We were warmly greeted right away by our hostess, Ren, who set the tone for an exceptional experience. The table was beautifully set with placemats, and they even placed our napkins in our laps--such a thoughtful touch. Everything was clean and welcoming. We ordered our beverages and dishes, and everything came out quickly. The food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were spot on. We had the Pad See Ew and Panang Curry. I highly recommend checking this place out. Would not recommend at all. Extremely small portions, e.g. I only got 4-5 small, thin pieces of chicken in my dish, it was also too salty. I was still hungry after eating the dish which is unacceptable after paying over $20. Since then I have visited other chinese restaurants in the area which gave me regular, much larger portions with plenty of meat for lower prices. I brought all of this to the restaurant's attention but every time I called they said the manager was unavailable and I never heard back from any manager. One person said they would get back to me but never did, another person just said this is their standard portion size. read more

As I said on the checkin, first time here. The inside is fixed up nicely and looks very clean out front. There is a small stage that's set up for a guitar player who comes in and sings, not sure on the time or day of the music but it may be nice to add to the ambiance they have going here I ordered the W6 sweet and sour with chicken, which in this sweet and sour it's the sliced grilled chicken not the breaded fried chicken. The taste was good but unfortunately this dish had a lot more veggies and a little chicken. The rice they give you is a very small baby box, not the normal amount you get from other places, so this was a little disappointing that there was not more rice and chicken. I also ordered the Pad See Eww with chicken. This also had a great taste and did have a lot more chicken, basically the amount that should have been in the sweet and sour. They also give you two egg rolls and a salad with your order whether you eat in or take out, but don't get too excited about the salad, it's a large container stuffed with regular lettuce, with 3 cranberries, 1 cherry tomato, 3 spinach leaves and a few shredded carrot strips as a side for the lettuce. I had two meals so there were two salads made exactly the same. To me that seems to be the additional $4 charge on the me menu inside versus what you find online. Based on taste, and quickness of food coming out, I give this a solid 4 stars. It could have been a 5 if the portion of rice and chicken would have been better. At last, we found an Asian restaurant in henderson that we love. This hip spot has Chinese, Thai & sushi. What a warm welcome with a bow as I walked in to pick up my take out. There was live music as well. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. The food was outstanding! I think we are going back again tonight but this time we'll dine in to enjoy the live music. There's a cheaper version apparently, which I was trying to order, but the lady up sold us saying that this was 16oz and juicer than the cheaper 14oz counterpart. This was not 16oz of steak. It was very thin, came WELL DONE and dry. Sauce was good though. - Chicken satay $13. I have nothing to say about this because it tastes like any other chicken satay I've ever had before. We love Thai food and this just wasn't good at all. Literally everything we ordered tasted the same (like pure sugar) everything was sooooo sweet and lacked authentic flavor. This was an amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and attentive. A co-worker and I were searching for a place that would meet our dietary needs as well as provide good flavor when we happened to see Jasmine Rice. We walked in and were immediately greeted, warmly, with a bow. The overall feel was of a high-end bar/restaurant that would still allow you to relax and let your hair down. We were informed that some evenings they have a live band. We asked for Thai Teas and if they'd use coconut milk and they didn't bat an eyelash. The Panang Curry was so flavorful! I ordered it at a spice level of 3, and it was a pleasant, sweet yet medium spicy balance. Come check this place out. You will not be disappointed. Top Thai restaurant in The Anthem area, always a consistent solid meal. We normally have the red curry but tried the green one tonight good flavor right amount of spice 1-5 we chose a 3. Coconut milk accentuated the flavors. Salt and pepper shrimp was delicious. The Tom kha soup was probably one of the best I've had! Also really liked the mango salmon red curry. Spicy level was 1-5 and we picked 2, which I think was a true spice level and not a Thai spice level. I enjoyed the entertainment! It makes for a nice date night. I had some wine too but the wine is fairly expensive for a glass ($18 for meiomi!) Their service was great and it feels like they do try to make it feel upscale with little touches such as putting your table napkin on your lap or boxing your takeout for you. UPDATE: - I received a response from Jasmine Rice shortly after I left this review asking me to remove my review. They stated there was an issue with the kitchen and were thus unable to open today. That's fine but what is a poor reflection on management is, there was NO posted notice at the business or online (except online ordering ) stating they were closed. One of us had green curry which he said was delightful. She ordered jasmine rice as a side for the table. I ordered the prik king which was good but nothing I would get again. I believe the string beans separated where there was actual strings that were impossible to chew and hard to swallow. Another had the pad Thai which he said was very good. Local spot that's got decent food and live music. My mom and my aunt love coming here and ordering a bottle of wine because of the atmosphere and the singer. He'll sing songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The food is good too. But it's definitely a restaurant you'd enjoy most by dining in. Take out would miss the entertainment. Christmas eve. Keeping up a longstanding Jewish tradition, Asian food is a must. We called in our order, asking for curbside pick up. No problem. I went with the Panang ($12). You get to choose your protein (I went with chicken) and your level of spiciness (I chose 2 - which has a bit of a bite for a gringo palate). There is a huge amount of broth. It comes with a separate very large side of rice (chose white or brown). Overall, portion size more than a reasonable hungry person should eat for dinner (yes, I finished it - it's Christmas eve!). Gave Jasmine Rice a try, I am so glad we did! This is a Thai and Chinese cuisine restaurant. South LV does not have many Asian restaurants that are delicious and beautiful inside. The service is impeccable, the food presentation was artistic and the entertainment was a nice touch. I have been to many places that have live entertainment and it is difficult to have a conversation due to the music, but at Jasmine Rice it was a lovely touch to the tasty food and beautiful atmosphere. First time service was very slow even though there were only two other tables occupied by customers, but given the ambience of the restaurant, the awesome live music, the friendliness of staff and the good food we decided to return. Second experience, same as above, except this time the service was deplorably slow. Other tables of customers, based on comments we heard, were also complaining about the lack of service. I spent many years in the restaurant business and place blame on the management/ownership for the lack of personnel on staff. Trying to control costs by reducing labor is shortsighted. I can't believe it took us this long to check out this cute find back in Anthem! We love coming here to listen to live music and enjoy friendly staff who remember out little one and our order. We enjoy the vegetarian/vegan menu and the food we order is made to our liking! I like to get the tofu pad thai and also the glass noodle vegetable soup. Their fresh rolls are delicious and tasty and even come out on a beautify set up. We loved Jasmine Rice when it was in the Anthem Center, but the new location is even Better!!! First of all, the staff are all so kind and helpful. They treat you like family. The Food is so good and clean, meaning it doesn't feel heavy like some other Thai places. Pick your level of Spicy 1-5. Our favorite is the live music. I think it might be just on the weekends, but there is a man who sings mellow favorite hits we all know and love and you can tell he loves what he does. Go see for yourself. We have been going to Jasmine Rice for many years, but last night was the first time we dined at the new location. The decor is clean and elegant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The guitar player got a larger area, his music is always very pleasant. We were greeted upon entering and escorted to our lovely table. The service was efficient and attentive. For appetizer we had the Shumai: 4 delicious dumplings filled with a combination of ground shrimp, chicken, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and water chestnut. My Shrimp Pad Thai was delicious, juicy and the portion was very large. My husband Roasted Duck was tender and flavorful also. The restaurant was pretty busy and there was a nice vibe! read more
