After a long day at SeaWorld, I decided to stop by H Mart to get a few snacks. It was pretty late, around 8pm and most of the food court and bakery have closed. I saw this one Korean street food store and decided to give it a try. Despite closing in less than 30 minutes, the cashier was extremely friendly and even offered to turn on the slush machine she had been thawing out just so I could try it. Our food came out within 15 minutes served by such a woman on the front counter. There was plenty of seating in the food court since they were about to close. It was clean and we didn't feel rushed at all. When we got our food I was surprised to see how large the chicken was. It tasted amazing and was really spicy. The spicy pork bowl was a large portion as well and tasted amazing. As for the star of the show, the rose topokki soup, I give it a 10/10. There were many toppings from fried fish cakes, fish cakes, rice cakes, quail eggs, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The sauce tasted amazing as well. I recommend trying this place if you're in the area. It tasted amazing and was worth the price! Next time I go back I'll have to try their gimbap. The Gimbap was okay. Not bad but I felt it could have more rice around. It packed nicely for to-go order, but we were eating in there. I was able to try the deep fried set in the smallest size which is marked with an (m) and it was perfect for 1 person. It came with 2 pieces of squid, 1 sweet potato, 1 dumpling, and 1 gimmari. The tuna gimbap was good, really light and fresh. My favorite was the bulgogi gimbap, it was filling and had a great sweet taste which paired well dipped in a side of spicy mayo which isn't included so I recommend asking for a side of that (it is an additional cost FYI I can't remember if it was 50 cents, it was no more than $1 though). As a big fan of korean spicy rice cakes, I was excited that Jaws Express opened in the HMart food court. For what it's worth, $7 for a good sized rice cake portion with fish cakes, fried fish cake slices, a quail egg, and half a fried dumpling is a great deal!! I always come to H-Mart but have never ate here before! I had the Duo Set which is their fried sides and the Jaws Topokki (which I ordered "spicy"). It was pretty good. I've never had Korean rice cakes before, they were sweet and chewy which was nice, though I think the meal could've used more substance (it felt really carb heavy, usually I like some type of protein or more veggies with my food). I didn't really like the quail egg in it either, it was small but had a weird dusty taste, I would've preferred if they used chicken eggs instead. Overall though the soup in it was pretty flavorful and it was an enjoyable meal, it definitely reads as street food but it was tasty and an interesting experience. Bonus suggestions: if you order the "spicy" level of the Jaws Topokki I would suggest getting a drink with it, because while it wasn't unbearably spicy I don't think I could've finished my meal without one. Also the servings are HUMONGOUS, I have no idea if there's a way to order a smaller version lol (I'll check next time) but I think the duo set could be shared between two people. read more

Granted it doesn't taste anything like the original ddukbokki you find at a Jaws in Korea, but it was good in its own way.
