The room had complimentary waters but I had brought a pack and snacks for our "after pool party." just in case we needed more. The room itself is super spacious even with all of us in it meaning 8 people there was still so much room. The blackout blinds were truly black outty and the bathroom was really large and perfect for just me. The shower had good water pressure and made me feel nice and relaxed after hours in the sun. I brought my own blanket but didn't really need it the pillows were comfy even though I hoarded them from both beds, would definitely stay in room again. I felt safe on my own and just had the best time sleeping in AC.

At the time there were zero other cars in valet, yet two employees swarmed my car before I could even get out just to tell me nope because of a tier policy. I needed to valet just to be able to help my brother get inside safely, but they didn't care. It is ridiculous to expect me to leave him alone at the curb while I go hunt for a spot, especially when the handicap spaces in the structure are a massive trek from the door. We felt like a total burden to the staff and were not made to feel welcome at all. Terrible first impression, Definitely won't be back.

I was sitting two seats away from her, and two casino attendants were standing nearby, waiting for her to return. Out of curiosity, I approached the attendants to see what was happening and asked, "How much did she win?" smiling. The Latina girl turned around with a dirty look, , and the other, with long black hair tied up, responded with a stern face, "We don't disclose the amount," rudely and disrespectfully. Does she know how to say politely, kindly, "Sorry, ma'am, we don't disclose the amount"? Politely with respect? I am a regular customer who has been coming here for years and spends a lot of money. Her rude attitude is not acceptable in this kind of business. This isn't about policy; it's about mannerisms toward customers, which are unprofessional and unacceptable! This is a place where people come to enjoy and be entertained. Her nasty attitude needs to be corrected and trained. I reported this issue to their manager, who seems to be a distinguished African gentleman with glasses, and I hope he takes this matter seriously, reports it to management, and corrects this kind of disrespect and rudeness in this casino.

It is also a very beginner friendly course and a very walkable course if you don't want to rent a golf cart. Singing Hills Golf Club has a wonderful facility with plenty of parking, driving range, putting area, pro shop and restaurant on site.

We went over the contract thoroughly, eventually deciding that we would bring our own vendors (taquero, DJ, photographer, baker, event decorator, and 360 photo booth), as I have known many of these people for years and have an established, trusting relationship with most of them. Joseph said that was perfectly fine, the only service that we had to use from his side was the bartender, which my husband and I understood. During this meeting we also met his assistant Patty and were told that she would also be helping us through this process, but that he was always available, and we would have his complete attention the week of and leading to the day of our daughter's celebration. Part of our contract states that we were able to bring the supplies/decor/spirits to the venue the week of the quince. So, on May 4th, my family and I filled the event room with the decorations et al, that we would be using for the following Saturday, the 9th. Every single day, Monday through Friday that week, my mom and I were at the venue, sorting through boxes, opening packages, putting the cake table pieces together, setting up the candy bar, making sure that when the day of came, everything would be organized and ready for the staff to take out to decorate. Friday afternoon (5/8) we met with Patty to clarify all of this. But first let me elaborate a bit more... My family and I had informed Joseph and Patty that we would be bringing some salads, fruit/vegetable platters, and items for a nacho bar that would need to be set up before we arrived. Joseph explained that he did not have enough staff to help with that (8 people doing various jobs, still unsure of what) and that either myself or a friend/family member would need to come and get this ready because he could not accommodate this. We were so grateful that our BAKER, who is not employed by the venue, was able to help with this since she was also arriving early to bring the desserts for the cake table. More on that in a minute. When we arrived at the venue the day of the quince, it looked beautiful, the tables looked ready, centerpieces, runners, etc. then I started noticing that there was so much more missing, and my guests were already walking into the party space. For starters, I did not see hardly any staff in the party area and Patty was unfortunately running around like a madman. She was feverishly trying to set up the luminaries and LED pillars we had brought for the garden walkway. I also noticed that the fruit/veggie/nacho bar table was not set up. I ended up rushing to the clubhouse where all of this was being stored and took everything out of the refrigerator myself. I encountered a staff member on the way back who said to me, "Oh are you the mom? Oh let me know what you need help with." My mind was absolutely boggled. Did my family and I NOT just spend the entire week here and leave detailed instructions? And then... While carrying said fruit/vegetable trays, I walked by the tables to notice that there were not any "reserved" signs placed. We had asked for two tables to be held for the immediate family. I had mentioned this to one of the staff, I believe Lily (she was very lovely) and said she would get right on it. About 10 minutes later I saw that the signs were there, but what I learned the following week was that one of the tables already had guests sitting at it and they were promptly asked to move to another table. Sigh... And then... Once my husband and I were able to catch our breath, we grabbed a quick drink. Jason was our bartender, very kind and solid drinks. While we were at the bar, Joseph came up to talk to us, telling Jason that someone got sick in the bathroom and that he had to stop serving hard alcohol for an hour. Mind you, the bar has only been open about forty-five minutes, and no one has had any shots or is intoxicated. We all disagreed with this but had to oblige. By this time, we were falling behind schedule and had to do the main entrance. Then I realized that I had not seen my daughter in almost two hours, the sun was starting to set, and we did not take any pictures with her in this beautiful space because we had to do the jobs that we had hired this venue for. In the end: No pictures with our daughter in this space that cost half our budget Staff enjoyed our taquero without checking to make sure all of our guests had eaten Saw photos of Joseph and his staff enjoying our 360 photo booth Learned that 80% of my vendors experienced an unpleasant encounter with Joseph My guests were unsatisfied with parking/golf cart availability Not enough restroom signage Reports from vendors state as of 2pm, tablecloths weren't even on the tables.

But it's really when you get up to the room that is impressive; probably one of the nicer rooms that I've stayed in which a nice open area with a mini bar, desk and living room. The bedroom is in a separate room and much to my surprise, there was a special birthday setup on the bed for me (loved it!). And can't forget the extra large shower with rainfall faucet and all the amenities you would need. On to the spa. Amazing. While it's on the smaller side I had a great experience, from the attentive staff that made me feel welcomed to the massage and near-private hot tub/sauna/steam room and lovely pool area. It's adjacent to the regular hotel pool that you also have access to as well. If you get a service you can use the amenities all day with in and out privileges, such a nice relaxing day if you ask me. So while I'm limiting my review to the hotel and spa, the Viejas property has so much to do. The casino is a short walk from the hotel along with a variety of restaurants. The outlet mall is literally across the street and has a bingo hall and bowling and also had a seasonal skating rink. The golf course is also a drive down the road. She's been touring, releasing music/albums from then until now. She is known as the Philippines "Queen of Soul". Unmistakable and well-known voice. I liked the intimacy of the venue. We were in the first row of the 2nd section and our view was perfect. Staff was nice, ushering in patrons and helping locate their seats. The show pretty much started on time due to this. Very convenient access to the casino floor. Will be back if another performer makes a stop here.

PACKAGE DEALS This was overwhelming to understand. I just went with the flow of what everyone else was signing up for. Early Bird ($10) + 175 card ($40) + happy ball ($5) = adult fun with friends. DIGITAL VS. PAPER Next level Bingo! Received an iPad that basically does everything for you. The only action from you is type in your account number (received on your receipt after paying) and calling out "BINGO" if you win any of the games. Literally hands free and focus free - it's nice to eat, snack, try to whisper-converse amongst the group, do whatever. Yes, option to dab the paper oldskool if you like. FOOD AND DRINKS They don't tell you this but INSIDE the Bingo hall are free drinks (soda, coffee, water, etc.) . Don't buy drinks at the snack bar right outside before coming in.
