The Food was really good and the people were nice. If I lived here I'd definitely eat here again.

Great spicy level! Customer service was fast and staff communicated well for dietary restrictions. This is a great spot to grab a bit for lunch for a family. Not many places in Pike Place have high chairs and plenty of seating options, so this is a nice spot to get away from the fast paced energy of Pike Place Market but still be in it.

Not bad, not great. Definitely better that waiting in a long line for a bowl of chowder. We tried the pad see ew and red curry chicken. I thought the pad see ew was a bit greasy. The curry was decent. We ordered them a 2 on a scale of 4 for spiciness. I will give them credit for the spiciness, 2 on the Thai scale was on the spicy side!

Decided to try this place for lunch and thought it was ok. It's not that easy to find but it's close to Rachel's ginger beer. I got the pad Thai with chicken. For $9, you get a pretty generous portion but the food was just ok. You basically just get noodle and chicken and a little of peanut and bean sprouts and that's it. The flavor is subtle but it's there. Overall, a decent place in pike place if you're craving for thai food. The menu is pretty limited as well and just have some of the common thai food.

Ordered the pad kee Mao aka drunken noodles, medium spice level 2. This was the first time I've had this dish with super thin rice noodles so I'm not sure if that's normal. But it was good, hit the spot while sipping ginger beer cocktails next door. Staff was nice and food came out quickly.

The owner was really nice and let us order even though they were closing. Came here a second time and got the pad kee mow - so tasty !

    Lunch: Garlic Chicken.

Located in Post Alley across the hallway from Rachel's Ginger Beer, I saw a little Thai spot so I thought I would try it for lunch. Saw that they had some lunch specials and also quite affordable so I got the Garlic Chicken. Order at the counter, go sit down, they will bring it out to you style. It was ok, it is freshly cooked so it's served super hot and comes with 2 scoops of rice. They do go pretty heavy handed on the spice level and I got 2 stars and it was pretty spicy causing them sweat beads on my forehead. The chicken was good, veg was mainly celery(not a fan), carrots, onion and a few pieces of broccoli. Ehhh......it was just ok in my opinion. Portions for lunch: half the paper plate is your entree, other half is rice. Dont forget to clear your own table.

The boat noodles delivered: generous toppings, rich broth, and a really great depth of flavor. This dish alone is worth coming back for. Unfortunately, the chicken dishes let the meal down. The roasted chicken was dry and came out lukewarm instead of hot, which was disappointing. The Hainanese chicken rice had the same issue -- the white meat was bland and lacked the tenderness/flavor you'd expect from a proper Hainan chicken. The atmosphere is fun and festive (loved the string lights and the market-stall vibe), and the space fills up fast, so I'd recommend going early or expect a wait. Bottom line: Stick to the noodle dishes here -- the boat noodles are the standout. I'd skip the chicken plates until they improve on temperature and seasoning.

We scanned the electronic menu at the front, ordered, then got water at the self-serve station. We beat the lunch crowd so we had plenty of tables to choose from. The bright and cheery decor had nice ambiance and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My hubs ordered the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, one of his favorite dishes to order at a Thai restaurant. It was huge and came in a big, wide bowl. He enjoyed the flavor of the yellow curry and building heat of this dish. Make sure to get a steak knife at the front counter so you can cut the meat from the chicken drumstick (if you're not biting into it). Also, if you are a spice lightweight like me, this is not your dish. But if you enjoy spice and curries, you will enjoy this dish. I got the E-Jae House Noodle with chicken and no egg. Wow, their handmade rice noodles were amazing! So soft, tender, and kinda ropey. I loved the texture and taste of this dish. The sauce was light and complimented the noodles, chicken, green onions, and cilantro. It's so great to eat a restaurant dish that isn't too salty or saucy! It comes with a side of chili sauce which I didn't use, but if you like spice, I am sure it was good. We ended our meal by sharing a small order of the Mango Sticky Rice. It was delightful. The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was delicious, and it was topped with little crispies which we found out later was fried mung beans. A great ending to a great meal. We will definitely be back!

PHAD SEE EIW - 16.50 + chicken This is my go-to dish at Thai restaurants since it's always a reliable option. Kin Len was no different. The noodles were soft and chewy, with a nice balance of savory and sweet flavors. They also don't skimp on the chicken or Chinese broccoli, which made this a pretty satisfying portion. BATTERED CHICKEN RED CURRY - 17.75 Wow! I'm not usually a fan of fried foods, but the batter on the chicken was surprisingly light and flaky. The red curry was incredibly savory and aromatic, with a ton of flavor. Even after sitting for about half an hour, the chicken held up pretty well despite becoming a bit soggy. This was incredibly tasty, and I'd highly recommend, especially since it's one of the dishes they're known for. Between the two dishes, this was more than enough food for two people, and I know my friend can eat! We probably would've been OK ordering just the battered chicken red curry, but I'm definitely not complaining about leftovers. The portions and pricing at Kin Len are both very reasonable, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the Fremont area.
