I have another plumber who wanted to charge $650 to repair the problem, and I know he would have charged me even if he couldn't fix it or if the problem disappeared. So I found Jason on Google and texted him to just go out to the property and take a look. Jason actually wanted to troubleshoot the problem, and me being an engineer I appreciate that instead of just jumping into replacing something, which is what the other guy wanted to do, he wanted to troubleshoot and find out exactly what was wrong. Jason spent some time going to the store picking up a pressure gauge and installing it on the putside faucet. He then instructed the tenant to flush the toilets at different times of the day, just to see if they can hear the noise they heard again. So the tenants supposedly never heard the noise again, even though they were complaining about it for a while, and I told Jason to send me a bill for his time and for the parts. Jason actually refused to invoice me because he said he didn't really provide the real solution, so therefore he cannot charge me. I insisted that he at least charged me for an hour And for the parts comma but He still hasn't sent me the bill. From the way he was describing with the problem wasn't how to troubleshoot it, I know he's an old school experienced plumber who's not going to replace parts willy-nilly. The fact that you wouldn't charge because he didn't really find the problem, since it went away on its own, tells me he's an honest person with integrity and is not looking out there to make a quick buck. Jason came to our rescue! We've noticed a very faint gas leak coming from our fireplace key valve for quite some time and my husband finally decided to call the gas company to check it. Well, he called them at 4 PM on a Friday and we quickly learned that may not have been the best idea. They shut off all of our gas and locked us up until the small leak was fixed! Not only is it hard to find a plumber who works on gas lines (about 9/10 plumbers do not do this), it's also tough to get someone out on a weekend Jason came as a referral from our chimney cleaning company and he was incredible. He came out same day (on a Saturday) to take a look and then was able to fix it on Monday/Tuesday. The best part? He was able to fix it by just removing one block from the wall (our beloved 1960s slump block wall that is one of my favorite walls in the house) and he even repaired the masonry afterwards! He literally went to a local shop and picked out the closest looking thing to slump block and made it look as good as new. WE ARE THRILLED! Our guest bathroom in our newly acquired home in Laveen, Az had a shower handle that would. It turn enough to get to the hot water. After checking on Next Door App asking neighbors who they recommend in this area several mentioned Jason the Plumber. Checked them out in Yelp. Looked good. Called him and got the owner. Told him the problem he was very knowledgeable about the Moen Bath Faucet and its potential issues. Quoted his $95 fee and what a part and installation would be in whichever direction we needed to go. He was out promptly in the morning. VERY polite and professional. He replaced the cartridge inside the faucet part that is in the wall. He showed me the damage from the old one and what it should look like. My daughter, Lydia, recently became a new home owner in Laveen. On Sunday evening, she called me panicked about sudden sewer waste coming through her shower. He responded very quickly and showed up within 30 minutes. He was very courteous and explained what he was doing along the way. The guys at Jason the Plumber were fantastic! I called them Saturday after we noticed our water heater was leaking and they came out and gave us a really great quote. The next day was Super Bowl Sunday and they sounded very busy but they still were able to fit us in and they completed the job in a couple of hours with plenty of time to spare so we could enjoy the game. They replaced our water heater with a new unit, installed a pan, and they even fixed and painted the area the leak had damaged. Called at 845am after my original choice on yelp suggested him due to service area restrictions of his own. The gentleman who answered took down my name, number and address and stated he had another job on the morning but would head my way after - calling first to give me a 30 minute window. It's after 8pm and still haven't heard from him to even state he couldn't make it today. Disappointed and a bit irritated I have to waste another day waiting on a different plumber. I should have gotten a quote prior to the repairs, but since he had been fair in the past I wasn't concerned. I was charged 480.00 for a small amount of work. This company charges a trip charge for each individual piece of work. I won't be using them again. read more

Jason and his staff where extremely helpful. When i called i spoke with Maria and Anthony and they answered my questions. I spoke with Jason 2 times over the phone. I explained to him my pluming situation (water heater not working)I told him i would provide the water heater and that he quoted me a price that included replacing the unit and the parts. It was vet reasonable and affordable. They asked me if my situation was an emergency, i told them i would like it done as soon as possible but was flexible. Jason told me to call him once i pick up my 50 gallon water heater. Once i picked it up i gave him a call and he said he would call me the next day with an ETA. The next day he called me at 130pm ish and arrived at my house Around 2pm. He explained to me what he was going to do and why. He answered all of my questions and before he started he went over my options again. Within 2 hours maybe less i had hot water again! I was planning on disposing my old water heater myself but Jason had it loaded on his work truck all ready and would haul it himself!!! Other plumbers charge for the haul of the old unit. I needed a water heater replaced but I really kinda wanted something better then what I had, which was a stock 50Gal Electric bradford white. Good unit, but nothing extraordinary. I started a spreadsheet to evaluate about a dozen plumbing outfits. After some online research I dropped this to just five. Jason won and I am very pleased with the results. It took a while to get a hold of some one, however after about a month of back and forth they were able to help me find exactly what I wanted. Once that was take care of and the supplier issues were resolved (I wanted something special) they were able to move things around and schedule me for just a few days out and installed a very nice hybrid heat pump unit for under half of what any one else was quoting. Good: 1) They will work with you to get you exactly what you want. 2) They do quality work and have some kind of warranty, though I suspect I will not be using it. 3) They are seriously worth the price! On the base unit I was looking at they were 15% - 30% cheeper then competitors. On the higher end unit I had installedJason was %55 cheeper. Mind you the competitor assured my their $3500 unit had a lifetime warranty while the one I got with Jason only has only a 12 -17 year warranty depending on what fails, but I am probably going to move in 5-10 years so that was OK with me. 4) Honest ! So I am not a total noob, and some companies I was looking at where telling me so much BS about how they need to do this and that for code and that was total BS. I know because I know the code, but also I know codes changed so I went and looked it up and code had not changed. But not Jason, Jason's office manager Twila told me everything she new and when she did not know she checked with one of the plumbers or suppliers or looked it up her self. And another was like - oh we will need to rip out all of this and re-drywall and re-paint and rebuild this platform etc. While, in all truth, this is not bad advice, a quick cavity probe showed it was completely unnecessary. And the price for this extra work absolutely outrageous. 5) Quality. One thing I notices is that it was just really well done. And while flex pipe is allowed, and one of the competitors I had out to give me a quote mocked the coper flex line I had because they only use "high quality" aluminum flex line, Jason hard piped it. He took the time to hard pipe / solder coper on every thing but the condensate lines, which was awesome! Not only does it look good it will last! 6) He did not complain about the cramped work space and cleaned up everything when he was done. 7) They never hard sell you. One competitor gave me the whole You need to accept this quote now or DOOM speech and most of them insisted on phone conversations where they would hard sell you. I mostly delt with Twila the office manager and she just worked with me to find an option I liked. Bad: 1) It was hard to get ahold of them. I sent a generic quote request and had to send a second one before I got a response 2) They don't communicate by email - I know this is common for all of them but I really prefer email to actually talking to people. read more

Jason is GREAT!!!! Called him when we had foundation leak. I called him up and he came out and looked at he everything told us what to do and we did. He found the leak and the got it fixed fast. He did not charge a bucket load of money.
