This was my first time visiting Jason's deli. The wait wasn't long at all, the cashier was very friendly and patient as I was undecided in what I wanted because it was my first time. It wasn't very busy when we went at 8:30pm. My son enjoyed the free ice cream! When I got home I realized that they forgot to give me my brownie. I plan to go back tomorrow to get that because I paid for it. I believe it was an honest mistake. 8/24 - I spoke with David and he made a note to the staff that I would be returning for my brownie. I just went to get it and the staff was soooo kind like before. They even offered my son an ice cream cone to take with us. I give 5 stars because the customer service is TOP TIER!

Great place to grab a healthy and pretty quick meal! I love you have several options to choose from for a side dish too! Today I had my usual spinach veggie wrap but ordered the broccoli cheese soup. The soup was creamy and warm, the wrap is full of fresh ingredients and great with the salsa. Counter was as expected- they took my order and brought my food. It's a casual restaurant and plenty of seating.

Big fan to order one of these ahead of time and take it to the golf range. Personally, the club Royale/California club worth chips is exactly what I need on the golf course. The sandwich is solid, albeit a little pricey. The pastas are alright, the soups are enjoyable (chicken noodle/chicken pot pie), but I'd recommend the croissant sandwich the best. Cheers!

Wow! My new favorite lunch spot! If you can't find anything to eat here, you just aren't hungry! It's cafeteria style, with a salad bar that is huge! Service is quick and easy. Prices are super affordable. There is 1/2 sandwiches and plates of all kinds of fresh fruit. Yummmm!

Maybe this was just an off day , but I ordered a whole muffaletta and it was dry. There was ample meat, but I could barely see the cheese. I was disappointed. I took must of it home to doctor it up. The restaurant was not very busy, yet the tables had left over food on the tables. I was not greeted as I entered , and it was an underwhelming experience.

I can usually always count on Jason's Deli for quality meals. I stopped into a different location than my usual JD today. The service was great and the restaurant was clean, but my food was poor. I always get the Shelley's chicken salad and it's always great. Not this time. Tomatoes were anemic looking, bread was over toasted and the lettuce had weird spots on it. The broccoli cheese soup was gritty and bland. I'm so disappointed because this meal was for my friend who is in the hospital and myself. We were both not happy. $29.82 for terrible food. What a shame.

Owned by Jason from Freddy vs Jason fame. Apparently. This is a pretty good location of Jason's Deli, and one which we come to on a fairly regular basis, and one which we appreciate. They're tasty and get the job done and not too expensive. I don't like the chain in general but it's better than some others. Not too bad.

Driving through Houston & stopped for lunch. The line moved very fast to order our food, the booths were very clean since an employee was actively cleaning tables & booths. The sandwiches were very good, fresh & tasty.

We arrived on a Friday around 12:30pm and it was fairly busy. Many of the tables were occupied. The lady at the register was helpful and patient with us as this was our first time. We ordered the chicken tenders, fries, cheese sauce, Italian Beef and Sausage sandwich with sweet peppers, onion rings, and chocolate cake shakes (a must I've heard). Everything was delicious! My husband's beef and sausage sandwich took a little bit of time because they were making it fresh which was much appreciated. The chicken strips were good too. I got the comeback sauce and the Giardiniera sauce and both were really good. The cheese sauce was hot and super tasty. The chocolate cake shakes were delicious. Mr. Black Fine came around to each table to ensure everything was going okay. We told him it was our first time at a Portillo's and he couldn't have been friendlier. He also came around with chocolate cake shake samples, which was awesome. This place is yummy and the vibes were awesome. Can't recommend this location more! We ordered a hotdog, polish sausage, Italian beef sandwich, french fries, queso, dr. Pepper shake. The hotdog, polish sausage, french fries, and queso were really good. They pushed the Dr Pepper shake on me (I really wanted the chocolate cake shake). I took three sips of the shake because I really wanted to like it (I like Dr Pepper and I like ice cream) but I didn't want to torture myself so I threw it away. The tables were a tad greasy but the restrooms were clean. I would come back for the hotdog and Polish Sausage!!!!

While visiting family in Houston we were excited to come across a "real" Mexican (as opposed to Tex-Mex...iykyk) taco shop. As soon as you walk in and see the Tijuana and Baja Mexico signs and decor you know you're in the right place. There's an open kitchen, allowing you to watch your carne being grilled on the open-flame grill. That charged meat smell is heavenly! Their guac is chunky and simple (nothing too fancy), hot sauces are tasty (and they have a kick!), tortillas are thin but strong -- holding the goods in just right. It's also nice that they have complimentary tasty, crispy pork rinds -- as opposed to the standard chips & salsa. Portions are ample! They definitely don't skimp on portions -- tons of meat and guac in their tacos and huge, meaty burritos! Prices are fair, especially for what you get! Their dining room is a tad small, but it's very clean and the a/c is good...there's also a nice patio outside. Service was swift and friendly. Food was good. A/C was poppin'. Parking was plentiful. The price to food ratio is beyond reasonable, especially when put up against fast food restaurants (or just many restaurants for that matter) and can serve as a second or even third meal (assuming you don't get lost in the flavor) The staff have always been nice, so no complaints there The only complaint is that it can take a while for your order to be made, especially at peak times. Dining in is hard due to the lack of available seating (all first come, first serve), parking is very limited and you may need to park on the other side of the shopping complex. Last I ordered, there doesn't seem to be a clear way to order ahead Regardless, we still come here often and always have enjoyed the food

Different Kinds of Cheesesteaks--This One Deserves Its Own Lane…read more I think people really need to acknowledge that there are different types of cheesesteaks. Not all of them are made to be compared--some are just totally different styles, and that's not a bad thing. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while after seeing the debates about who has the best cheesesteak in Houston. The only thing that held me back was the location. I finally made the trip--and I'm glad I did. First off: customer service. Let's be real--food trucks sometimes don't deliver on this, but that was not the case here. Super friendly and attentive. It made a big difference. What I tried: * Chicken cheesesteak with shrimp - Delicious. Messy, cheesy, and indulgent. If you're someone who likes your cheesesteaks loaded with toppings like lettuce or tomato, this might not be your thing. But if you're into a bold, no-frills kind of sub? You'll love it. * Philly steak eggroll - Fire. * Fries - These were wild. Battered like fried chicken, perfectly crispy. I might honestly come back just for the fries. * Corned beef - Served Midwest-style, and the meat was on point. Tender and flavorful. Bottom line: I really enjoyed this place. It's not trying to be like everyone else--and that's exactly why it works. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd absolutely return.
