Unfortunately the quality of this pizza has gradually declined over the years. I'm not sure if it's the quality of the ingredients, the lack of experience making the pies or a combination of both. It's a step slightly above most of your large chain pizza's, but at 1.5-2x the cost. read more

The building is plain and very vanilla on the outside. Once inside the Pizza counter is just inside the door. very convenient ! On to the left is the dinning area and bar. Booths along the wall and tables in the center. so they could handle a large group. Nice clean interior, and quick friendly service. My glass was kept full of ice tea. The food, is what I would classify as American Italian, simple, good and not heavily spiced. I had the baked zita and it was tasty, the cheese melted with a bit of browned cheese at the sides. Our breaded mushroom appetizer was crisp on the outside and HOTTTTTT ! on the inside; just a warning (I burnt my palate). Once I stopped the pain with ice I felt foolish I should have tested the deep fried food, before popping into my mouth LOL. My wife and I plan on coming back and trying something else. read more

Have always wanted to try this place. I heard through the grapevine that the "Mac Daddy" is a must try. We also ordered a deluxe type pizza and an order of cheesy breadsticks. Well I must say the pizza was excellent. Both pizza's were delish. Love the sauce, a hint of sweetness. We could barely put a dent in either pizza and so out on the 3 season they went in their boxes. It's been 7 or 8 degrees at night and barely out of the 20's during the day lately so I knew they would be safe. The next day I put the oven at 400 and put a few pieces on a cookie sheet. The pizza's tasted even better than when they were fresh. I then microwaved a couple peices a few days later. The crust really stands up to this type of heating. We've been a good customer for a couple of years. On Thursday we ordered through the app. Said it would be an hour. An hour and 45 minutes later the food arrives. The food was barely warm, and I had requested thin crust and light sauce on my pizza, neither one happened. I call and ask to speak to the manager, some lady comes on the line and I voice my concerns to her. She said the wait times were long because they were busy, I told her they should update the website with the correct wait times, her response was the time given was the max her managers could insert... I thought I was talking to a manager???? Wtf???? As for the pizza not being thin crust or light sauce, her response was those are customer request and she has new cooks and they must have missed it..... Exactly, they are what I requested. I'm sorry your people can't read. Not my fault, maybe you should be checking to ensure your staff is doing what is requested by the paying customer. She the "manager" was rude, offered no apology or recourse and hung up on me. Sorry Jaspare's that kind of service and rudeness is not tolerated,. We will take our business elsewhere. I just finished a gluten free pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. It was AMAZING! It is so hard to find a really good gf pizza around here. Being close to home we order from the gull rd location alot. Todays order for pickup left very little impressions. The veggie sub we ordered was like a bread sandwich with a very tiny amount of small diced up veggies on it. The turkey sub had a thin layer of maybe 2 slices of turkey on it. The tomato slices were the stem end without being cored, had to pitch them off my sub. The chicken wings we order were fried way too long they were crunchy and very hard to eat. The one positive note was the fried mushrooms, the only thing that was actually pleasant to eat from this order today. Who knows what happened, new cook maybe needs training. read more

Disappointed. I would not recommend the Jaspers on Gull Road. Customer service is poor and the overall food quality has plummeted over the last year. Recently, everything we order has been either made incorrectly or the overall assembly of the food is sloppy. I usually really enjoy Jaspare's! The food is great! The reason for the three stars is because I ordered a simple sub that I always get and when I got home I realized they didn't put the extra meat I paid for, and it was missing the onions and mayo that always comes on it.... makes a huge difference on a steak sub. We've been here a few times to grab some pizza and drinks and have always had a good experience. There is a large menu of specialty pizzas as well as a build-your-own option. We've been trying new specialty pizzas the last few times and have enjoyed them all so far. A large is plenty with extra to take home as leftovers. Is it just me or is pizza always a bit pricey? You'll find that it's pretty comparable here. Tonight we tried the Southern BBQ style pizza which includes chicken, bacon, ham, pineapple, and mozzarella on a bbq base. We both enjoyed it. The bar is usually pretty busy at peak hours and the crowd is filled with regulars and employees of nearby businesses. The nice thing is that if you just want to grab some beers at the bar this pizza place definitely has that vibe as well. Other than pizzas there is a menu with baked subs, appetizers and salads. The appetizers are what you'd describe as bar food, but tasty nonetheless. We will eventually try the subs once we work our way through the pizza menu a bit more. read more

I enjoyed my BBQ chicken 12 inch sub with added onions and mushrooms. It wasn't a grease bomb which was nice. Their BBQ sauce isn't terrible or fantastic. I was hungry and took a peak at their salad bar which was a basic- no thrills- so I just stuck with the sub. The service was fine but it took awhile for the food. I'm in Illinois and I called this pizza shop to order dinner for my college son and his friends for his birthday. Jarred the manager is who I spoke with. Reassured me he would personally deliver the food even after his work hours! That was beyond nice! My son loved the breadsticks, pizza with pepperoni and sausage. And a giant salad. Not bad for a local Italian and pizza joint. Have gotten delivery a few times from them and their pizza and salads are pretty good. Went in for the lunch buffet today and the place was a mess- granted I think there was only one waiter working but there were dirty tables when we sat down that were still dirty when we left. A little off putting sure but maybe they were short staffed and it was toward the end of the lunch rush. The buffet leaves a little to be desired but for 8.95 a person it's not bad. It consists of two small containers of soup (one chicken noodle the other we couldn't figure out, some kind of chowdery thing), and a salad bar which was really a big tray of lettuce and about a dozen or so salad trimmings. Again, nothing fancy here but substantial. The real meal portion of the buffet is the pizza and there are several different selections to choose from so you won't want for more. The place could probably charge a buck or two more per person by adding some pasta or meat dishes to the mix but for a pizza buffet it was more than adequate. Where this place loses me was the fact that the bathroom was an utter, disgusting mess. If this was someplace other than yelp I would be a lot more colorful with my language but let's just say it looks like a bomb of trash and odor went off in there. I realize there was only one waiter on duty but there were a handful of workers in the kitchen so surely SOMEONE could have taken 5 minutes to do some cleaning. BBQ Chicken Pizza The Sweet Memphis. This the 3rd time we've ordered this pizza from Jaspares. Whom was our absolute favorite pizza place when we lived near Vicksburg MI. It was our go to favorite of all. Back to Sweet Memphis. Unfortunately right off the bat we had bad luck with the 1st one, but the manager was more than happy to make it right with us. The 2nd Sweet Memphis we ordered was awesome and we discussed that we thought we had found our new favorite BBQ Pizza way better than another well known pizza establishment not far from Jaspares. Well I asked what was going to be the request for dinner tonight? It was unanimous order a Sweet Memphis from Jaspares! So I placed the order and it arrived sooner than the hour they told me it would take. Wow that's great! Then I picked up the box and it was barely warm, I said ahhhh I'm sure it's hot inside, nope hardly room temperature dog gone it! It was just ordered and made how can it not be piping hot? Not to mention it was dry hardly any BBQ sauce on it. Shake my head and by the few minutes it took us to dish it up put us in line for the microwave to heat up the Sweet Memphis. Needless to say we are very disappointed with this 3rd order thats 2 strikes outta 3 and sadly we feel that Jaspares will not be our go to pizza establishment again any time soon if at all and if asked for our opinion of Jaspares we will gladly share our previous experiences from Vicksburg which have always been highly recommended and here on Gull Rd. They have been positive for the most part we have frequented the restaurant quite a few times and enjoyed the food with friends yet these 2 outta 3 pizzas Sweet Memphis has really left us with a sour reviews between Quality of the food and or cold dry pizza delivery unfortunately it's been a big let down at our household . This was my first time having Jaspare's Pizza and its probably my new second favorite in town. It was pretty greasy (what pizza isn't?) but I dabbed it with some paper towels and it was great. The 3 cheese bread is amazing, and their Parmesan hand tossed crust is my favorite, especially if you ask them to cut it party style (square). The chicken pesto pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had. The tomato sauce for other pizzas is a little sweet for my taste, but still good. Not greasy like most pizzas. The salad bar is your typical pizza place deal.. The actual restaurant reminds me of the old Pizza Hut restaurants, not super fancy but good enough for having a beer, enjoying some food and watching the game. Bathrooms could use a little work as well, they're falling apart a bit, but useable haha. Jaspares is definitely worth a try :) read more

Ordered a gluten free pizza and got a burnt crust. We didn't check until we got home. I called to complain and Brett, the manager, fessed up that he was the one who put it in the box. Well - if the guy in charge can't see burnt offerings then what do you do? Go someplace else. The crust that was edible was really good. Tomato sauce is a rare commodity on their pizza. This place is still a joke. Bring a cooler with sandwiches and drinks if you go there. A couple dragged us back there, we were hopeful that they may have improved. I ordered from the sprinkle road location. The kid who answered the phone was unable to answer any of my questions. If you choose to swap out toppings you will get charged for the new toppings plus the ones that weren't included. Extra sauce is charged as an additional topping. The Jaspare's house special is supposed to come with extra cheese. Even when you are charged for it, extra cheese is not added. The pizza was only 12" and came to over $20 with delivery, and the flavor was marginal...way below expectations for what I was charged.Given the fact that there are other options locally that offer a far superior pizza for that amount of money, I will never order from Jaspare's Pizza again. read more
