This place used to be Rubio's, great to see how they transformed it into this restaurant. It is clean and there is plenty of seating. There are multiple people working and they are quite nice. When you are seated they give you a pitcher of water and a pitcher of hot tea. The chopsticks and spoons they have are stored on the side. My beloved aunt treated me for my first experience. They have such a big menu, I cant wait to try some of the other items. They have SO many different ban chans, at least 7 different kinds that alternate. My cousin said the last time they had japchae but it seemed this time we got eggplant. We tried the Steamed Pork Combo with the Seafood Tofu Soup. They do have purple rice. This was my first time wrapping with NAPA and it was actually quite good. I would recommend ordering the Samjang sauce (bean sauce) to eat with it. For 2 people this was more then enough food, I was so stuffed, we barely finished. Would love to take my family and try some other dishes next time. Until then!

There's something incredibly satisfying about finding a solid Korean spot close to home, and Mindeulle Korean Restaurant absolutely delivered. I went with two classics I always judge a Korean kitchen by: mul naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and the short rib combo. The naengmyeon arrived beautifully chilled, the broth icy and clean with a balanced tang and subtle heat that didn't overpower. The noodles had that perfect chewy elasticity -- exactly what you want. Refreshing, sharp, and deeply comforting all at once. The short ribs were served sizzling on a hot plate, caramelized at the edges with a savory-sweet marinade that penetrated the meat. Tender without being overly fatty, and paired perfectly with the multigrain rice. Each bite had that smoky depth you hope for in a well-executed galbi. The banchan spread was fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- bright kimchi, seasoned greens, and small sides that complemented rather than distracted. Nothing felt rushed or careless. Service was warm and efficient, and the overall experience felt polished yet comforting -- the kind of place that satisfies both cravings and standards. Safe to say I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.

We visited on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't really that busy. A few more parties coming in after 6pm! Restaurant is also very spacious. I like how the servers here are older Korean ladies, so it feels more welcoming and authentic here. We ordered Yuk Gae Jang, Dumpling Soup, and the Octopus Bibimbap around. Portion sizes are actually pretty big. The prices here are also a lot higher than many tofu houses I've seen, probably because they give a lot more for a dish? I mainly had the dumpling soup and it was pretty good! I was getting mildly sick, so this was quite soothing for throat. Dumplings were also pretty huge, and pretty good! Although, I wish it came with noodles like the Yuk Gae Jang. I did like how there were pieces of beef in mines. The octopus bibimbap was also pretty good, the octopus sizes are thick! The banchan was also pretty fresh. Overall, food and service were all pretty good. Prices are still kinda high for what it is, but pretty legit Korean food in the Chino Hills area.

I had a wonderful time at Mindeulle. There's plenty of parking spots in this area and this place was filled by lunch time. I'll be honest, I was not expecting an amazing, authentic Korean restaurant here. My parents-in-law (Korean) ordered spicy soup with pollack hot pot and marinated beef (bulgogi). The soup was well seasoned with spices and the meat was well prepared. Service by the ahjummas we great.

Great spot for Korean food! Nengmyun was really good and they cut the noodles at your table. The broth is a more slushy/icy broth, which I enjoy more compared to ice cubes in broth. The spicy pork was great, and the combo with the nengmyun had a good portion for being in a combo. The kalguksu was good as well. The restaurant had good service, and the inside was polished and clean. Will be back!

Getting my hair done in the area and felt like Korean food. A quick look at Yelp and we found this place. Easy parking and great menu, so much to choose from. My son got the wrap combo with boiling pork slices. Lots of vegetables! Loved the banchan and they were generous with refills. Jennifer was our server and she recommended the beef short rib soup, so tender but she also cut it in bite-size slices for me. I really liked this place and will definitely be back.

Great service, plenty of parking available. The staff were very accommodating and the food was amazing! So happy to have authentic Korean food nearby. Got the chicken ginseng soup and it tastes home cooked. Definitely will be coming back. The leek pancake was so crispy and delicious and highly recommend great flavors all around. The sides were pretty tasty too and everything tasted freshly prepped and not day old. Look forward to coming back to try out their other dishes. If you're in the area, 100/10 recommend for individuals or groups as there is plenty of seating available and the restaurant and restroom are very tidy. They offer other popular Korean dishes as well such as pork belly or galbi. I saw large portions of kimchi and meat as well and I'm so happy to have some yummy Korean food in the inland empire. Conveniently located across from outdoor shoppes so you can even go for a walk or grab a coffee or tea drink across the street. We went on a weekday during opening hours for a quick lunch and the wait was not long at all. The food came out quickly and it was steaming hot and aromatic. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming and overall seem like a happy staff and that's how I can tell they are a good establishment.

Happy to say Mindeulle is still one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the IE and a strong contender against many spots I've tried in OC. I've brought several friends who are avid Korean food lovers and it's a hit every time. On this visit, I finally tried their bossam and it more than satisfied my cravings. The pork was cooked perfectly, and their radish kimchi was easily one of the best I've had. We also ordered the braised black cod (one of my go-to dishes here and always a standout). Their banchan is made fresh and rotates seasonally but it's consistently impressive. You can truly taste the care in every bite. I also love that they serve purple rice. Service on this visit was spectacular they were especially generous with the sides. The ambiance is cozy, well-lit, and clean. Very authentic, very comforting.

First time here and so glad we came. Service was attentive, the Korean shows and music made it feel truly authentic. Spicy pork was a 10/10 and the chicken ginseng soup was hearty and comforting. Already planning to come back for the pork belly bossam!

Came to Mindeulle and really enjoyed the experience! It seems like they specialize in much larger portions which fits the Korean bill of social eating so come with a large party. My favorite of the night was probably the bossam. The pork was crisp but tender and I liked all the traditional fixings like steamed cabbage, sliced jalapeños, sliced garlic, and perilla leaves. Everything was fresh and paired well together. I do wish the cabbage leaves were bigger though. I did also appreciate the experience of trying the raw marinated crab. The tomalley mixed with rice, seaweed, toasted sesame, and sesame oil was...mmm, chef's kiss! The texture of the crab was also deliciously creamy with a fresh brininess but I wish they had cracked more parts of the crab to facilitate eating it. I also really enjoyed the mix of banchan - some were really unique like the clam miso marinated cucumber or the tempura eggplant. Others were just classic and delicious like the marinated bean sprouts, marinated spinach and kimchi. I would definitely welcome a return whenever I'm in Chino Hills!

Service was quick and the portions here are bigger than Young Dong. The banchan are good and we kept asking for more refills. The soup is tasty. Although the combo is a little pricy it is a lot to share for 2.

My mother wanted Korean food for her birthday, and my sister-in-law (who is Korean) chose this restaurant for the celebration. It was our first time visiting, and we had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive and was so sweet to my mom, which made the celebration feel extra special. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We had the boiled pork bossam with side dishes, braised black cod, and braised short ribs, and the seafood and green onion pancake. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The standout dishes for me were the braised black cod and the seafood pancake. The cod was perfectly flaky, tender, and full of flavor, and my dad especially loved it, while the pancake was thick, crispy, and generously packed with seafood. Even my parents, who are usually very critical when it comes to food, thoroughly enjoyed every dish. A special thank you to Michelle, who was especially warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit (as well as the amazing staff)! We truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Went to Mindeulle Korean Restaurant in Chino Hills last weekend and honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. The food was really good--seasoned perfectly and felt super authentic, like something you'd find in a real Korean mom-and-pop spot. We tried a few dishes, and everything had that deep, comforting flavor that makes you want to order extra rice just to soak it all up. The kimchi and side dishes were fresh too, not the lazy kind some places throw together. Portion sizes were decent but could definitely be a bit larger, especially considering the prices. It's not cheap, but you can taste that the ingredients are quality and cooked with care, so I didn't mind too much. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive without being pushy, which made the meal easy-going and relaxed. Only downside was the floor, it didn't look super clean, which kinda threw off the otherwise nice vibe. But aside from that, everything else was on point. I'd give it a solid 4 stars for great food and good service. Definitely worth coming back when I'm craving proper Korean comfort food.

I cannot handle spicy food due to stomach condition. What are my options here for dinner?

They does modify the spiciness unless the sauce is pre cooked. My friend was satisfied with her non spicy stew.😋

    What are the lunch specials?

Is there any vegetarian options or anything that can be made vegetarian? I want to take my mom but she gets uncomfortable when I can't eat with her 😭

Scrolled through maps and spotted a new Korean spot near The Shoppes - turns out it's a chain that finally made its way to Chino Hills. Say less. Walked in and the place was buzzing with Korean being spoken at every table. Sat down and immediately knew we were in good hands. Army Stew Saw it on the new menu and ordered without hesitation. When it hit the table, the pot was still bubbling away - piled high with tofu, sausage, spam, veggies, and ramen noodles. Gave it a stir and that savory, spicy aroma just hit you right in the face. Every spoonful was spicy in the best way - the kind that keeps you going back for more. The table next to us watched us devour it and literally flagged down the server to order the same thing. LA Galbi Another new addition. Came out sizzling on a hot plate, the short ribs charred perfectly on the edges - crispy outside, tender inside. Solid. Maeum Galbi Jjim This one was on just about every table. We got the M size with added cheese - pulled a piece of rib up and got that glorious cheese pull going on. The glass noodles underneath soaked up all that spicy sauce - slippery, savory, and absolutely slurp-worthy. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy too. Seoul Haus Dumpling Stuffed generously and juicy - bit into one and the broth came running out. Value Here's the real kicker. Normally at places like Sunnongdan, you're dropping at least $100 on a single order of braised short ribs - forget about it if you're not with a group. Here? The M size runs around $28.99 and easily feeds two. Plus the banchan (side dishes) are refillable. Parking Plaza parking is plentiful - no circling around like a lost soul. Bottom line: Great food, generous portions, and actually reasonable prices for what you're getting. This one's going into the regular rotation. Pro tip: Come hungry and bring a friend - the portions are no joke.

Unfortunately, this experience may have been my last visit. We were seated in the private room, and the experience was honestly disappointing. One of the burners was malfunctioning, which made cooking our food take forever. On top of that, the exhaust vents weren't working properly, so the room became very smoky. The floors were also extremely slippery. We had to help our 74-year-old mom walk around to make sure she didn't slip and fall. At one point, the staff left us unattended for quite a while while our grills were smoking heavily and almost caught fire. That was especially concerning and made us feel unsafe. The food itself was good, and the price is definitely reasonable, but the overall experience needs improvement. Wang Cho has the potential to be a great spot, but if issues like these continue, they risk losing loyal customers. I really hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes some improvements.
