First the pros: the staff was curteous, the food was prepared quickly. The cons: you have to order over $20 in order for delivery, and even then there is a $5 delivery fee added to your order. I had phoned in an order and went in to pick it up seeing as they wouldn't deliver. When I arrived my food was ready so I was in and out quickly. I got home to find out they messed up my sandwich, gave both my wife and me the wrong chips, the when you order a pickle you get a sorry little slice of a pickle. I have been to this Jason's Deli several times but this is my first review. This time I had the 1/4 Turkey Muffaletta and a side salad. The food was delivered quickly and everything was delicious. They were surprisingly busy for dinner but the staff still managed to keep the place clean. Before leaving I went for the free ice cream and although the swirl flavor was out I still enjoyed the chocolate flavor. Over-all a very good visit. read more

I wish we had this in WI! This place is great, with a wide variety of menu options and FREE soft serve :) On a recent visit to Texas, we ended up going to Jason's twice. The first time I got a baked potato, and even though I got the smaller size, it was one of the biggest baked potatoes I've ever seen, and it was delicious too! The second time around, I got a Caesar salad with chicken and it was also very tasty, and it came with this really good toasted bread too! I'm hoping to go back next time I get to Texas! read more

My first time ever eating at a Jason's Deli. Experience was good as was some of the food. There menu is CRAZY HUGE, and there is so much to pick from. Sandwiches, soups, salads, baked potatoes, salad bars, chilli, etc, etc... And they have some really good "free" ice cream for a sweet treat after your meal. I went with Chicken Alfredo. Portion was big but flavor was not. It was just a bit to watery for me and lacked that Alfredo taste. My daughter got the kids version of it and said her's tasted like gravy, not Alfredo. One good thing though, the kids portion is quite big itself and comes with a drink. You are also able to get a salad bar option which looked like they had all kinds of things to choose from. I want to try that option if I ever make it back. The food is brought to your table once it's ready and they will even bring you silverware and napkins if you didn't pick any up on the way to your table. I figured I could find something healthy to eat at the salad bar. I was pleasantly surprised. Here's how you eat healthy at Jason's deli: Carrots, zucchini sticks, cucumber, red and yellow bell pepper, and broccoli with Hummus. Orange slices Hard-boiled eggs Olives Artichokes Almonds Walnuts (I had to pick them out of the trail mix) Cottage Cheese This is a perfectly balanced meal with lots of veggies and healthy whole food fats and proteins in the eggs, cottage cheese, and hummus. My boyfriend and I have ALWAYS loved Jason's Deli food. So we went in and went up to the cashier who looked mad and irritated. My boyfriend started to order his food, and she asked him a question about what side he would want. I, myself could barely hear what she had asked him due to the noisy church crowd, and her mumbling. So he politely asked her to repeat what she said, she popped off with an attitude, rolling her eyes and VERY rudely asked him what he wanted as his side. I jumped in with an attitude myself and told her to never talk to my boyfriend the way she did ESPECIALLY when she couldn't even speak loud enough for him or I to hear. Myself being in the restaurant industry, we get busy with the crowds and the loudness of families and children, but NEVER treat the customer like they are stupid just because you're having a bad day. Ugh, 3pm at Jason's. Its slow at this hour, so slow that four of the staff are taking a break in the dinning area, together. Not many people in here. It's an ideal time to get an early dinner or late lunch. I asked for a chicken salad sandwich and side salad (that I put together myself at the salad bar). With the time I took putting my salad together, I figured my sandwich (chicken salad pre-made) should be ready. I'll be damned if people came in, sat down, ate their food and got dessert while I sat waiting for Jason's folks to put shredded meat on some bread. I spent 38 min in here. As part of my birthday week exploits, I went to Jason's Deli because I had a $5 off coupon. After working out one evening, I decided to go grab something to go. The manager has requested that customers physically print out their coupons, so they allowed me to use their computer to sign into my e-mail and print the coupon. After printing my coupon, I then placed my order and sat down to wait. The wait was super short (maybe 5 minutes) and then I was off with my to go order. After visiting Jason's Deli the first time, I decided to return to a different location at a different time, noting any differences in service, environment, and quality of products. This time around, I dined at the 951 W Interstate 20 location during the lunch rush. "Lunch rush" does not give this restaurant's crowd justice. We could not even find parking and ended up having to walk from another parking lot. They conveniently had a self-help kiosk set up for customers who wanted salads and soups only, speeding up the line. We got to jump the line and grab our salad plates and soup, saving us at least 10 minutes. The salad bar was well stocked and easily navigable. Then came the problem of trying to find seating. They were so busy, we had to stand for a few minutes just for one table to be free, a six-seater. Their availability of two-tops was very limited, forcing multiple couples to stand until they were cleared. I enjoyed a combination of nuts, cranberries, pasta salad, and peas on my salad with so many other options available. Their salad bar had everything from fruit to dessert to cornbread, providing something special for each customer. At the end of our meal, we got to enjoy their free ice cream just like the other location, which was greatly appreciated. Once again, our meal was delicious but, disappointingly, we were not acknowledged by the staff the entire time. The servers had no contact with us seeing that we only got salads and soup. I wish they would have gone the extra mile to recognize us since very customer is valuable; we did not even get thanked for coming as we left. read more

Don't bother spending your money here. When getting a to go order they count how many muffins to take with you. The company must take money from the cashier's check if you decide to get a few extra free complimentary muffins. So they wasted a bag full of muffins and an order over an overfilled bag when I demanded a refund before my order was fulfilled. Great business model! Next time..i should go there..eat inside...pile a plate full of muffins or 3...not eat them..and throw them away. Would they want to charge me exta then? No. It's called free. Been to this place about 12 times, and I only order the two same things. Hubby likes to order various things and so far, hasn't been disappointed. Nothing here really wows me, but their veggies taste organic to me, so that's always a plus. Their food seems to be health conscious. All and all value isn't bad for 2 to eat, considering they have like all you can eat ice cream and salad bar. Which I never take advantage of, but the kids like it. This place needs a health inspection!!! On Thursday, March 23, 2017 @ approx. 5:30 pm our meals left us with terrible stomach pains followed by spending time on the toilet. We ordered separate meals but the same broccoli and cheddar soup. The manager wasted the au jus in my broccoli and cheddar soup ( I wasn't upset about that because he started off with a good conversation), they forgot to put my extra slice of cheese on my sandwich so I notified him of that and he wanted to see my sandwich which I handed him and he said it was two not three slices liked I ordered. He said he would be back. He came back with a slice of cheddar cheese on a saucer. At this point I was upset as I saw him approaching our table.
