    Steak fajitas

Ambiance is very lovely here. There is some indoor and outdoor seating and both are nice, feels very upscale. The service is great too, everyone is very friendly. My water glass was never empty. Food is not bad but feels underwhelming for the price. We got the steak fajitas ($40) and carne tampiquenas ($55). The carne tampiquenas came with an 8oz steak (pretty dry and tough, asked for medium rare and came medium well), taquitos (also very dry) and shrimp enchilada ~ this was delicious. We came for a birthday celebration and they gave us a complimentary birthday ice cream dessert which was sweet. We had a nice time here but feels like you're paying for the ambiance rather than the food.

This place is so cute inside. The bar area has a lot of plants and nice ambience. It's a huge restaurant and gets very busy. My friend wanted to come here because she loves the margaritas. We each enjoyed different varieties of drinks. While she got a Cadillac I ordered a piña margarita. They are a bit pricey at $20 each. We did also order some food to share which was delicious. We got the taco, enchilada and chili rellano plate. The chicken was so tender and everything tasted amazing. My friend LOVED the refried beans. The service was great and the staff were on top of everything. Our drinks and food came out quickly, Our waters were kept full, Any extra dishes or cups were taken away immediately, and our table was wiped down. I really liked the attention to detail.

We came here to celebrate my birthday and it is a beautiful restaurant however the food wasn't the greatest for the price that they charge, very expensive so my husband and I were expecting great food. We had a carne asada salad since it says on the menu that any substitutions will be politely declined and I am diabetic due to a transplant. My husband had the trio enchilada (crab, lobster and shrimp) but it was nothing special. Service was outstanding, everyone here is very nice! The ambience and decorations are beautiful and very cozy.

The most preferred restaurant in all of Irvine. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and an excellent menu. If you are looking for an upscale Mexican seafood restaurant, you can't go wrong with Javier's. There is usually a wait here, and for good reason. It has a Tulum-like vibe with great music, lighting, and overall design. The complimentary chips and salsa are fire.

I enjoyed my first visit here with a friend. We dined on a holiday Sunday and many tables were not available as they were designated for dinner (we arrived at 1:00 pm. Service was very fast and efficient. We ordered the guacamole and chips and it was okay A not fantastic and sort of a small portion. My shrimp enchiladas were presented very well and were quite tasty. I considered the place rather high considering I've ordered the same dish on over a dozen other Mexican restaurants. I'm not complaining and just stating a fact. Overall our meal was very good. My guest ordered cheese enchiladas and complained that they were so firm he had to cut them with a knife. The waitress said they the way they were precise cheese is naturally heavy and often hard to cut with a fork. I'd return here in the future. But I'm not overwhelmed. It's a beautiful restaurant and very popular. So my opinion is based on one meal there.

Love the restaurant, service is good, food is good, ambiance is good but for the past FEW YEARS when we sit at the bar we stare a blue screen. It's hard or pay $350 for dinner at the bar and we are watching a blue screen. HOW CHEAP CAN GOI BE?

    Enchilada, Chile Relleno & Taco
    Annie L.

Ordered the Enchilada, Chile Relleno & Taco plate for $36. Which IMO, is very pricey for mediocre food. Had the Shredded Beef in my Crispy Taco and it was painfully dry meat, couldn't finish it. Just ate more of the shell. The rice and beans were good, chili Relleno not bad, but feel like the cheese could have been melted more. Enchilada had chicken in it and it was just ok. Food didn't have much flavor to it and everything needed salt. Service for food slow, but clearing plates and wiping down your table was very fast. Ambiance is nice and dark restaurant inside, but always get seated outside. It was very loud there too, hard to hear company. Plus had reservations at 6:30pm, but didn't get a table until 20 mins later, which doesn't make sense when you have reservations! Plus the calling out of names in a crowded area does not work well.

Top tier Mexican restaurant that is great for any celebration or date night. The portions are big and every ingredient is high quality and delicious. The interior is gigantic with lots of seating but still best to make a reservation on busy days. The seafood and meat boards are great for large parties for everyone to share and try different options. Fantastic service and great vibes.

Had a lovely lunch here- service was fast, food was delicious, and ambience was lively. Would consider this one of the more upscale Mexican restaurants; great if you're in the mood for surf and turf (though I'd have to say their seafood options are the star here), or could be a cute date spot! Love their complimentary chips and salsa- salsa has a good kick to it! Guac was really fresh but could've used some more lime. Overall all the options are yum but if I could only pick one type of dish here, it would definitely be an enchilada!

This is my second time eating at a Javiers restaurant, but this is the first time having the experience at this location. And it always turns out to be a pleasant one. This is an establishment that is frequently visited and gets packed very quickly, but overall, it seems that they tend to keep their Staffing to match the. Peak hours of the day. We receded in one of their rooms that holds about 12 to 15 people. Their chips and salsa are really good. But overall, their food and their drinks are really great. If you're looking for more of a little bit of an upscale experience around Mexican cuisine, this would be a pretty good choice to go with.

I haven't been to Javier's in so long and I still love it! This was my first time at the Irvine Spectrum location though. We went on a Sat afternoon and while the spectrum was packed, there wasn't a long wait. The food was delish just as in remembered and the decor is IG worthy! Parking kinda sucks if you don't know exactly where you're going, we ended up doing Valet parking which was the easiest.

Enjoyed dinner here on a Friday evening. Lovely restaurant, nice ambiance, and our server was attentive. Have to give Javiers 3 stars because by the time the food got to us, it was cold.

I recommend this place because it's a vibe it's sexy it's beautiful and upon walking in you hear the music smell the fragrant dishes you wanna be here and are looking forward to your dining experience. Once seated our server was right on it took our drink orders and dinner orders I don't remember his name but he was super nice and offered some drink and dinner suggestions. I ordered the pineapple margarita annnnnd loved it! The chili verde was fantastic! Carnitas dish came with rice, beans and guacamole the meat was really tasty. Four people 5 drinks, 3 dinners, I salad, 2 appetizers $270 Overall I recommend this place no complaints but at the same time there's was not a dish that I think I will be craving and think I need to go back. Food was ok good. The ambiance the drinks and the great for groups and celebrations yes I will think oh let's go to Javier's!

    Yes, 100% (:

Is there a happy hour at Javier's?

Tiffany There's no live music and unless you want to dance up close and personal by the bar area there's isn't no area

Do they have a kid's menu? The website doesn't show one.

You can call them. They have a phone number and they answer their calls

Hi, how can I make a reservation without calling?

I believe calling them is the only option, as you can't make it on Yelp, this location is also not on a open table or an option to make it online directly through their website.

Can you bring a bottle of wine or champagne if you pay a cork fee?

Hi. Yes, you can bring a bottle of wine or champagne. The cork fee is $30. Enjoy!

    Yes

Yelp says they deliver. Which delivery service(s)?

    No they do not deliver.

Does anyone know if they are open?

They're open (: Been open for a while I believe

When can we finally eat here? Everyone is opening for dine in and still nothing (insert cry face)?

They just reopened last Saturday! It's open now for outdoor dining!

When are they reopening for dine-in?

Just went by today & it looks totally closed down. Still under construction. Sunday Oct 18 '20

Do they have a corkage fee?

    They might but not sure.

Do they have happy hours if so what days and time?

They do not really have a Happy Hour. There are a lot of people, good energy, just no specialty drinks or discounted foods

Will the margarita pitchers ever come back? It's a shame they got taken away because some people couldn't limit their alcohol intake.

They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! And to be honest it wasn't that bad. I'll say, speakeasy's usually shine in the drink department vs food. Drinks -Lycheed and Loaded Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, elderflower. This was extremely delicious! If you don't like to taste your alcohol? Go with this. It was really refreshing. Hand this to me at a spa and I'd be the happiest gal in the world -Camp Anawanna $17 Graham cracker-infused bourbon, licor 43, chocolate, torched marshmallow (the waitress catches the marshmallow on fire at the table) This one was stronger and I didn't think it was overly sweet despite the ingredients I think they had a good selection, especially for a small speakeasy. I have been to better, so I don't think I'd return. Especially since the service was not that great. We still had a good time and recommend for every speakeasy lovers list.

We spent 3 hours in there and it flew by so quickly. The ambiance and feel here was just truly top notch. Our waitress was Brandy, or is it Brandi? She was super cool. She was a one person crew. Basically getting orders, making drinks, cleaning tables, and checking in on us. And she did it with great charisma, attitude and personality. Super knowledgeable about the menu. Made great drinks quickly. And was just super personable. Great job from her!! Her attitude and demeanor really matched the top tier aura they were going for here. They have a great selection of drinks. From more alcohol forward drinks to light and fruity drinks to refreshing drinks. I really did enjoy their drink selections. We had a total of about 6 drinks and they were all really good! We got there: 1. Fox's wedding- light, seeet and refreshing. I love the origami piece that Brandy put on it as well. Looked so beauitful. 2. Guava chiffon pancake- it was tropical, light but also had a coconut feel to it. It was really good. 3. The Monroe- this was light but tart, but not too tart. Silky with fruit forward notes. 4. Miso honey butter corn- rarely is a savory cocktail good. But this one was pretty good. The butter fat washed burbon was super intriguing. But it works well 5. Smoked Old Fashion- presentation is amazing. Comes in a big glass case that has cherry wood smoke inside. When you open it, you get that intense smell of burning cherry wood. Drink is smokey but in a very good way. Tasted amazing. A true classic done right. Their food menu is very encompassing and thorough as well. From full on burgers, to flat breads, to appetizers and small bites, to salads. They have a little of everything!! We ordered the following: 1. Pub nachos- this was an extremely large plate of loaded nachos. Super crunchy and fresh. I loved the generous amount of Chipotle chicken on top. The pepper jack queso sauce and jalapeño crema was a really good sauce. It just binded everything together. The beans and the fresh jalapeño just really all worked together. It was super good. Kept you grazing and munching away, but never becoming too full (more room for their drinks!!). 2. Figgy piggy flat bread- it was ok. Sweet caramel onions and fig jam, paired with some pungent cheeses. I thought it was pretty good. 3. Shrimp street tacos- 1 order comes with 2 tacos. They were good sizes. I love their tacos. So flaverful. Everything works together. Just tasted amazing!! Overall everything about this place is 5 stars. The ambiance, the decor, the exclusivity. The service. The drinks and the food. As i said 3 hours went by so fast!! Definitely a must try when in the area. And when you stay at the Marriott, its just a simple walk back to your room. And we left feeling happy and amazing. The service was top notch; from the hostess who greeted us, to Eric our front waiter who was incredible, to the staff who supported him. And the food was as expected - superb. My wife loved her gigantic garlic-roasted Black Tiger prawn app. The bread service, beef filets, Alaskan halibut, double-cut pork chop, Red King crab and truffle gnocchi, creamed corn and sautéed green beans were wonderful.
