They serve tap beer and alcohol rare for sandwich spot. Chips do sell little bags but most of them fresh thin cut fried potato chips (three different flavors). They do have diverse menu not just about sandwiches. I had Banh Mi on my mind. It comes in three different proteins for choice. I went with the chicken. It was good. The bread was solid, chicken was perfect, and all vegetables fresh. The chips went with salt and vinegar. Service was five stars. She was friendly, helpful, and great recommendations for first time.

After I arrived, the line behind me quietly filled up quickly (it was the 10:35 AM)! As with most locations, come early if you don't want to wait. I did eat the rest of the sandwiches about 3 hrs. later but it got duller the longer it sat (as expected). It was still good though! I repeat: I was a bit skeptical because of the virality of this slot, but at lease at the UNCOMMONS, location, the hype is indeed real. It's not as savory as Hawaiian mac salad, but the subtle flavor serves as a nice palate cleanser after the chicken and fries. As a side note, their Hencredible sauce serves as a good pairing with their chicken, and I'd like to come back to try the sweet chili sauce. The portion sizes for everything were good for the price as well--I can definitely get two meals out of this. My friends were giving me a strange look as we walked in wondering why we were walking into a butcher shop. It's small with only a few tables. The menu offered so many choices but I went with the meatball & sooooo glad I did, I literally never had a meatball sandwich that can come close to this!
