This is by far and away the best bike shop I have ever dealt with. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. No high pressured sales pitches. They ask you a lot of questions and then suggest what they think is the right product. Best of all they have amazing service. They will go out of their way to help as quickly and efficiently as possible. They had my bike in and out with a new replacement rear brake in 30 min's after I was quoted two weeks by another store. I'm trying to get into the biking scene so I've been shopping around and trying to educate myself on what bike I would like. Came into this business and felt extremely awkward because no one would help me or give me some insight into getting my first bike. Asked a worker if there's a section of "hybrid" bikes or if there's a way to kind of tell which bikes would be good for road/light trails and he said, "not really" and walked away. :/ If anybody would of actually helped me out or walked me through the process of finding my first bike I would of bought one today. Instead just got zero service, zero insight, kept the money I wanted to spend, and literally walked out of this store 2 minutes after I walked in. Really disappointed considering I drove out to this store specifically on my day off because of the reviews. My husband and I purchased bikes here for our 6-year-old twins a couple after Christmas. I called the store and spoke to Evan, he was extremely friendly and recommended bikes suitable for their age, and answered all of my questions about gears vs. no gears, tire size, etc. We chose the colors online then called him back and the bikes were assembled and ready to pick up the next day! I was floored! I honestly thought it would take months. We came into the store and Evan helped us get the kids fitted for helmets, and they picked out bells and streamers, which he was able to get assembled on the bikes so we didn't have to do it. All of the employees there were really cool and everyone was wearing masks. The kids love their new bikes! read more

I had my bike in for a front and rear brake bleed. Turns out I needed a rear derailleur cable. Great, had them put it on. The sales staff was more than gracious and kind. Picked up my bike and went for a ride the next day. The rear derailleur could not sit in the appropriate cog on the cassette. Jumping all over the place. No this is something I feel comfortable installing and adjusting myself but I figured why not let the pros do it while my bike is in the shop. I am writing this review just because I got my bike back shifting worse than before I brought it in. I would think the mechanics would take it on a little test ride to put the drivetrain under load because it will shift different than up on the stand. Hopefully next time this won't be an issue. But thanks again for the brake bleed. -Jon read more

I went in to buy a patch kit for a flat tire and they didn't carry any patches. Another time I went back and waited 20 minutes to find out they weren't working on bikes till next week. Other times, I tried calling them five times and nobody picks up. Another time they changed their hours and I showed up to find they were opening two hours later. Another time I brought my ebike in and they wouldn't work on it since they ruined other e-bikes in the past. Another customer and I were standing in line together and we both had similar experiences over and over. I have been consistently disappointed and will only go there if I'm desperate. read more

First time customer: I took my road bike in for a both a tire install and service tune-up. When I went to ride my bike after the tune-up, I was blown away by how well it rode. It was perfectly tuned and there was no noise coming from the derailleur or gears which another local chain bike store could never seem to fix. The shifting was seamless with no clicking or rattling, and the new brake pads for the disc brakes worked effortlessly and without any noise. I can honestly say that the bike was better than when I got it new three years ago from a local bike store chain. The bike was ready when they said it would be ready, and I received a text telling me it was ready to pick up. My previous experience with local bike shops has never quite measured up to this level of service. The service department was won over a new customer for life with this level of service. read more

We placed a deposit for two bikes, we were told locking-in price. They had no idea when they would receive them, due to supply chain issues (not their fault). We were prepared to wait, and we did for 2.5 months. I called and they had the bikes, but in other colors. When I tried to verify that we would pay $850 for each bike we agreed to, they said that it would now be $1000 per bike, as the manufacturer raised price. I explained we had locked in price with the deposit. Why else would we make a deposit? We canceled the order, and have to start again somewhere else. My recommendation is to avoid them. They seem deceptive. read more

This place has a good reputation. My husband said the man that helped him might have been the owner. He was trying to be helpful and save him some money. When my husband asked for a new inner tube the man offered instead to fix it another way. A cheaper way. That would have been great if it had worked. Unfortunately the bike lost air and we had to make 3 round trips to the bike store and pay for both that fix and the new inner tube. Could have been a more expensive problem and for that I am grateful and also grateful that they tried to save us / the customer some money. For that reason we will keep going. My review is for Nicky Down's Bike fit at Rock N Road Cyclery. Her bike fit for me was so good, that I don't even need to go back for the free followup. After measuring my body and my flexibility, she videotaped me riding my mountain bike on the bike trainer. She suggested buying a very negative bike stem to lower my handlebars more (I'm very short with short legs, so my handlebars were 40-50mm ABOVE my saddle, even with the original stem in the most aggressive position). This fixed my XC ability to climb steep hills (I felt like I was going to fall backwards before this adjustment) without decreasing my descending abilities. My left low back pain has now resolved. In addition, she introduced me to the Shimano Multi-Release SM SH56 cleats which has absolutely changed my riding ability. I was too scared to stop using my Crampon Flat pedals (which are a great choice for flat pedals, by the way) because I've tipped over several times in my old Shimano SM SH51 cleats when the shoe would NOT detach, even on the loosest setting. With the Shimano Multi-release cleats, they detach so easily that when I try to perform a rear wheel lift, I still have to use the "donkey-kick" method because my shoes detach. Personally, I rather my shoes be too loose than too tight. And, if I ever feel that they detach too much, I could always tighten the Shimano pedal screws which are currently at the loosest setting. Now, I get to maximize my climbing ability without the fear of descending technical trails in cleats. THANKS Nicky for a great Bike Fit!!! read more

Since 8 need to drive 60 miles to get it . When i got there . A boy work there help me to find the stem . And he said that stem is not available to sell since it sold online a night before . What he can do only said "sorry man" . Wasting my gas my time my energy and my mood . Stay away from this people read more

Bought a mountain bike here last year and the shop and service has been great. They give you their honest opinion on your bike questions and don't try to unnecessarily upsell you. They've been great about service tuneups and even trying to send a rim out I busted for a warranty claim. They're all pretty knowledgeable about riding which is cool. read more

Really fantastic staff here!! I am always impressed when I just catch excellent service and knowledgeable expert advice. I'm still a newbie to cycling but having visited several shops and locations, I like to think that I can tell who really cares about the fun of this sport. I saw a shopper here range from a grandmother shopping for her grand baby's jogging stroller needing new tires, to a dad and son shopping for their new bikes. Nutrition and hydration options, they all range and this location seemed to have a lot to choose. They were just getting for a tent sale when I saw them rearranging the bikes on display so keep an eye out for those special events here. I love a good shopping find! read more

I've been to a lot of bike stores in my lifetime, and Robert is a top notch bike shop owner. No pretense, no unnecessary upsell, and not trying to push over-your-head bikeology to impress you with his knowledge. I had several issues with the new bike I purchased with them (not their fault) and he went out of his way to make sure everything was straightened out and done promptly. I can't rate the rest of the store, but everyone there seems professional and respectful (Including tall Paul). I saw a customer undeservedly berate a (younger) salesperson, and the salesperson took it in stride and still tried to be helpful regardless of how poorly this customer was acting. It's been tough for bike stores during the pandemic and it's nice to see this shop continue to draw business; likely for all the right reasons - good people and good service. read more
