About a 2-2.5: Mona's Gourmet Carry Out seems to be a local favorite for Korean and your typical deli eats. They also have various specials and half portions as well. We came here for an early lunch and ordered: +a Royal Cheese Steak - with no green peppers and mushrooms; opted for the provolone, onions, and mayo; this came with a side of fries; someone noted that this was one of the best cheesesteaks in the state; honestly, it was just 'okay' and comparable to any other delis; the bread could have been better; the best part were the fresh-out-of-the-fryer crinkle cut fries +a Beef Bulgogi - half portion special - this came with a bowl of white rice and a little cup of kimchi; we didn't know that fried rice or brown rice was an option; the bulgogi was not savory enough and was more on the bland side; the kimchi had an off-putting smell and was way past the 'ripened' stage; I was surprised that the fried dumplings weren't included, as others have had it as part of their combo +Yookgaejang - spicy soup with veggies, vermicelli noodles, and shredded beef; I thought the broth was lacking, but it definitely had a kick to it Service was friendly, and there were seating inside. There seems to be a lot of call-aheads for to-go orders. Parking is available in a small lot on the side of the building. +friendly service +parking available on the side of the building

Food is always great! Both the Korean and American menu are delicious. Renovated last week so much brighter.

Mona's Gourmet is a heart-warming community feeding establishment. Their Korean cuisine is impeccable. They're always personable and kind to everyone that comes in. I have had the Beef Bulgogi with white rice. My all time favorite is definitely the Galbi with white rice and kimchi.

I read the reviews and decided to stop in. It was good. Honestly I've had better cheesesteak and fried rice. The mandu was good as well. With that said I will recommend and go back

I've been a customer for more than 15 years , Mona has the best flavored beef bulgulgi this side of the country . It's marinated and seasoned to perfection and served with rice , please try this gem of a place .

Best Korean food in the area, spicy pork bulgulgi & cheesesteaks my favorite but there is much much more. Large portions and an extensive, but not a too much going on type of menu. This place has been here for years and very well known locally.

My favorite hole-in-the-wall place for Korean food. WOW! You would never guess it from the outside but this place has lots of Korean food and it is delicious. It's also way cheaper than a normal Korean restaurant and the portions are large. The staff is so nice. The service is incredible. I would come back here any day any time just because of how wonderful the people here are. I felt very cared for and they were so friendly. Even though it's a carry out place, there's lots of room to sit inside. It's pretty clean and comfy. The food tasted great and authentic so I can't think of a better place for Korean food at these prices, portions, and flavor. Overall, amazing experience and I will be back! It is cash only so bring cash!!

Small "mom & pop" style eatery in Odenton. Friendly service and good food. I had seen them many times while in the area but my son's classmate is the granddaughter of the owner and he actually prompted me to give them a try. Positive experiences each time I frequented. The owner Mona is a sweetheart and will give samples of new dishes, greet customers and even helps prepare dishes. I can attest that their Korean dishes are authentic and on point. Strong recommendation to call your order in during peak times for pick up. Cash only for payment. Street parking and along the side of the building. Be forwarned that Annapolis Rd is a busy area for exiting into traffic.

I was referred to this place by a coworker. She had purchased the seaweed. I tried it and it was good. So basically l just came here for that only. I checked out some of the previous reviews on Yelp and saw one of my Yelp friends had ordered the steak and cheese. So l said why not give it a try. I asked for it with fries. The cashier said there was something going on with the grease. So l said ok. Not exactly sure what that meant but l wasn't trying to find out either. So l said can l just have a sandwich. He stated yes. You know l have a real problem with a restaurant/ Carryout that blocks out all the prices on the menu. That way they can charge whatever they want. I gave him a twenty he gave me back $7.80. Now l don't mind spending money but that's pretty expensive for just a steak and cheese sub. Now the steak was good but so is a lot of other places around here and they don't charge nearly $12.00 for a sandwich only. Under those circumstances and until they place prices so that the customers can see what it is they are being charged. I won't be ordering any more food from here. They can at least get a to go menu. I would probably just stop in to get the bag of seaweed only. At least they displayed the price of that. Please display your prices for your customers.

The table behind me said they saw something too. I told the server, Andrew and he offered to give us a discount and admitted to having a mouse issue lately. That should have been the warning sign for me but we just got our food. I kept looking over and I didn't see anything but Andrew placed the broom and dust pan near where the mouse was. So I got up to get some cream puffs and as I about to sit down, the mouse came back and I told Andrew and he got the broom and dust pan and caught the mouse and killed it and proceeded to have us pay. This is what really ticked me off. I went to the front before we left and asked to speak to a manager. The girl looked and then looked over at her friend (who probably wasn't the manager) and said here she is. I told her what happened and she said "yeah sorry, we have someone coming next week and he didn't kill the mouse, he let the mouse go right outside". SERIOUSLY? That mouse is coming right back inside! This is a problem that pest control needs to come out IMMEDIATELY! I just watched a mouse get killed/caught while trying to eat! I stopped and lost my complete appetite. I will be informing the PG county health department immediately and I will never come back here if this is how they operate. The "manager" clearly was more focused on closing and getting out at 10:30pm (they close at 11pm).

In the door the place was clean and well lit. Our server was attentive to us in the very beginning b I t did decline. Menu choices to me were a little odd to include everything is ala carte, you dont even get rice with a meal. We were a party of 8 so we all ordered something different. For me the food lacked flavor and the fried beef was like eatting beef Jerry. We had some children with us who dont eat with chop sticks and getting regular utensils seemed difficult. Our server filled our waters in the beginning but that was it, after that finding her for anything was not happening. Finally, they attached a automatic gratuity which i have an issue with, I am a great tipper but if service sucks then it should be my decision on how much to tip.
