They only had one fan running the whole time we were there. The restroom door was hard to operate as you have to put a lot of force to lock and unlock the door. Got the 4-scoops for $18.99. Got half salad and brown rice. There was a lot of brown rice compared to greens. For protein, got the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and octopus. Got all of the vegetables except for the jalapeno. For sauces, got the creamy cilantro and creamy sesame. Got all of the toppings except for the wasabi. For the dry topping got the crunchy onion and sesame seed. All of the fish tasted fresh. Pokimania is my go-to spot for poke. I am so happy I tried this place out about three years ago, I've been going here ever since. First, the service is incredible. The staff members are welcoming, patient, and quick. The food here is by far a standout. The fish quality is always really good and the serving size is amazing. There was another poke place I went to in Chino Hills (that has since closed) that had such a small serving size for the price. Pokimania gives you a great serving size and the quality is always top tier. I normally get either the 3-scoop or the 4-scoop, and it is plenty to fill you up. Only thing I am sad about is that I think recently (within the last 6-months) they changed their wonton chips and I liked the old ones better. Okay, I admit. I cheated on Pokimania earlier this week and immediately regretted it. But what can I say? I was out of the area! Anyway. Today, they have redeemed themselves! I have been eating since opening. Today I went for lunch. The young man Who waited on me considered that small scooper as I scooped which maybe holds 2-3 pieces of protein. I would list all the other ingredients but it's basically the same as any other Poke place. Just depends how MUCH and WHAT sides & toppings you want. Remember: You can have ALL the sides & toppings you see, BUT the total blended taste will drown out each (individual) item without fail. Pokimania is still by far my favorite poke place in the area, though I have noticed that they have been increasing their prices quite a bit in recent times. The fish always tastes fresh and the workers are always friendly and nice. The only thing I have to say is that the workers here are often inconsistent with portion size and with charging customers. Sometimes, I get charged for getting one scoop of imitation crab and one scoop of spicy crab, sometimes I don't because they allow me to get 2 scoops since I never get avocado. On top of that, sometimes my bowl is filled to the brim and sometimes a 5 scoop feels more like a 3 scoop. Aside from that small critique, I still love coming here just as much as I used to. I've been to many poke places in the area, but none hit the spot like Pokimania does.
