    Jaws slushy and sikhye slushy
    Jason S.

We went for dinner the other night. There is a lot of parking available. The restaurant is small but plenty of seating inside. We started off with a Jaws slushy which was a tasty blend of strawberry and blue raspberry. We also got the sikhye slush. Sikhye is already my favorite but to have it in slush form is so much better. We got a beef rib gimbap. A good size gimbap that was fresh and flavorful. We also got a beef bulgolgi rice bowl. A huge portion of tasty of beef bulgolgi, rice and grilled vegetables. And then we got a Jaws combo with Jajang tipokki soup, fried chicken, seaweed rolls and dumplings. Another huge portion of food. The jajang soup is so tasty and we kept dipping all of the deep fried food into it. The topokki itself was soft and chewy, just perfect. Great service and large portions of food will have you coming back for more.

Rose tteokbokki + spicy pork kimbap + fried shrimp kimbap (SOLID - would recommend all of them)
    Lina T.

I'm gonna start off by saying the fried shrimp is an absolute must! The crunch, the flavor, the proportion, everything was just great. The bulgogi was nicely seasoned, not too sweet and well-balanced. The spicy pork had a slight kick but nothing too crazy. Good flavors! The beef rib is actually one I didn't like. I thought it was a bit bland and really needed some kind of sauce to go with it. I would suggest the wasabi one. Even then, not a favorite. The rose tteokbokki was nice! Normally it's pretty heavy at places I've had it. This one the cream is lighter and personally I love that more. Although, it doesn't stick on the rice cake as much as thicker sauces, I do prefer it more. They give bacon slices and even a quail egg in there. I love that they have a half portion size (normally a full is way too much for me), so I appreciate it. The service was also very nice! All of the workers were very kind and it was such a homey setting. I would highly recommend you come support this small business. They also have a catering party tray, which I, of course, ordered after doing a trial run of their food. Can't wait to get my kimbap fix from here in the future!

TLDR - Food is okay, service is okay, vibes are homey. Get the chicken! I would start off by saying that the interior is really clean and it's a good place for you to sit down and have a meal with friends or family. But in terms of service, when you enter, you're met with a kiosk so there isn't really any human interaction - just you and a screen. For some people that might be a plus, for me it was a minus. The important stuff - the food. TBH the food is pretty average in terms of korean food. HOWEVER, their chicken is arguably some of the best tenders I've had lol. It's just seasoned so well and has a good kick to it. I'd recommend the chicken. The TPK is standard and okay but by no means is it bad. I would say it's better than it is bad. The kimbap is average- nothing crazy, and I'd say the same for the soondae. Overall, I'd say that across the board, I had a good experience but mainly because the experience wasn't bad LOL

We were in the area and I wanted to try this place. I love Korean cuisine so I was naturally interested. We ordered the Jaws combo which includes TPK, choice of soup (which we chose Jangjang soup) and a couple fried items. We also ordered Beef Rib Gimbap, Bulgolgi Rice Bowl and we got Sikhye and Jaws slushies to drink. When the food arrived I was wowed by the presentation of the TPK and fried items. The Jangjang was sweet and spicy but not too spicy. It was really good. The two of us weren't able to finish it and we could eat. We both loved the Bulgolgi rice bowl - we cleared that one. The slushies were both refreshing. I really like the Jaws theme, they should have lighting fx to make it look like we're underwater! I'll definitely come back for the rest of the menu

I recently visited Jaws Topokki and it honestly felt like I was back in Korea. This place has some of the best Korean street food I've had in the U.S. The Tokbokki was perfectly chewy with a rich, flavorful sauce, and everything tasted so authentic. I also tried the kimbap, dumplings, and fried seaweed rolls (kim-mari), and they were all delicious Especially when dipped in the Tokbokki sauce, just like how it's done in Korea! The variety of classic street food really gave me that nostalgic, "walking through a Korean street market" vibe. :) On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. If you're craving real Korean street food, this spot is definitely worth visiting!

First time with the family here and we ordered the Jaws Combo for the three of us. It was plenty of food. The boy loved the fried chicken and we loved the Mala Rose Topokki Soup! The seaweed rolls and the dumplings were surprisingly delicious too! Dinner was so good that we got a Beef Rib Gimbap and a Bulgogi Gimbap to go as well.

This place offers From tteokbokki and gimbap to fried bites and ramen -- quick, comforting, and satisfying. Must-try: Rose tteokbokki (creamy, cheesy, not too spicy), generously filled gimbap, and crispy-on-the-outside cheese balls IG: socalhkfoodies

Great environment, very clean place, nice decorations. Service was extremely friendly and helpful, gave very nice mom/pop shop vibes. The food was very delicious, I added ramen and brisket to the rose topokki which was the perfect amount. My favorite was the tuna gimbap and the blood sausage especially with the sauces.

I ordered delivery from doordash and got tteokbokki, tuna kimbap, and sundae. The tteokbokki was spicy and really tasty. The kimbap was a bit disappointing as it had a slightly off smell, especially the carrots inside, which tasted a little old. It was still edible, but not the freshest. Overall, the fried items were crispy and really good, and I still enjoyed the meal despite the kimbap issue.

Food was tasty and fast! Came with my 3 yo toddler and spice level was perfect. Got bulgogi and rose topokki and was wonderful lunch for us two. Owner is so friendly and nice. Gave us complimentary sikhye slushie, thank you!

A taste of the homeland! Great prices and great food. We fed two with the Friend Combo and it was the perfect amount. I would def ask about spice level if you're sensitive with spice. They said the regular spice level was spicier than the Shin Ramen so I would keep a look out on the spice levels!! Amazing service and the interior is super cute. Also, the drink on the left is SO good!!!! It's like a Jaws Bar ice cream

We stopped by for lunch the other day since we were in the area and needed somewhere that served something for all our different cravings, and this ended up being perfect. Kiddo got his fried chicken and jaws slushie, hubs got his spicy rose mala toppoki, and I got the comforting fish cake soup and kimbap to soothe my weary soul. The Jawsome Set is such an amazing deal! You can choose different sauces and toppings, and the new rose mala sauce might just be our favorite sauce we've tried with toppoki so far. It was loaded with bulgogi, fish cakes, quail eggs, potato noodles, and cheese. It also came with Korean sausage, a set of deep fried goodies like shrimp and dumpling stuffed with noodles, and a huge portion of fish cake soup to share. We added the fried chicken and kimbap to satisfy our cravings but we ended up with a lot of leftovers. The owners were so sweet, they explained the menu and took such good care of us while we dined. You can tell this spot is super new, it's so clean and bright. I def wanna come back with friends and hang out over beer. They even have a make your own ramen station that we want to try next time.

Picked up a few items to go for lunch today and I was both surprised and disappointed at how bad the food was. The sullungtang was very greasy and the color was off, a dark brown. The beef was not trimmed properly, so half was just fat. To be frank, it was disgusting. There were bits and pieces of fat floating in the soup. The donkatsu went in the trash after a few bites. It was obviously reheated. The breading was more like that of a chicken tender and not that of donkatsu. The darkness of the outer cut portions (the pork) the katsu is obvious indication of reheating rather than fresh. I don't know if there is a new cook, new owner, or worst case they are serving subpar food from previous day. Maybe one or none of the above. This is one of the few times I've thrown away the majority of the food I purchased for take out from any restaurant. My background is in f&b and hospitality management so I would not give this type of review, especially to a small business unless there was a legitimate reason. While I respect the amount of work and dedication it takes to run a restaurant, there is a responsibility to provide customers with a quality product that aligns with the menu pricing. Beyond the product, ruining someone's lunch break is a sure fire way to lose an existing customer. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
