On the way back from downtown, decided to stop here because one of their options sounded very good. There is parking but not many spots however the location was not super busy. It definitely had patrons though. The person in front ordered like 5 meals so that made me think if I should try two options instead of one. I came pretty hungry. I ordered the chicken pesto panini. OMG! It was so, so good. I wish it was bigger but the one was very satisfying. I got the combo for an extra $4.99. For about $16 with the tip, not bad. Although I should've avoided the fries, those were also good. The sauce they give you, not sure what it is, but I used it all. Ambience- 3 stars Pretty generic, but clean. Food 1 star We ordered three meals and I tasted the following: Gyro was ok nothing special and very bland Falafel flavorless and dry Fries not crispy and somewhat greasy Chocolate chip cookie Dry and flavorless Baklava was pretty good. The portions are pretty decent sized here! Pricing is reasonable, too. I got the Jasmin platter with chicken, Greek salad, and falafel. The falafels were extraordinary. Salad was a little too oily for me. It also came with pita and I got hot sauce. The hot sauce goes well with the falafel but doesn't taste too Mediterranean. The chicken was dry and overcooked to the point of being jerky. The so-called salad was just a pile of oil with maybe a hint of paprika (but honestly, it just tasted like straight-up oil). The hummus? Disgusting. It was weirdly smooth, completely saltless, and had the flavor of watery paste. The tzatziki was a chunky, mayonnaise-heavy disaster. As for the pita, it was obviously store-bought--stale and lifeless. The toppings were laughable: **one** olive, **one** slice of tomato, and **one** sliver of cucumber. That's it. You order are the food bar and they prepare it and then you pay at the other end of the counter and your food magically appears. Lots of tables for eating in but it would appear that most of the food is takeout. Modern open and bright interior with ample parking. I had the Gyro plate and a side of tabouli. We lived in the area for two years until 2023, and recently had a 3-day trip back to the area. We ate at Jasmin & Olivz twice during those three days, because it is just that good. Their wraps and bowls are just delicious. The Jasmin chicken is very flavorful, and there's no end to the combos that can be made with their variety of sauces, proteins, and veggies. I'm just sad there aren't any up in the DC area! Service is always efficient, and the restaurant itself is good for dining in. Casual, with a Chipotle feel. So this is a weird review, but hear me out. I went to Jasmin back in February or so and had a lamb bowl thing. Don't ask me why - I don't normally care for lamb at all, so that was a bust. But everything else in the bowl was also a bust (chickpeas, rice, whatever...not at all memorable). Today, we had Jasmin catered for lunch at my work. It was absolutely amazingly delicious! - Nice, fresh Greek salad - Hummus and pita (pita could have been crispier, but still good) - Chicken and steak: both were super tender and well-seasoned - Sauteed veggies: a little oily, but good - Rice with lentils: wowza, the seasoning was perfect So I'm not really sure how to go about returning. The 4 stars is definitely for their catering. If I go back, I'd definitely defer to the chicken, hummus, salad, and rice with lentils...assuming they sell that combo as a meal.
