Solid location. The manager (who reminds me of Anthony Clark from "Yes, Dear") is very friendly and professional. The staff are friendly as well. The salad bar ($7.99 AYCE) is always well managed. If something spills into another container, they're good about cleaning it up. It doesn't stay long. The place is always well maintained as well. My wife and I visited Jason's Deli tonight. We only wanted the salad bar and some soup. The young lady taking our orders seemed really unhappy to be there. Anyway, I asked her what the soups were and she pointed to the overhead board. Well, I have a cataract and reading a lighted sign is difficult. I told her I couldn't read it and asked her politely what the soups were. She spoke so quickly and quietly that neither my wife nor I could hear her. So I just skipped the soup, as did my wife. I will say the salad was excellent but spoiled by this young lady's poor temperament. read more

My favorite Jason's deli location by far. The food has always been excellent here. Their ice cream is good at this location as well, and they have an option of soda water on their drink machine vs just regular water. Parking is a bit painful during business hours because of all the other business,, but worth it. read more

I truly loved Jason's Deli. It's actually the one place I make sure to come when I visit home in Georgia since there aren't any in LA. However, every time I come back, it seems like the salad bar gets neglected more and more. The unlimited salad bar options have dwindled each time I visit - at first it was just the cous cous and quinoa salads... then the macaroni salad and the broccoli/raisin... now all that was left was pretty much one type of veggie pasta salad and I believe a potato salad.. aside from greens and veggies. After coming back a second time and seeing even less options, I unfortunately don't think I will be returning. Jason's Deli by far had the best unlimited salad bar in the past but whether it was due to costs or unpopularity, things have taken a dive. For all their other food (sandwiches, soups, etc.), I would still applaud. The quality is great and food is fresh. I will really miss their great salad bar though -- it's what kept me coming back! read more

food is great, never a problem when we have it delivered to work. but the one time i ordered pick up, I immediately regretted it. when i asked for my order, the lady at the register went to grab the manager and she said "it's going to take 20 mins" & i said 20 mins? & she said "yea i tried calling you but no one answered" & walked off. coming from a restaurant industry, I completely understand if you're slammed and busy (which they were) but don't be mean about it. and if no one answered, WHY DIDNT YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE?? common sense is not common anymore. to the person higher than her: please train her on her people skills. read more

First time going here and the food was soooo good that I would recommend and I will be going back again

I ordered a plain Jane potato from this location and took the potato Togo. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice. I arrived at home and proceeded to eat the potato it was tasty had a generous amount of toppings. My only complaint is that my potato was slightly under cooked in the middle. I placed it in the microwave to finish cooking it. I was slightly disappointed but the potato was still good. read more

Came into the restaurant and stood on the line marked 'place Togo orders' and not one person acknowledged us. The team members proceeded to take other customers at the other counter where you order if you were going to stay and eat. Still not being acknowledged y anyone. Finally the team member who was working the Togo orders looked at us and said what are you picking up? We informed her that we were waiting to order and she rudely says oh really okay. Extremely rude. Then we get our order twenty minutes later and go home and the meat is fatty and tasteless. We ordered pastrami and there was a lot of fat on the meat making the sandwich taste horrible. This is the second time we have come here and been disappointed in the quality of the meat. Salad is pretty good (although) you only get one round. Other then that all their management/employees very low class. Have been to this location a couple times in the past 6 months and have not had a positive experience with any of their representatives. Wouldn't recommend going. Try out the new sandwich Pot roast with red onions and horseradish super tasty. The meat was tender and moist if I had a complaint it would be put more meat on that thing. Like other Jason's it has good food at reasonable prices. Salad bar is kept clean and replenished regularly. Favorite sandwich here had a half pound of Corned Beef and Pastrami on Rye. It gets a bit chilly when sitting by the windows so bring a jacket and remember to sign up for your Birthday coupon. read more

Dropping a couple stars because they ALWAYS forget something... As mentioned in my previous review, we use Jason's all the time for catering. The last several times we have ordered they always forget something. Mainly the dipping sauce that my coworker requests for her wraps. They also have a hard time following special orders even though they are clearly listed on the invoice they bring me when they deliver. I guess the preparers just don't take the time to read it or something. Also, I ordered carry out for myself a few weeks ago and they forgot the strawberries I requested. My hands were full and I didn't check my order (I should've known better, dumb move on my part) so I got all the way back to the office before I realized they were missing. Jason's is a good 15 minutes from my office so it wasn't an option to go back. I called and spoke with two people who apologized for the mix up and they promised they'd credit my card back for my entire meal purchase. Well, they never did. I figured they wouldn't and so I was out $3. If ordering take out again from here I will be sure to check my order before I leave. Jason's, time to invest in some quality control training for your employees. If you keep this up I foresee myself and my company taking our business elsewhere for lunch catering. read more

Ok, so this place is awesome! I went out on a limb today and had lunch by myself at my local Jason's deli and let me tell y'all, it was so yummy!!! I had the salad bar option with a cup of soup and a drink($12 ish). The bar has everything you can imagine for a perfect salad heaven. Feta, various seeds, pasta salads, corn salsa, olives, zucchini, etc. This is a perfect place to have a little alone time as well because their are lots of booths and the Restauraunt is generally a large space. This is a great place for kids. They are very family-friendly. I never feel bad taking them there because there are always a lot of kids there during dinnertime. The salad bar is great at $6.99. Oh man, i was craving some salad and Jason's salad bar hit the spot. No iceberg lettuce, romaine and mixed greens only =) Peas, broccoli, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, bell peppers, and more! On top of that I got a side of tuna salad~ it was creamy, but not too much mayo. My bf got the chicken panini. Yum, chicken, pesto, tomato, provolone, and lettuce, with baked chips on the side. New Yorker corned beef had one little slice of swiss. Asked for horseradish on the side. I got something that looked like shredded tomatoes and peppers. Asked cook what it was, English not clear.Repeated I wanted horseradish. States they don't have that. Wow! How sad. My receipt says I also get house potato chips and a pickle. No pickle on my plate. Ask cashier for pickle per receipt. He states you don't get a pickle. I show him receipt. Haven't been in here in a few years. Panera is closed this was my only choice. General "Jason's Deli chain" experience here was "ok". There was a long line at the register with one person taking orders. While the To Go guy fiddle around avoiding eye contact so he didn't have to help anyone. The manager eventually came up to take orders. (minus 1 star) Sweet tea was luke sweet (yes I made that up)! Which is a major fail for any food place in my book! All their other teas are unsweet. I suffered and drank the luke sweet tea because I rarely drink soda. (minus half a point) We ordered a strawberry shortcake (they are so good here) when we ordered our food. I asked for it to come out in a to go box. We never got our shortcake. After eating and relaxing for a while I had to go to the counter and ask for it. The employee had no idea because the manager took my order, but quickly boxed up a shortcake for us. (minus half a point since it was corrected) Great place for kids. Good ingredients. I really like they have natural products and chicken. read more

The salad bar alone is worth going to this place. Top it off with free soft-serve and you have a winner in my book. Their soups are great to pair with the salad bar. Many people don't know but you can buy a single trip to the salad bar which saves you a couple of bucks. Kind of mad that they took away the pesto portabello sandwich and I tried to say that it was my deli but they weren't having it. Oh well, worth a try. P.S. Great spot for lunch. Salad bar is great. BUT, you talk about being squeezed in like sardines. They have so many tables and chairs slammed into the center of the area. Today, people were actually moving the tables and chairs around so that they could walk through the restaurant area. AND...when you pull the metal chairs along the tile surface, guess what???? Locate at the far north end of the Forum - signage isn't so great so you have to kind of seek it out. We had lunch here today for the first time. Both the food and the service was very impressive! We had the tuna melt and the french onion soup - both were super fresh and delicious! - and very reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is sparkling clean. Kudos to our "host", Shelby and our server, Matthew P. You guys are great! We will definitely be back and the next time we will save some room for the free ice cream. read more

I love Jason's. The food is excellent and I love that they have a wide variety of healthy options with the nutrition information posted right on the menu. I'm in the process of losing weight, so I love that I can order confidently there and not derail my diet for the day. Once they gave me the wrong order and not only did they correct it, they gave me a cookie for free. I was impressed with how sincerely apologetic they were and that they gave me something for free as well. A lot of casual dining restaurants I've been to grudgingly correct the order and act like it was your fault in the first place. It's refreshing to go somewhere that not only takes the blame but offers you something for having to wait to correct it. read more

This location is pretty decent, however Jason's is basically a step up from fast food. My typical choice is the salad bar, checked out at the kiosk to avoid the line. Salad bar is always fresh, well stocked and maintained (which is a big deal, I hate messy salad bars it's gross). The reason for the 3 stars and not 4 , is their tables are made so small you can barely fit 4 adults on them with food and drinks. Forget about trying to put the trays on the table, always throw those on the table next to me. Also they pack so many of those micro tables in, there is little room move and you are eating on top of others. read more

I had forgotten how much I miss the spinach veggie wrap (no cheese) with a pickle and chips until I ran into this Jason's. And it seems like no matter which Jason's you go to the food is just consistently the same- and good. And they mark all the vegetarian food in their menu, which always makes you a winner in my book. The salad bars look decent, the staff is always lovely, and I've only had my order wrong a few times out of hundreds of meals there. I'm not a huge chain person, but if they opened a Jason's in, say, Edgewood shopping center, I'd probably get back to the voice recognition only ordering status pretty soon. read more

I love this Jason's Deli. The food is always fresh, the salad bar is always stocked, and the new layout really ups the ambiance. The addition of the divider in the middle of the restaurant gives it a very chic vibe. Although this is a "chain" store, that doesn't mean every location is the same. This particular location truly is wonderful. It's located right in the forum---perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat pre/post shopping. The service here was also very welcoming. The manager that day, Christina, was very accomodating and made us feel right at home. We'll be back! read more

If you have never eaten at Jason's...I highly recommend the Ruben melt sandwich with a kosher dill pickle. My wife and I love this on Caraway seed rye bread. The salad bar is over-the-top good. don't miss it. Free soft serve ice dream for dessert.....winner winner chicken dinner!! The locale is kinda sorta hard to find, as it sits on the far end of the Forum Center. Plenty of free parking. My only objection are the most of the staff. I get the feeling they just don't want to be there. All are going thru the motions, lackluster performances. Morale might have been low that day.....dunnnno. With that said...give it a try.
