9!) but my husband had their lamb curry and, although he said the taste was good, the lamb was so tough it was literally inedible! I have not even tried the pizza here, but the Indian food is incredible value for the price point. They do a proper vindaloo and some of the best pakoras I've had in a long time; flavours that rival some high end restaurants without the pretentiousness. Just like the previous review (Amber.G) I have given then proof, contacted my bank and spoken to one of the employees who told me that I should not be getting upset about $28.00!!!. I would of honestly continued to go back to this restaurant if they had just done the right thing and credited me.
