Not sure what to think or taste... Zucchini Garden Pasta has no flavor at all, not enough veggies & fresco mix of roasted tomatoes are near to none or not at all. If the redish sauce looking thing is it, it must be left over from bottom of the can/jar & dry but the pasta is cooked to perfection. Spinach Veggie Wrap has maybe 1 piece of mushroom sliced, 5 pieces/cube of tomatoes, teaspoon of guacamole & no pico de gallo or salsa. Not sure what I am suppose to taste or what it is. Decided to try this place out because I pass it all the time. I couldn't pick which soup I wanted to I got 2!! The Reuben is the biggest Reuben I've ever seen in my life. When the server brought it to us, 2 other tables commented on how huge it was. The friend I was with said "wow this sandwich has fans!" Haha My soups were so good. I love soup, I wanna try every soup flavor ever, anywhere I go. There were so many to choose from I must go back and try the rest. The menu was pretty extensive and relatively inexpensive for a meal. They have a huge open salad bar and the best part about this place was the free ice cream. I ate a cone before I ate my soup and after haha. The corned beef and pastrami were so yummy, I believe the reason it was so big is because my friend asked for both meats. It didn't come with a pickle or the dressing but the open salad bar had both so it worked out great. I think the only thing he "didn't like" if that's what you want to call it, was there wasn't enough 1000 island on The sandwich itself but it may have been made that way on purpose because of the open salad bar. I love this place! Has the best salad bar in town, great sandwiches, and let's not forget the bomb broccoli and cheese soup. But what I liked the best was the hospitality and great service we received from Jaime. He was extra helpful and polite. The best service my wife and I have had in a long time! Reminds me of what it would had been like back in the day. He greeted us with a smile, acted like it was the most exciting job he had ever had and he loved it! So, this is pretty much my new favorite for soup & sandwich... totally blows my prior go-to's out of the water. I mean, WOW! For delivery, this was impressive & much more than the standards I had expected. The food is delicious! I had a custom Turkey sandwich on a croissant, requested specific condiments & cheeses- it was one of the best sandwiches from a deli I've had! And, it is a very decent size bowl! Also for a very reasonable price. It is enough to serve two. Works perfect to split the full Turkey sandwich & bowl of soup! The flavor & consistency is good, and no complaint on the amount or quality of broccoli. The sandwich comes w/ a dill pickle & chips of your choice side. The soup comes w/ packages of saltine crackers. And, the mini corn muffins are a must! Not just cute, but very tasty... it may be a good idea to order double if there are multiple mouths. It's probably been 15 years since I've been here. I decided to stop for lunch since I was close by. Jason's did not disappoint. I had the New York Yankee sandwich and I thought it was pretty darn good. Could've had a little more dressing on it, and I wish the bread was a little toasted or grilled. Jason's Deli has been one of my favorite restaurants since childhood. I have never in my decade of coming here, ever had a bad experience. The plain Jane baked potato was the first baked potato I ever had. It quickly became my favorite me. I have been to two locations and both provide quality, tasty, affordable food. Not to mention free soft serve - truly a miracle they maintain it with this inflation. Tonight, I had the server Matthew. He acts as if this is his dream job. Went and picked up a mobile order for my boss - was suppose to be done at 11:39. I walk in and it's pretty busy. After 15 mins past 11:39 goes by I ask for an update on the order, I was told it was almost ready and they needed another 10 mins. The guy boxing up the sandwiches was probably the slowest person they could've put on there. As he also grabbed sandwiches from a tray that had been sitting there since before I walked in. So I'm sure the sandwiches are now all soggy, and my work gets to eat after almost an hour. I would never return here again. read more

Tried this deli for the first time this evening, placed my order through DoorDash. I ordered the Caesar salad ($9+) and the large fruit salad ($8+). They forgot my dressing so I had a dry salad, the ingredients were pretty fresh so I guess that sort of makes up for it. The fruit however wasn't as fresh. The portion sizes are not worth the cost at all. You can literally count the tiny handful of each fruit on the plate. I gave two stars for the fresh salad ingredients. Glad I finally tried it, will not eat from here again though. It just isn't worth it to me. If price to portion ratio doesn't matter to you and you catch them on a fresh fruit day, give it a try, you may like it. read more

Food is great and the prices are good. We stopped by to grab some lunch to go, and this place was busy busy! I had only been here once before, and it has been a few years back. We were confused at first, as to where to go order, as we saw that there were two ordering counters and a kiosk. We stood at one line and luckily that was the one. The menu on the wall only had a few entrees listed but the actual pamphlet menus have everything that they offer. We ended up ordering one grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, one half southwest chicken sandwich with an Irish soup, and an original sized Reuben sandwich. The cashier was friendly and she gave us each a water cup. People were everywhere and the salad bar area was crazy. This is where the drink machines are as well, so it was a little congested. We got our waters and found a table to sit at and wait for our food. We only waited about 10 minutes, and the friendly employee walked our to go bag out to us. We only live a few minutes away so we got home quickly. Our soups were delicious and the sandwiches were great! I loved my southwest chicken sandwich! The Irish potato is amazing! My friend ordered the original sized Reuben sandwich and it was huge!! The sandwiches also came with a pickle on the side and a bag of chips. I came in a fee nights ago and I appreciated the staff here so much! My daughter has an egg, dairy and nut allergy and Ruby was able to answer all my questions about allergens in their menu items. She looked every item up that I asked about and that really means a lot as my daughter has previously had allergic reactions at restaurants that didn't care. Tomatoes were not grilled, at least not the two I got. Spinach was wilted, and the best part was noodles were clumped together by half melted cheese. The bread was stale and immediately tossed. Broccoli soup was okay. The sandwich was good but lacked meat. We also notes the dining room was dirty with many unbussed tables. Used to frequent Jason's quite a bit before the pandemic. Decided to try it again today on my way home and was completely disappointed. Picked up two sandwiches for $34 The corned beef was flavorless and over cooked. The meat was flakey and bland. Not even the marbled rye nor Swiss cheese could bring the sandwiches to life. If I didn't live so far I would've taken it back. For $17, the sandwiches should have been much better. On the upside the sandwich was meaty and not skimpy. Disappointing. I had only been to Jason's deli once before (different location) and I wasn't overly thrilled. This experience defiantly didn't change anything. We ordered out in the office and what was delivered definitely left something to be desired. Two of the sandwiches had maybe 5 slices of meat each... both of which were jammed in the center of the sandwich so nothing on the edges. The salad had a terrible rubbery fried egg on it... I'm not sure if that was how it was supposed to be, but the person that ordered the salad was very surprised that there was an oddly over cooked egg on their salad. REALLY small portions for the cost. At this point, I could've gone to Subway to get twice as much food for the same cost and probably better tasting meal. read more

I ordered the Ruben today, and it was an epic FAIL ! The bread was hard , dry and stale. The meat was tasteless and dry. Forgot the dressing and stingy with saurekraut the result was the sandwich lacked flavor. I ordered the BLT with egg, and chips and a pickle. Also ordered a bowl of "gumbo". The sandwich was ok. The bacon used on the BLT was giving McDonald's and I don't like that very much. Everything else, including the avocado, tasted fresh and I really enjoyed it. I did pick most of the bacon off. The "gumbo" was absolutely disgusting. It had a spice to it which was ok, but it looked like mud, and anything in it you couldn't distinguish what you were eating. The shrimp were over cooked. We were completely disappointed. We walked in to eat and right away you smelled grease and the air was thick. Here their exhaust system was not working to get rid of the cooking smell. As we sat and ate salads, we looked up and over the serving counter where they prepare food and food was exposed, we saw the intake vents completely blocked off with dirt and dust. It got so bad trying to breath, we got up and left. Unlike past experiences at Jason's, this was by far the worst. We got to the car and smelled like restaurant all over our clothes. Love Jason's Deli and this store. Only issue is that they say they close at 10pm but technically its drastically sooner. They remove the salad utensils at around 9:30pm and persuade you from getting a salad by making you feel bad and saying "she already cleaned that area". They also remove the tea containers early. If you do come visit this store, just do it before 9pm because that is when they truly close. read more

I work in the service industry an instinctively started picking up dishes while they watched and did nothing to help. They left one person to make my relatively big order on her own. This place needs some work finding responsible team members. I don't mind waiting but if they were actually working it would've been done in 5 minutes not 15. I'm from out of state and am in the Scottsdale area for a week for half business, half visiting family. Found myself in the area of this location of Jason's Deli so took a chance without first reading Yelp reviews which I normally do. SO glad I stopped by. Ryan waited on me and was super polite since I needed a few minutes to peruse the large menu. Decided on a pastrami reuben since I can never find a good pastrami sandwich in SoCal where I live. I am originally from the NYC area so am used to good pastrami and good delis. The pastrami reuben I just ate at Jason's truly rivaled most NYC pastrami sandwiches! Perfectly grilled rye bread, perfectly melted cheese, warm kraut and top grade pastrami piled high! Pickle, napkins and chips were included for a more than reasonable price. Would have taken a pic but I was so hungry I just dug in! Would definitely come back to this deli, and also a shout out to Ryan.
