I rarely give more than 4 stars in any review. Jaspers probably has some of the best burgers you can find in the rogue valley. They make their own house grind with a kobe beef trim, they also offer elk and some other exotic meats. For toppings they have some unique flavor combo offerings for their burgers and they also offer classic toppings as well. Fries, tots and sweet tater fries are also descent. read more

This is without a doubt the best burger place in the Medford area. The prices are a tiny bit higher than most others, but it's well worth the extra $1-3. Just be warned, it's no secret this place is the best so when it gets crazy busy their line can get really long. Still worth the wait though, if you're not in a rush. read more

I finally stopped in for a burger. It was crowded at lunch time. I was asked if I would share a table with a stranger. I agreed and met Angela. It was a pleasant experience. First time leaving a review, but this place was too amazing to not leave one. Traveling through Oregon on a road trip and came across Jasper's Cafe on yelp. We ordered The Jiffy Burger to-go to be adventurous and it was delicious! I would have never considered peanut butter on a hamburger to be a combo I would try, but now I would say it was the best burger I've ever tasted. I love the variety they have to offer! Not just burgers but three pages of burgers is pretty impressive. Let your imagination run wild! The fries and onion rings are amazing, as well as the milkshakes! I love this place and the best part is I can sit outside with my dog and they'll give him a free dog friendly ice cream. Went here for lunch and it was full, the food was good, everyone was super friendly and they even brought dog ice cream for our dogs. I was very disappointed with the wait though. A table that was seated well after us had already been served and were getting ready to leave by the time we got our food. I think we waited at least an hour for food. I'm not sure if she forgot to put our order in or what happened. But what was supposed to be a quick stop for lunch definitely was not quick. read more

This place is great! Jade was our waitress who totally made our whole experience. She was super friendly and helpful when it came to questions about the menu. Service was quick and the food tasted amazing. I came with my family, 6 of us, just visiting from California and we found Jasper's on yelp. So glad we came across this place and would highly recommend it to others. The ambiance is cute and small town with mostly outside seating and some inside. They had the place decorated for the 4th of July which is always fun. They were out of tater tots which was a little sad. The Little Yellow Jacket burger, Jiffy burger, onion rings, and sidewinder appetizer were our favorites! Only suggestion is that they extend their dinner hours to stay open a little later. But I'm from California and maybe it's a smaller town/Oregon thing where restaurants close early at 7pm. Otherwise it's a great burger joint and I'll definitely be back when visiting Medford again. read more

Been going to Jaspers since they opened. Used to be great - what a HUGE disappointment they've become. 1/3 lb. burger was dried out, 1 measly, thin tomato slice, no distinguishable mayo, mustard or relish, wilted lettuce, cold bun (seriously?!?!). Sad, soggy sweet potato fries.... all that after an hour wait. Sorry Jaspers, you've outgrown your capacity and I probably won't be back. read more

We were in Medford and looking for a solid burger experience. Jasper's was a great choice. The wait time, though off-putting for some perhaps, was not too bad and told me we must be into something good. The hostess was very friendly, came outside, and signed us in. She also offered to get us drinks while we waited. We looked over the menus and I was enthusiastic to try the various types of meat, including elk, wild boar, axis deer, and kangaroo. I chose the Jackaroo Burger and loved it! It was mouth watering. Good size juicy burger with all the trimmings. For the fearful out there, they do have the classic beef cheeseburgers and a large selection of other sandwiches with various toppings as well. I ordered a burger as soon as they opened, and it still took 35 minutes to get my food. In my opinion the quality is the same as Carls Jr for more than double the price. Each burger does not come with fries, and a large order was surprisingly smalI, plus they were obviously frozen. I will not be going back to this place under any circumstances. Got here at about 6:30 on a Wednesday. Place was pretty full so I figured it would be good. I was just visiting so I didn;t know what to expect. I was blown away. The burgers were awesome. I had a buffalo bill with buffalo meat. It was amazing. The frier was down so i didn't try the fries, but i didn't need to. This place was a true find. My burger was about $8. They have anything you could wish for on a burger, and a few things that sound just awful, but are delicious! There dogs are good too, decent beer and ok wine selection. After ordering our food, the server asked if we'd like to wait in our car and they'd bring our order to our us since it's a tiny space and was fairly packed. We agreed and went to our car, watched the sun go down and after about an hour of waiting my boyfriend decided to go in. They never apologized for forgetting to bring our order out... and in fact acted as though it had just been finished. (When the people who ordered after us were sitting at a table and had just finished eating their entire meal). My shake was warm, and our fries and food were ice cold. Delicious. Had the elk burger.It was the first time I ordered a burger that was not beef or buffalo. It was the most delicious burger I ever had with a big fat, juicy, elk patty in the middle with a delicious seasoning. Yes, it's expensive. But it's specialty dining.
