I recently took the Park Tool class with Cory, and now I have a better understanding of what a bike mechanic legend is. His extensive bicycle knowledge was very apparent as soon as I saw him tinkering with bikes or my bike for that matter. I am extremely grateful that I didn't procrastinate or pass on taking the course. It was a fantastic experience and I was able to swap and upgrade parts on my bike "myself"--with Cory's support. I am honored I was able to do this with assistance from Cory. Since then, I have decided that, as long as circumstances allow, I will always take my bikes to their shop for servicing. The store is one of the elite distributors in Orange County. If you think you want an electronic bike here is where you can touch and ride them to be certain how it feels when you arr on it. Atmosphere: 4 stars. Place is a little crowded with bikes but it is clean. Service: 5 star. Management is very knowledgeable about the bikes and rules around them. Value: 5 stars. If I had bought one last year I could sell it used for what I paid it. With inflation it is cheaper to buy now. Quality: 5 star. he bikes top quality These two wheeled vehicles can get up to 28 mph and cover a distance of 40 miles depending on the road and if one is going up hill. If the store has one shortcoming it is that it sells out of its best bikes. They do, however, take pre-orders. They also do custom orders and alterations. I believe repairs as well. The owner, Andrew, is an electrical engineer and quite knowledgeable about the wiring and power supply. His wife is a lawyer, so his clear on the laws and freedoms about riding them in bike lanes and such. They can be recharged with a ordinary wall outlet. They have the potential to save a great deal of gasoline by using them for local errands and grocery shopping. The shop is clean and has some excellent sodas.

I had them do a complete service along with putting on new tires and tubes. within a moth of having the new tires, the rear tire came completely apart from the inside out, due to a manufacture defect. they REFUSED to even consider replacing the tire and said they didn't have time to contact the tire manufacture to get it replaced under warranty. Their customer service is HORRIFIC!!!! I took the bike back to Murf. They immediately looked at the tire and said the tire had a manufacture defect. Murf Bikes was so disappointed that I had such a bad experience with Buy My Bikes that they replaced the tube and tire for me. They also gave me other authorized repair facilities to us in the future.

Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

He knows what he's doing and judging by the cars on his lot and shop, he's an artist when it comes to customizing. My daughter spent the summer selling lemonade to purchase an e-bike. She raised $560, which she had enough money to purchase a bike at Laguna Beach E-bike. After helping adjust the bike, this guy went wrong. The bakes were not working abs problem with steering. I took the bike to Jax Bicycle Center, where I met with GM Braxton Schlaf, who stated their corporate policy was not to work on bike they did not sale. He stated it was a liability for them to do so, so it had to be Trek or some thing like that. When asked what the liability whorls be to look at the brakes and steering, he stated he put a e-bike on the rack once and he accidentally hit the accelerator and could have chopped off his finger. I stated I would remove the battery, but he stated he could not, the company would fire him, if he did. After stating I was just looking for someone to make sure my daughter's bike was safe, he stated I would need to find someone else. Well I did, Samantha at Rock N Road Cycle, took the bike in, found the two thing I did wrong, fixed the issue and told me how I could correct it next time, for $25. I do not think Samantha was a manager, but her skills were better then that at Jax Bicycle Center! I feel she will go a long way in customer service. I would bringer in to my hotel company if she wanted. I will be using Rock N Road for my bikes and business now on. Thanks you Samantha, You are the best! I did not buy my bike here, I am not a "cute blonde", and I have nevertheless gotten TERRIFIC service every time I've stopped in. Bike shops everywhere are stuffed with good people who really care about what they do; if they didn't, they would be going after big bucks somewhere else. Grouchy customers, please pay attention to your own attitudes when you walk into a business: a chip on your shoulder in not going to earn you a smile in return, I don't care how much money you have to spend ... The best time to speak up, if you're being ignored, is AT THE SHOP; otherwise how can they help you??? read more

I purchased a Madone 3.1 from JP at Jax's. JP was extremely friendly, offered a great package deal on my bike and Taylor placed all the equipment /components on the bike (no additional cost), and was also extremely friendly - their customer service has definitely improved from what I have read above! I would definitely recommend Jax's Bike Shop on Crown Valley to a friend. read more

About one year and half ago I bought a Trustmade e bike from powerhouse for $1,000. About three months ago the bike stopped working. I was unable to power the bike. I called Powerhouse and told them about the problem. I was more than happy to pay for the repair. They informed me that there was nothing they could do. They said I would have to contact the manufacturer, order the part that needed replacing and take it to a shop that does repairs to fix it. Basically it was my problem to deal with. I emailed the manufacturer numerous times. I got no response. I tried calling them at various numbers I found on the internet and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left messages and no one responded. So I basically bought a bike for $1,000 that lasted 18 months. Like I said the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. But in retrospect I should have bought the bike from a store that offers some kind of support and help when things go wrong. If you buy a bike from here just know that if anything goes wrong you're on your own.

They said they had more than Factor bikes. They had Bianchi, Wilier, Orbeas, Factor, Cipollini and yes, Pinarelos. Probably a whole lot more. They got some really high quality stuff. So it was worth a stop in their shop. My gosh, am I glad I went. Their shop was filled with all the coolest bike builds on display. They had some of the coolest wheels on the walls. They got vintage Colnago and Bianchi frames built up. This wasn't a bicycle wholesale shop. It was a custom, built it according to the customer, kind of shop. I got a chance to chat with Chary, and was he fun to chat with. He's got all the insights, know-hows and latest news. He's got all the tips and advice to help you build a super cool bike. Chary is here to work with you on your dream build. Over the next few months, I worked with Chary on a bike build. There were a few hiccups along the way but nothing that the shop wasn't ready to address with the manufacturers/distributors. One thing became very obvious at this point. I dropped my ride off at Craig's shop and he walked me through the diagnosis and how he would remedy the problem. He is very credentialed and has run a full fledged bike shop and has repaired various bike types. The shop has that family owned/organic vibe to it; not a run of the mill corporate feeling at all! Disappointing support from MURF Electric Bikes…read more I am writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience regarding a premature battery failure on my MURF Electric Bikes e-bike. The bike has only 800 total miles on it and is just 3 months past the standard warranty expiration. For a component as critical and expensive as an e-bike battery, failing after only 800 miles points to a clear manufacturing defect or a faulty Battery Management System (BMS). When the battery stopped working, I took it to an independent local bike shop and spent $50 out of pocket to have it professionally diagnosed. Their conclusion was clear: the battery itself was defective, and my best bet was to take it directly back to the manufacturer, MURF Electric Bikes, at their San Clemente showroom where I originally purchased it. When I reached out to MURF Electric Bikes support, the initial response was highly disappointing. Adhering strictly to the calendar date rather than the incredibly low mileage, they initially only offered a 25% discount on a brand-new replacement battery. After a great deal of back-and-forth and pushback on my part regarding reasonable product lifespan expectations, they finally adjusted their offer to $550 plus tax for a replacement. While I appreciate that they eventually moved on the price, requiring a customer to spend over $550 out of pocket to fix a premium e-bike with only 800 miles on the odometer is unacceptable. A quality lithium-ion battery should easily last several thousand miles. Prospective buyers looking into MURF Electric Bikes should be aware that if a major component fails shortly after the warranty date--even with very minimal use--you may be left holding a significant bill for a replacement.
