The service experience was among the worst I've had at a restaurant. We ordered drinks while sitting in the bar area, and after waiting about 10 minutes, only one drink arrived. When I went to the bar to ask about the second drink, I was told they didn't have all of the ingredients to make it. No one had informed us before then. Our food arrived, but there were no plates, napkins, or cutlery, so we had to ask for those after the food was already on the table. I ordered a different drink to replace the unavailable one, but that never arrived either. Once we finished eating, our dirty plates sat on the table for quite some time. Even requesting the check required repeated follow-up. When the bill finally arrived, it was incorrect and had to be corrected. Despite the multiple service failures--including charging incorrectly and never delivering the replacement drink--there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issues. As a former restaurant manager, I understand that every restaurant can have an off day. However, what stood out most was the lack of attention to guests. The service team frequently gathered around the bar while tables waited for basic needs. I would encourage management to review the restaurant's service sequence and guest service standards, as the current approach is not sustainable. This location also faces strong competition, particularly Din Tai Fung, where guests are consistently made to feel welcome and the service is attentive, professional, and exceptional. We had a mixed experience. The service was great and the two servers were working their tails off. The ambiance is nice with cute decorations throughout, but the tables near the front have very little separation between you and people sitting on benches on the other side of the short wall, which is a bit awkward. The food was mixed with the Thai tea and spring rolls being tasty, but my house noodles with tofu was so much spinach and so few noodles I thought they had brought out a salad by mistake. It was not particularly flavorful either unfortunately and I left hungry with the portion size. My partner had an equally meh experience with his entree. I unfortunately wouldn't really recommend or come back based on what we had and what else I know is in the mall. read more

First of all, the 2 stars is mainly for their service and management. We made a reservation at 6 PM since we had a larger party and when we got there they said someone called in and canceled our reservation. We were so confused and when we asked who called, they couldn't give a name. Pretty sure they just gave our table away to accept more customers. They were pretty rude and we waited an extra 45 min for our table the food came out pretty quick and i ordered the crying tiger. the meat was nice and tender but the sticky rice was very hard to eat. you have to use a knife to cut it. overall i think they need to improve their service and management read more

Solid Thai food in an unassuming mall location! I was hungry and needed something to eat close by, and figured I'd give Seng Tong a try. Very nice servers in a cute location! I was in town for a quick business trip and didn't have time for a lengthy meal but I wanted something hot and filling. This Thai restaurant fit the bill! It is on the 4th level of the Pacific Place shopping plaza along with a few other great looking food options. The food was great - I ordered a curry to go. This restaurant is located inside Pacific Place alongside a few other restaurants. The yellow curry was good and the portions were reasonable! Usually the restaurant seems like there is plenty of space. However, I think they are easily overwhelmed if there is a large number of customers such as during events at the convention center. The time we went, it took a long time for anyone to take our name down for the waitlist, and once we were seated, it took a long time for our waitress to come by. Given the lack of service and amount of time it took to get our food, I'm giving it 3 stars; but perhaps it would be better on a less busy day. read more

What a delightful surprise to discover in a shopping mall! The interior is cool, clean, and a beautiful and gentle atmosphere. Service is prompt and accommodating. You can watch the owners prepare your meal at the back of the restaurant. Food portions are extremely generous and thus, inexpensive. The two of us split an appetizer and two entrees and were pleasantly full. The dishes: - fresh garden rolls with prawn. These were beautifully presented and absolutely delish. Fresh veggies and perfectly cooked prawns. The surprise was a warm peanut sauce dip! Unbelievable! - phad Thai with fried tofu. Tasty, with large chucks of tofu and veggies and peanuts to mix to your own taste. It could have been a tad warmer, but the flavors were good. - green curry with beef and eggplant. The sauce was unctuous and flavorful. Eggplant and beef perfectly cooked. Could have used a bit more of it though. The accompanying rice was fragrant. We ordered spice level 3, and could have gone up to a 4. The server kindly brought us small portions of chili sauces to mix in. I'll go back again, and remember to bring a large appetite! read more

The restaurant service was incredibly poor and the food was not that great. Stood at the entrance to be sat as a party of one for 5min as servers were walking by, once at the table I waited for 15min before someone came to take a drink order and this was the only drink that was offered while I was there. I ordered a prawn wrap and the pictures on the website or other reviews was not what came out, they came out with whole lettuce leafs sticking out the top with minimal filling, sadly this was the best tasting part of the meal, the main noodle dish I ordered tasted like old oil, the noodles were just a complete glob stuck on the plate and vegetables were not fully cooked. The chicken was the only thing that tasted ok on the whole plate. Between the lack of service and quality of the food I honestly can say I will not be back, there are better places for your money. read more

Friends and I went here during the day of the Hanabie concert and it was a decent one! This is inside Pacific Place, which is in downtown, which is relatively notorious for lack of quick-to-find parking. Seating inside the restaurant was relatively quick, the interior was clean and service was fast and simple. I was always able to ask for water quickly when needed, and man did I need some even after the dishes I ordered... I got the beef phad see ew with a side of Thai iced tea with coconut, and requested my noodles to be a 4-star spice. I definitely did feel the heat from the dish which was expected, so the Thai tea really did help! Spice aside, portions here are decent though I did want it to be slightly bigger since the flavors really worked together! Overall, a nice and quick place to get Thai food in downtown if you're looking for something quick to get before or after events or movies! read more

Our server came by a little while later to take our order and also share that the fryer was broken so we couldn't order several of the appetizers. I ordered the crab fried rice and my colleagues got the green curry with chicken and the cashew delight with pork along with a papaya salad. Everyone enjoyed their food but I don't recall seeing our server again after ordering as someone else brought the food. Another server came around once we were done and offered a refill on water. However the service was quite slow all around and the lunch ended up dragging out quite long. They took a long time to take our order and then took awhile to take our credit card when we were done eating. I got the pad see ew with chicken and thought it was decent but maybe could be improved. It was a little salty but I think it was missing some flavors to make it pop. Maybe it needed a very slight hint of sweetness to offset the salty. read more

Formerly Thai Ginger, this place was not bad. I believe Thai Ginger had served slightly more for their meals. I went here today with some work colleagues and really loved their duck noodle soup! Due to the weather, I was not planning on getting soup, but they had a bit of a draft where we were at so it was pretty chilly! It took a while to get our food tho, I think there were only 2 servers present. Thai Ginger had a spice tray and this place had removed it. So if you want extra spice for your dish, they will give you a small sauce container of chilly flakes/spice mix. Not bad for the location at Pacific Place! read more

Update: the rude waitress found my social media and is harassing me. I will seek police action if she doesn't leave me alone. It's *crazy* work that after everything she did, she reached out insulting my friend and challenging/threatening me to "come say it to her face"?!! ... this review would've been very different even after the harassment had she just apologized instead of continuing to fight, I don't feel safe because of her now. The Asian waitress with the long ponytail was very rude since we arrived for no reason. We weren't greeted, we didn't get water refills from her, she gave us rude looks, and she filled all of our drinks to the top with ice. We were nice to her, cleaned up our own dishes and table before we left, and were very low maintenance customers- not that any customer deserves that treatment. She needs some customer service training or a new job. No tip deserved there. The food was amazing, and the guy in the back (manager?) who kept telling her to come to us or coming himself to do it for her was very sweet. I have been to this place a couple times now and both times have been really good! I came here once before a show at the Paramount, it is walkable. Because there is a popular place nearby, this establishment doesn't seem to get the praise it deserves. For that reason too, it is hardly ever crowded. We love a lesser known gem. The service has been friendly. But what I really have enjoyed most is the food! The broccoli beef is my favorite I've found in Seattle. The beef is quality and tender and the seasoning is light but flavorful! It comes with a big portion of rice as well. Enough for leftovers to enjoy another round. The cashew nut chicken was very flavorful and Pad Thai was good too. They put so much chicken in the coconut soup that it is very heavy. I can only finish half of the portion for one meal. When I picked up the order, they forgot to have me the drink I ordered together. I noticed that when I got home. So I called back and they said I can go back for that drink. Swimming Rama was EXCELLENT! Spinach and broccoli were steamed perfectly. Tofu was plentiful and peanut sauce was amazing. It's been a long time since I've had Swimming Rama this good. I have a very happy tummy. The Pad See Ew had a very strong soy sauce flavor; not at all sweet. Our waitress took our extra food away to package it for us and gave me some extra peanut sauce at my request. A terrific experience. read more
