We have an old home and since the hurricanes in 2018 our fireplace had been leaking quite badly every time it rained. Grey evaluates our situation and gave honest recommendations. For example, he used the best material for repair but this requires a certain environmental temperature to set and become strong. He let us know the best time to do this was on a dry warm day, which was about 4 weeks from the time of our initial conversation. In the meantime, he came over to do a temporary prepaid to keep water out of our home - free of charge. His price for the actual repair was very reasonable as well. When Kevin arrived on time he explained what he was going to do and put down drop cloths and brought in his equipment. The cleaning was done from the fireplace to the top of the chimney. I do not use my wood-burning fireplace on a regular basis, but it had been seven years since it had been cleaned and desperately needed attention. He even removed the wood I had loaded for my next fire and then proceeded to remove the damper for access to the flu. Within a half an hour everything was done and there was no dust whatsoever in the house. He then proceeded to go up on the roof and check the top of the chimney and found that I had some cracks in the crown of the chimney. He took photographs and explained what needed to be done.
