This is probably the busiest Jason's Deli I've ever been to. I placed a to-go order and it took about 20 minutes to get my food. There were several other people waiting on to-go orders as well. I just grabbed an ice cream cone while I sat and waited. I usually get one of the baked potatoes when I come here. They are freaking huge. Smaller potatoes are available as well. The plain jane potato is anything but plain. It comes with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, and green onions. I also like getting taco salads here. It's a decent size and comes with their chili. I really like their chili as it doesn't come with beans. Overall, a decent spot for lunch or dinner. Be prepared to wait to order if you eat in or wait for your order if taking out. read more

I haven't eaten at a Jason's Deli in at least 5 years, but I knew they had muffaletta sandwiches, and I was determined to get one! I forgot that they offered classic muffalettas as well as turkey muffalettas, so it took me a minute to understand what the cashier was asking me. I went with the turkey, and got the broccoli & cheese soup to go with. The soup was delightful! Cheesy, very flavorful and at just the right temperature to scarf down. I'm not a huge potato chip guy, but the chips served with the sandwich were also very crunchy and fresh. The sandwich itself was great. It wasn't too oily and it was piled high with turkey and olives. The guy that brought the sandwich out wasn't very friendly at all, totally ignoring my thanks and inquiry as to how his day was going. He didn't even look at me. But overall I really enjoyed the food, the location was large & clean, plus they had Coke Zero on the soda fountain. I'll definitely be back. read more

Jason Deli is it real good voice for fat food. Best salad bar in town, bar none. One scoop of jalapeno ranch dressing with two scoops of fat-free cucumber dill, and it is perfect. A multitude of vegetables for the salad. read more

Ugh, got diarrhea after eating that new salmon salad. Went to kohl's across the street and called the manager promptly. He said he just got a fresh shipment the night before. I don't know why he would try to discredit me. Ordered for delivery. They were super quick in bringing out the food. My sandwich was barely edible with the low quality fatty meat that was on my Reuben. It pretty much was all fat. My daughters mac and cheese tasted like easy mac, yuck! I thought their ingredients were supposed to be fresh and better quality. Everything else we ordered was just "OK". I won't say they are completely written off my list but I sure hope for better on my next visit. Their food is costly and which was not justified in my order tonight. read more

I had a craving for a hot pastrami sandwich but when I got inside I saw to my surprise that they had muffalettas. I'm from Louisiana and hadn't had a good Muffy in quite a while. I got two to go. They were one of the best muffalettas I have had. And quite reasonably priced. Four out of five people who had never even heard of them loved them. The other guy just didn't like olives. Thank you to the staff at Jason's deli for saving dinner last night! We were on our way home from a very long trip and originally sat down across the street at Red Robin. A very bad night shift experience had us leaving after an hour of waiting for warm food. That's where Jason's came in. We ordered our food after becoming reacquainted with the menu; it's been 9 years since we've been to a Jason's due to living overseas and distance to home (1.5 hours). We over ordered on purpose. I had a Club Royale and a Plain Jane potato. My husband had a chicken panini and Texas Spud (limited time only). We also ordered a chicken Alfredo for his lunch today. Everything tasted just as I remembered it. Our son tested his dad's Alfredo, and it's only second to my Alfredo sauce. Lol The croissant was yummy for my club. My husband's panini was good. Did I mention that sammys come with chips? There was even free ice cream while we waited. If you are in their delivery area, then you are even better off. They cater also. Great for kids. There are soups, salads, sammys, the massive potatoes that Jason's is known for, and the desserts...let me have a sec here...yummy! Their cookies are awesome, cheesecake is yummy, but the carrot cake (mops up drool) is beyond yummy and awesome. This is the carrot cake that made it my favorite kind of cake! So if you happen by, then stop in. Grab a menu, you can take it with you BTW, do your best to figure out what you want, and order away. You can't really go wrong. read more

We had a catered lunch of salad and sandwiches (wish they'd left all that cheddar cheese off the salad though). I was ready for a delicious brownie until I noticed a spider web in our dessert tray! Eew! Two people had already eaten cookies by then and one person said her cookie literally fell apart in her hands! The food is pretty good here. The waiters who bring over your order are also very nice. My only recommendation is to keep the place clean. The seats, tables and bathrooms always need to be cleaned when we dine in. I think the lack of cleanliness says a lot about a restaurant. I'm a dork- Jason's is my favorite restaurant. If you want to compare it to, say, Subway, as a sandwich shop it's a little pricey, but it's much more than a sandwich shop and they have the best stocked, freshest, cleanest, salad bar ever. The variety is ridiculous and considering the ginormous amount of food you get for your $10-11 (it's usually $22/23 for the two of us) it's actually a great deal. read more

I hate to give places a bad review but I have to be honest. I want to point out first that the food we ate was fine. Upon arriving, my lady friend and I were the 3rd customers in line but we had to wait 10-15 minutes until our order was taken because the cashier was more concerned about getting the order of what seemed like her friends, one arrived late and moved to the front of the line. After taking the peoples order in front of us we were greeted by the "just one moment" finger as she quickly moved to talk with other employees about who knows what. She failed to get everything entered my friend ordered we later found out when they brought our food to the table. When we sat down to eat my friend went o the restroom to wash her hands and a large table busser parked his filthy cart inches from out table and began to bus he table across from us. He threw the silverware into the pool of water and it splashed everywhere. I watched my friends plate to make sure no droplets of filth splashed on her plate. When she returned he moved the cart a little further away (See picture) but it was still too close. When he moved to the table behind us and was spraying it with cleaner the overspray splashed on the back of my neck and upper arms. Overall the restaurant was filthy. I waited a few weeks to post this review until I cooled down a bit but I will never return to that Jason's Deli again. read more

Just okay. Salad bar was good but wasn't too impressed with the food for the price. It wasn't bad but I don't feel like I would go back.

So I was liking this place at first until I saw something that turned me off. I went there for lunch one day with my family and I noticed someone had put there number on a table and the server placed there soup on the table. Well after 30 minutes the person who ordered the food realized their food was at the wrong table. So they asked for a fresh bowl of soup. The person from behind the food line came and picked up the soup and then put it back in the steam table. That was gross! I can't believe they did this. Then while the person was putting the soup in the steam table they dropped the whole bowl in the soup; the same bowl that was sitting on the table for 30 minutes. They did this in front of a manager who allowed the cross contamination of food. I have not been back since then, can't get passed the visual. read more

My wife and I go to Jason's a couple of times a week. The food variety is nice with a good selection of healthy meals. The salad bar is usually very good and they offer complimentary muffins and frozen yogurt. It gets loud and crowded at lunch during the week, but it doesn't usually deter us. I really love this place. Not necessarily this location, just the chain in general. But I felt the need to rate it after visiting this particular location. I don't have this chain in Michigan which is where I live. I've loved it since I discovered it in Texas years ago. Since then, I have always made a point of coming when I see one near wherever I may be staying for work or vaca. I try not to do chains, especially when out of town. But this place is so good that it breaks that rule. Anyway...to the food...I get the half sammy and one trip to the salad bar combo when I come. The sammy is pretty big. You can get whatever you want on it but I get tuna, Munster, lettuce, pickle, and mustard. They have plenty of choices of breads, meats, cheese, dressings, and toppings. It also comes with a bunch of crinkle chips. But the main appeal for me is the salad bar. It's so good. It has so many options of toppings for a regular salad and other pre-made salads. It has a bean salad, pasta salad, corn salsa, and hummus dip that I love. They have tons of dressings to choose from. Puddings, croutons and nuts, mini muffins, etc. it's pretty extensive. I always overflow my plate because I want everything and by the time I'm to the end of the line, I can't fit anything more. I always get a to go box cause I can only make a dent in the salad. Today I was extra hungry when I ordered and noticed a strawberry shortcake in the case and ordered it to go, lol. I had a few bites a few hours later (haven't finished it yet) and it was really good. It could use some chocolate but that's because every dessert could use chocolate. Anyway, I will be back to one again soon :) read more
