Pulled up to get a basic wash and the attendant tried conning me in to getting a membership. I told her thank you, not today. She still persisted and gave a dirty look when I turned it down. It's time for Stan Lee to retire. Myself and my family have been repeat Jax customers for years, and honestly up until today I've tolerated the behavior of the Stan Lee character who sits in the attendant box next to the payment stations. Forgive me for being blunt but what does this guy even do? Every time I show up to get a wash which is once a month, the guys berates me on the topic of joining the monthly club. Most people would approach a customer and say something like the following: "Hi would you like to join our membership program?" Or "Hello, can I interest you in ...." But no. I pull in today for the once a month TWENTY DOLLAR WASH BTW, and proceed to pay. As I'm going through the touch screen advertisement, Stan Lee sticks his head out the window and yells, "whydontya join our club". Well sir as I've explained numerous times to you, I'm not interested. I told him that if I really need a wash, I take it to the $5 spot down the street. He responds with "are you serious" , "you take this car to a place like that?" , he scoffs, then goes "you've got to be kidding" in the most disrespectful tone, followed by slamming the window. I swear the guys busting their rear ends in 90 degree heat to dry off cars have more respect than this guy. I will not be returning to this location. Good luck Stan Lee. This location is really bad - maybe they're going may out of business - because they're not upgrading their equipment. Half of the vacuum cleaners don't work even after I pointed this out to Customer Service they gave me some kind of a formal response and never follow up. Also the license plate reader is broken half the time so you have to wait online while unattended manually opens the gate and types in your license plate number. I assume it's going out of business because perhaps they can't afford to upgrade the equipment or maybe they simply just don't care? read more

This facility has been modernized with the best washing equipment. Most recently they have made leaving a tip for the guys easier with a credit card. I have been to lots of facilities around town and this one is easily one of the best for convenience and reliability. read more

Was disappointed when I came here. Their sign says they have detailing but as I found out after I was stuck in line, the only detail you get is if you want to do it yourself with the free vacuums and wipes they give you... it's not a full service location which I didn't realize when I pulled in. On top of that the man who took my order did not scan my Jax loyalty barcode on my car even though I told him I had one, he was not listening to me. Ugh! read more

I have been here a handful of times with my sister (I do not live in town, but this is her go to spot). The vacuums work very well, and the prices are very reasonable! We haven't ever had to wait in lines that were too long, either. I'm familiar with car washes like this where I live, however one difference is that they give you a hand dry at the end (for no extra charge), where as other places I have seen, you have to do that on your own. I'm definitely a fan of this place, and I can see why it is her favorite place to go to! read more

Usually a 5 star experience here. Today I paid for a interior super clean and waited for my car. Planned to work in the customer waiting area that has WiFi. The WiFi doesn't work. Also it was hard to join conference calls as the 3 employees out front kept coming inside and yelling (I.e joking loudly with each other). My vehicle looks amazing though! So I would say if you come here don't plan on waiting leave your car and come back. read more

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. We brought our car here for a normal car wash which caused $1,000 in damage. There must have been rocks or gravel in the car wash because it left noticeable chips in our windshield, bumper and hood which will cost about $1,000 to replace. Of course Jax takes zero responsibility when we went back in person to confront them within an hour because we didn't notice when we were there. Apparently when we noticed the leftover "sap" we thought was left on the windshield (which we found were window chips) we should have investigated on the premises. Thanks Jax. read more

To management : Damita is a horrific employee. I accidentally got in the the full service line. I tried to nudge my way over and she refused to assist me to get in the express line. She Made me turn my car around in a completely crowded parking lot. "Basically you're out of luck you didn't get in the right line". Of course an altercation between the two of us came about. I can't say enough about this franchise. I have using Jax for probably 30 years, first in Royal Oak, then Birmingham and now in W. Bloomfield. Although they may not be the bargain car wash in town, they always do a great job and their staff is contentious and very upbeat. If you wash your car frequently, the Unlimited Package is a deal, as you can wash your car when every it needs it at any of their locations. The reason I am writing now is because I recently had a glitch with my autopay for my Unlimited account. I had changed banks and only remembered to change my payment info a couple of days prior to it charging, which caused all kinds of havoc. Long story short, their staff was calling me, emailing me, taking screen shots for me, everyday until we got it resolved and I can't say enough about them From the manager of my regular store to Rita in their accounting office, they were just awesome, and I can't thank them enough for their efforts on my behalf, except to let others know they deserve your business. read more
