Always a great option when you want some delicious tasting fish! The staff always greets you when you walk in and if you decide to use the the kiosk they say "if you have any questions about the menu let us know". My go to is the battered fish tacos! They are packed with flavor and very filling, I always get a side of feta tomato's , but I've recently noticed they haven't been on the menu. I will say when I order for my kids I get the Swai and they think it's chicken, it's perfectly seasoned and delicious. The protein bowls are a great option also, especially if you get the everything bowl. You get a taste of it all. You order at the front counter on the kiosks then find a seat, your name is called & pick up your meal. Simple, straightforward. The staff are super friendly & helpful. Our orders were ready in about 5-10 minutes. You get a beverage cup and there is self service beverage available. Ok, so my LTP for some reason has had fish and chips on his mind for a while, and I decided to search for restaurants that serve fish and chips, and California Fish and Grill in southwest Las Vegas popped up. This is a place we haven't tried before and we just got back from California a few weeks ago, so we thought, that'll do. My LTP prefers staying home over dining in most of the time, so we chose takeout. We parked in a spot with a 15-minute only wait time sign that said something like 'park here while you reel your order in', haaaa....ok. I got myself two fish tacos with fries and beans on the side and he got his fish and chips, with some shrimp added in, with rice on the side. Our families come from opposite sides of the US coast (me New England, him Oregon), but California always has some amazing fish and it felt like we were back there when we were eating ours. But their favorite is still Kids approved Chicken Tender...lol they like to put Garlic Butter on Rice, Chicken and Fries... So delicious!! Walked in not knowing what to get and the cashier, Anthony was super patient and helpful. I got the fish and chips not expecting much from this hole in the wall but genuinely the best fish and chips I've had in Vegas. They are huge pieces filled with hot tender fish and the crust is crunchy. Not to mention the coleslaw is actually refreshing and not just drowned in mayo.
