This is the BEST donut shop in Orange County. I have been coming here for years and it never dissapoints. It is always fresh and my favorite thing is they have specialty croissants. Always a good time at Janny's. This is my favorite mom and pop style donut shop in Irvine. The staff are so warm and welcoming. This morning, the girl behind the counter walked me through some of their speciality flavors like the tiger tail and apple fritter. I ended up getting the tiger tail and it was HUGE and so tasty. It's like a cinnamon twist but even better, you gotta try it if you go. We finished our box up with a glazed old fashioned for me, and a glazed lemon filled donut and maple bar for my husband. The donuts and croissants the people at Janny's Donuts sell are incredibly delicious and better than junky donuts from Krispy Kreme and other restaurant chains which put a lot of sugar in their desserts. I was standing by the counter and then she said oh what is your order while everyone had already left and it was only my order and she was walking around trying to figure out what to do. This place advertises as being open at 4am. I've come twice between 4:10-4:15 and been sorely disappointed to find out the only options they have are glazed donuts. Look. I get it. I don't like waking up early either. But maybe you guys start your day at 5 so that you have more than one donut available at opening? I saw that Janny's had done custom donuts in a couple of previous reviews and reached out to them. I'm so glad I did! I threw a Pokémon party for my daughter, and these donuts were such a hit. A no frills family owned donut shop that always manages to satisfy my cravings. The bear claws they have here are massive and honestly can keep three people happy. I'd suggest you ordering any of their glazed donuts and steer away from the baked/caked donuts jf you're not a fan of denser donuts. Parking can be hassle during peak lunch time because the shop is located in a strip mall where people go in and out to get fast food and for siam station. read more

I am pretty sure I used to come here YEARS ago when I worked close by, and now that I am up here again, I have started coming again when I just need that donut on the way to work. The shopping center this is located in, can get crazy but early in the morning its pretty easy to get in and out. The staff here is so friendly, always. This place is my go-to when buying donuts for the office. They're open early and their donuts are amazing (from what I hear from my coworkers ;), and from a donut that I had tried). You can't go wrong with a mixed dozen (or two, or three). The ham & cheese jalapeno croissant is worth getting as well, this is my favorite place to get it. Delicious, cheesy, and enough jalapenos to warm up your taste buds. It's best to go in the morning when it's hot and fresh. If not, they can heat it up for you! Speaking of the morning, they open at 4AM, which is perfect for someone who works early like myself. The shop is located inside an office building with plenty of casual seating in the atrium. Although I walked, I heard many people getting their parking validated at the shop. The staff were very friendly, and the overall experience was A+. I had an iced oat latte and a pistachio cake, and both were excellent. I also brought my dog, which worked out perfectly. I will be coming back daily while I'm in Irvine.

The restroom is located in a separate building across the courtyard and watching people search for it can be mildly entertaining LOL It is a nice place to work with plenty of natural light and a wonderful patio for enjoying nice weather. I just wish the drinks were a little better. But because of the convenient location I will probably try it again. Maybe Ill try something iced?
