Fist let me say the activity's are a blast of you don't get to do that kind of stuff where y'all live. But the ATV/UTV ride is a huge SCAM. They advertise as a 12 mile off road adventure when in reality you only go maybe 3 miles. No body else noticed but my vehicle had a mile counter on and that's how I noticed. The place is unorganized as f*** the workers are all really nice but as far as management they ain't s***. There horse rides are a blast but my ole lady got on for the first time and her horse was quite aggravated and they wouldn't switch her out so her horse was trying to fight other horses on the trail so she had a horrible first experience. Other than that the horse ride was quite nice. But for the atv do not do it unless you see this and can call them out on there scam and you'll understand. Where to begin..... This was mine and my 11 year old year old daughters first time horse back riding. We told them this and was assured we would be taken very good care of. Maybe 10 minutes into the ride my horses saddle started slipping. I hollered for the tour guide but she was in the front and i was in the back. The saddle slipped off the horse as well as myself. I was in extreme pain the tour guide called for help as i was unable to move. I was never offered medical care on the property, but once i was up from the mud I spent hours in an emergency room. I had a broke shoulder in 4 places and have had surgery. I have not even gotten a im sorry, how are you nothing from Jayell ranch. It has been a nightmare. They are covered by the waiver they have you sign. Please be careful and check your horses saddle before riding. Do not trust the employees. It was my first and last time on a horse. read more

First off, I want to start by saying this was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've experienced at a tourists attraction. As seen in previous comments, they are DISCRIMINTORY against people of COLOR. They treated me and my friends as if we we're common thugs. The two tour guides at the ATV attraction were very unpleasant, they didn't introduce themselves in a friendly manner, and they didn't give us their names. They weren't thorough with their instructions, and in less than 5 minutes of me riding I was told to get off due to the the fact that i was stuck in the mud and couldn't get out. While inquiring about a refund I felt threatened so I called the police. One of the tour guides was welding a blade similar to a meat cleaver. With that being said, I called the manager Amber the next day to dispute what happened. She simply stated that we should've followed instructions and that he would've never pulled out a blade if we didnt try to get them arrested. In all honesty, do not go there if you want horrible customer service and to be discriminated against. I would have paid more at another facility to enjoy the rest of my time in Tennessee. My 12 year old daughter Mya and I visited Jayell Ranch August 4, 2018 to ride ATVs. Of course she was nervous but we watched the video online and I assured her that a reputable company would never put its customers in danger. It seems backward now but their dinky helmets, solid 700lb ATV, and the simple fact that they allow 12 year old 93lb girls drive gave me even more confidence that she'd have no problem. Pops (our guide) said we'd go over bumps and hills and gravel but he wouldn't lead us through anything we couldn't handle. Long story short, I'm still trying to cope with the fact that they put my daughter's life in danger and I'm still trying to regain her trust. Here are the details which I hope you care to read: Jayell Ranch's negligence started when Pops told us we wouldn't need to wear the heavy-duty helmets b/c it was too hot that day. He failed to tell Mya to use both brakes or you'll risk tipping forward when going down a hill. They're also not heeding the warning on the ATV that says "NEVER OPERATE THIS ATV IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 16" (which I failed to notice until the trip was over). The trail got progressively more challenging with steeper inclines and declines that weave around trees. We went across a rotted bridge with no railings and a 7 foot drop on both sides. Mya was bounced around the bumpy terrain going around a tree at a 30 degree downward angle until a bump finally jacked the handle bars to one side. She simply didn't have the strength to keep it straight and the ATV tipped forward on two wheels. She somehow managed to jump off before being squashed by the damn thing! Pops jumped off his ATV with a look of terror and gave her a hug as she sobbed. He then went on to explain how this is the easiest trail but that people fall off all the time, even down that 7 foot drop by the bridge! They don't put that on the website! Pops wouldn't allow us to walk back so Mya rode with me which was even more dangerous than riding alone considering I couldn't control which way she leaned! There was no manager or owner on site to talk with and I've called three times to request a refund. They promise to call back each time but never do. Not to sound dramatic but Mya and I are both emotionally scarred from the event. If Mya were physically hurt I'd sue the hell out of them but all I can do is offer this warning. They are negligent and greedy. Don't take your kids there. read more

We came to Jayell for horseback riding and zip lining. Our daughter zip lined into a tree, due to a lack of knowledge by staff members. After the incident the staff laughed and then yelled at each other in front of our group. Waited 5 hours to horseback ride, where we were insulted by some of the staff and inappropriate comments were made to our 16 year old daughter by a male staff member. When she ignored him, he yelled "Are you deaf?". The horses were in poor condition, over worked and stables were filthy. The trail was unsafe, extremely muddy up and down hills. Our horse guide was the only member of the staff whom we encountered with any manners. However, the majority of the staff were extremely unprofessional and the poor horses are not well cared for. The trail is extremely rutted and muddy, and the horses struggled through the majority of the ride. My horse was so exhausted his knees kept buckling and he nearly fell down three times due to the dangerous conditions of the trail. The horse in front of me also nearly fell, and my group ended up feeling awful the entire ride for putting the horses through that experience. At $30 a ride and so many people in line we had to wait two hours to get on a horse, the ranch can certainly afford to maintain its trails for the safety and security of both the horses and their riders. Until they do so, I would not recommend riding with them. read more

If you wanna ride atv's find somewhere else to go. Or plan on waiting 4-5 hours AT LEAST just to get on one. NO rhyme or reason with anything they do. Watched a party of 22 come in and sign up for atv rides that had not even paid yet. Walked up to put their names on the list and they still let them go. Arrived at 8:45am to get in line. Currently 1:45pm and still not on one. ATVs just sitting here for 15-20 min with no one being put on them while we all Sit here to wait. It's crazy!!!!!! I will say if you EVER get on them it is a fun ride. But be prepared to get ticked a million times before you make it that far. NOT AN ORGANIZED business AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially for the money that you are giving them! Go somewhere else. Can't be worse. And you will see NO sanitizing of anything being done!!!! Horrible customer service. David wasn't running the sign in sheet most of the time and kept running off. That's how people that had NOT even paid signed theirselves in on the books. Just sitting on the counter for anyone to screw with. And every single time they were going out of order they had excuses. Got a refund And the staff was rude and could care less about our experience TWICE. Just an "ole well" it is what it is. Wasted our entire last day on these people. Save your money. This place was awesome!!! My boyfriend and I went to TN during the 4th and Jayrel Ranch was one of our first stops for fun. We called ahead and spoke to a very friendly gentleman who encouraged us to come by for an ATV ride. We got there and the place was packed; this didn't stop them from giving us great service. We purchased two combo packs with horseback riding and an ATV tour (total $89 each). I was super scared to ride a horse, but the people there really eased my fears and stood by to talk with me while everyone else was saddling their horses. Our tour guide was Travis; he was really great and stopped periodically to check on everyone in line during the hour ride. At one point my horse got tired and hungry so he decided to go off the path; Travis was great about getting him to settle down and leading him back to where everyone else was (I on the other had was panicking like crazy). Once the horse ride was complete we went to do an ATV tour for another hour. Our guide for this portion was Buck and he was great as well. This tour is so much fun; the only issue you might have is if someone in front of you wants to go slow (you much stay in line during the tour and are not allowed to pass people). We had a couple in front of us and they were afraid to go fast, which at times was frustrating because you are on and ATV for a thrill ride. At one point on the tour the guide takes you to a place where you can go around a dirt track and do laps. This was really fun because you get to go super fast as long as you don't do tricks. Beware of wearing any clothes that you don't want ruined for the day. We were covered in dirt and sweaty after riding the ATV. Overall this was an awesome 3-4 hours of fun and something we will definitely do again when we return to TN. Highly recommend this place and encourage anyone to give it a try!!! read more

I am writing this for the safety of anyone traveling and looking for a horse riding trip for anyone under the age of 18....and even that is questionable. This trip is NOT for anyone under the age of 18. I am a registered nurse...advanced practice Nurse Practitioner. I cannot emphasize this enough, no one should ride these horses for their safety, We were on a trip at 7 pm with one guide and a group of 15 people. A mix of children and adults. We had one leader in the front. That was it, no leader to in the back and no instruction. About 5 minutes into the trip a horse threw a gentlemen from his horse and my children in addition to the entire group witnessed it. We immediately requested to get off our horses and the leader agreed and quickly helped myself and my children off. It was the scariest moments of my life. My children will NEVER get on another horse I am sure and that is sad. Normally, I would NEVER give feedback about a business like this, but this is about the safety of those traveling in the pigeon forge area. Had my 7 year old been thrown off her horse she could have been paralyzed or killed. We requested a refund and they denied it. Just to be clear, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and we have benn refunded in FULL so I am not writing this for a refund but for the safety of any future riders and travelers. Despite some negative reviews of staff being racist (6 different staff members didn't act racist at all, very friendly)we arrived before 11am w my family. We were told after we paid for the package (3 zip lines and 1 hr horseback x4=$220 + cd of photos $35) that the wait for the horseback riding would take an hour and 30min for zip lining, wished they had said that first. So we had the kids play in the bouncy house and their playground. Adam encouraged my 4.5yr old daughter very sweetly to zip alone, she rode with me the 1st line but afterwards did it all on her own....the horse trail was a very boring hour long. The horses are well trained to just ride alone. However the kids horses were still not trained well n they would go off to eat off the path and the staff is all the way in the front just telling the kids to pull them away, it took a lot for him to finally help....I was glad not to let my 4.5yr old ride alone as the zip line guy suggested to say she was 5. read more

Called to see if reservations were needed and was told no, our tours leave every 15 minutes. LIE. We were told it takes two and 1/2 hours for all three events. LIE. Arrived before noon, left after 7:00. We were there over an hour and a half before they took the first set of zip liners. We were told to get a number at each event. If we are doing another then when we come back they will put us at the top of the list for the next group going out. LIE. We waited two hours to do the first thing and were called for all three at the same time. So we chose the ATV to start. Came back to the zip line and was put at the bottom of the list. Even though they were just starting to harness a group to go out. So we went to tell the horseback event to tell them we were back. Now the sweet blond (wish I could remember her name) had just called a full group up. She did put us at the top of the list for the next group. Still took almost an hour for that next group to get called. Our horseback guide was Adam. After we mounted, and it took a while to mount everyone, my youngest changed her mind and wanted off. The young lady helped calm her and sent a walker to help her get comfortable and confident. That was great. Well just after we got started a young girls horse for some reason decided to take a full force run back to the stables. Not so bad, I understand that horses sometimes do this. The issue was Adams respond and behavior after that. One family and my daughters were terrified after that. Blonde did her best to call and help my baby. She stayed with us the rest of the ride, and finally got her back on her horse. She walked with mine and another terrified child until Adam force her to get on the horse and lead while he walked by the girls. Well not only did he not do that he thought it ok to do jokes In very bad taste after what happened. About the best horse they have died and where it was buried. About the horses that fight each other. About other incidents that have happened. Also joking about incidents that never happened. You know stuff that terrified that family and my daughter more. He went on about himself, his sociology degree, his age, and constant babble. Finally by the time we get back it was almost 4:00. The girl in the office (very nice) had come to help her get the zip liners get organized. She did put me at the top of the list. I mean I was number 9 and they were on number 20 by this time. However they should have been on number 40 by this time at least. Took almost two hours to put the gear on 21 ppl. Sometimes it was twI doing it and sometimes it was one. Mind you there were 5 ppl up there total, but only 1 or 2 doing anything. That does not include the girl from the office trying to make sure everyone got on. So who decided to do that zip line tour but Adam. While they are harnessing he comes over and starts bitching about having to do the horse tours. Talking about how horrible the customers were. Constantly having to say stop letting the horse eat, pull up on the reigns, let loose the reigns, and on and on. Then while guiding zip lines again had to hear all about his life. One young man went and Adam said what you mad abot bro. I took sociology in college I can read ppl. Then proceeded to let his mom know he was mad about something. That was was a real piece of work. Apparently they cannot curse so he kept spelling out the curse words he wanted to use. This was the very last day of our vacation and they completely ruined it. Every person I spoke with was angry, and said they were told the same lies. I highly recommend you go any place but this. AWEFUL AWEFUL AWEFUL! read more

Was kind of hesitant to go here from the appearance from the road. Decided to give it a try because they accommodate larger adults. So happy we gave it a chance. They paired the kids with appropriate mannered horses. My 5 year old had complete control over his horse and going up and down a mountain in the mud that was amazing. This was the first time for all four of us and we had a blast. Travis was a wonderful guide who made sure all the kids were taken care of first and always made sure we were all together, not mention a great sense of humor. Kids begged to go back. Our party was a group of 12 adults and 2 children, 1 which was 5 yrs. old and 1 that was 2 yrs. old. The girl at the sign-in desk said the 5 yr. old couldn't double ride because she was too tall and that it would be unsafe due to the size of the saddles and the size of the adult rider. We were really nervous since no one in our party had been on a horse in 10+ years.... let alone children who have never been on a horse in their life. They provided a perfect sized horse (not small, not big, just perfect "middle" size). Toria (sp?) was our guide and she put the 5 yr. old directly behind her lead horse. The rest of us all saddled up and lined up for the ride. Despite being a slow walk, it was a really good trail - both open spaces where the horses went a little faster, and closed / forest spaces that were more difficult to navigate. Everyone had a great time and Toria even let the 5 yr. old (which was my daughter) lead the pack when we were in open spaces. Toria did great and made sure everyone was safe and progressing on the ride. The horses were great and all of them behaved very well. I was the only double rider with me and my 2 yr. old son - our horse, named Haus, was really good the entire ride. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend this place and will return in future trips. We chose Jayell for the ATV tour! We had an awesome time. We only had to wait a few minutes before our tour left. Only one person in our group had ever ridden an ATV so the guide was great at explaining how to operate the ATV and definitely put safety first. We all did great and had a blast. We went on multiple trails with the last one being the most challenging and definitely the most fun! All the staff was very nice and helpful. Went horseback riding in early August at Jayell. We had called multiple times to make sure we should just show up without reservation and each time they said to just show up. So we showed up and paid for our horseback riding. After that we went over to the stable area to get a number for our group. We had a little one with special needs so we requested a horse that could be on a lead. We were called after a little bit of a wait, and placed with another party of 4. So we had eight on our ride. I like that they put you on a platform to mount your horse, this made getting onto/off your horse very easy. About mid-way through our ride, one of the horses ran with a pre-teen girl on it. The guide changed the riders and he also took our little one with special needs off the lead line. The whole ride the guide seemed very agitated and the horses seemed to feel the same way. We all felt very tense and uneasy and just couldn't wait to be done. It seems that Jayell ranch is understaffed and I wouldn't recommend spending time or money here. read more

We were in the area to visit Dollywood, but we wanted to find something else to do (outside of Dolly's parks) so we started to look around. We stumbled across Jayell Ranch and we were are thrilled that we did. This attraction is less than 1 mile from Dollywood's Dreammore Resort and it is well priced. They have many things to do at Jayell Ranch - zipline tours, ATV rides, horseback riding, off road go-carts, and a few farm animals (I assume for those few individuals who don't or cant' participate in those activities, but everyone else in their party is). The facility is quaint, rustic, and quintessentially Appalachian - the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. You can purchase a ticket to each activity individually OR they offer packages where certain activities are lumped together at a discounted rate. We only went horseback riding, which probably took about 1 hour or so. The cost of horseback riding is $29 per person, but if you fill out their disclaimer online before you arrive, you can get a $5 discount on price. This tour is very much designed for amateurs, there is no galloping, running, or obstacles - it is a leisurely "stroll" through some open fields and mountain forests. Plus the horses pretty much do what they're supposed to without human intervention. They have a large number of horses is varying sizes (the horse they pick depends on the rider's size). Also, they take some pictures of you as you "saddle up" and start off on the venture - DISCLAIMER: they said that they could email me the pictures, but I would have to purchase them first, meaning that I couldn't just preview them. After waiting for almost 1.5 hours past the 30 min wait we were told we would have we finally got on the trail. The guide we had wasn't interested in watching what was going on as much as he was getting it over with. I understand it's busy and your dealing with a lot of inexperienced riders but just walking in front and letting everyone separate isn't the smartest thing. One guy's horse just stopped when ever it wanted. Another girls horse just decided it wanted to take shortcuts off trails. And then when the group split in half two or three horses decided to make a mad dash to catch up frightening everyone. One poor girl had her horse running like it was in the derby. Poor thing was screaming and crying. The guide proceeded to tell us the horses know the day is almost over so they are in a hurry. It almost happened a second time before I spoke I and asked the guy to slow down that a few people were ready to quit and walk back. The girls that worked there were super friendly and good with the horses. The guys acted like they just wanted to push everyone out. I'm sure dealing with newbie riders can be frustrating. We wanted a day, without kids, to try something fun for the 4th of July. We started with a horseback ride. The trails were shaded at times, lots of climbing up and down. There were some muddy areas but the horses managed without a problem. The guide was good with making sure the group stayed together. Next we tried the zip lines. There was a long wait. They have a small area for purchasing food a. Drinks. Also, areas for swings, cornhole, a single mini zip line for kids and picnic tables to relax on while you wait. The bathrooms were better than expected, but could use more accessible access. The website advertises the facility is handicapped accessible, but the gravel rocks would make it difficult for manual wheelchairs, most power wheelchairs would not get around due to the steep areas of the park. They have a photographer that will take pictures for purchase. We spent about 5 hours there and only got through 2 activities. We had never tried the Ziplines before so I'm not sure how to rate them. It was fun, guides were helpful. The walk between some of the towers were difficult (steep and long walks) for some in the group. The day was good enough for us to come back with the kids to try out their ATVs and UTVs. read more

Went horseback riding. Great experience for the whole family! Good bang for the buck!

We had seen a coupon in one of the local attraction books for $5 off ATV rides. That was all we had set out to do, but when we pulled up we soon realized that we were drawn to the horses and zip lines as well. So we purchased a package deal for all three activities. We had a blast for the next four hours. We rode the four-wheelers first and Nicolas was our guide. He was really nice and we could have a followed him around for hours. Then, on to the ziplines. There were several guys there that helped us get harnassed up and answered all of our questions. One guy called himself "skittle". He was a ball of energy and really helped us to relax. We will definitely try ziplining again after this great experience. Then, we finished up with horseback riding with our guide, Dakota. He was very laid back but knew exactly when to intervene if any of the horses were getting side tracked. We can't thank Jayell Ranch enough for an awesome experience. It was by far our most favorite day on our TN trip! read more

We searched around for a ranch to take our large group(15), read lots of reviews for each. Some good some bad. We arrived right at 9am, had waivers filled out night before. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we had little kids and adults and every age in between. Getting on the horses they made us all relax and gave tips and great instruction. Very nice walk through trails. It had been raining for 3 days straight, so the trails were extremely muddy, but these horses know how to get around out there. We were able to be close to first group to go out for trail ride and zip lines, so we had very little wait times. The scenery is great, the ranch style set up is great while your waiting. Nice fire pit constantly going and swings to relax in. Lots of barn animals to see. Rustic bathrooms and large sink/water tub to clean all he mud off. I'd recommend coming first thing in morning for sure. Overall it was a great time at Jayell!! read more

Most unorganized and chaotic horseback ride I've ever experienced. Where do I begin? It took over 30 minutes to get 8 people on a horse because the workers were unorganized and all over the place. Our guide was a minor who did NOT have good social skills. Throughout our tour, he would stop our entire group to ask us what our first car was and what specs said car had, what car we have now, what our favorite drink is, favorite snack, etc. Each question was another stop, in the sun. My horse just wanted to finish the ride, I just wanted to finish the ride, and the guide just wanted to stop and talk about the most random things. Since we only had one guide, the people in the back couldn't hear him so he would just keep yelling the same question until they reaponded. It was the most annoying and non-relaxing experience ever. Our 1 hour ride turned into an hour and a half because he kept stopping to talk. I feel like I sat on the horse, while standing still, more than I actually got to truly ride the horse. Maybe they don't truly have an hour long trail, so they make them stop to talk so you're on the trail longer. Who knows. Besides the horrible guide, the scenery is not what you would expect for the area. Most of the trail was a dirt path, in the middle of a hot open field. At some points, we were beside the road or beside someones home. There was literally ONE opening where you could see the mountains off in the distance. I usually find horseback riding so relaxing, but i couldnt get back to my car fast enough at this place. read more

We are on our honeymoon and definitely wanted to do some ATVing and horse back riding. The horse ride wasn't very long but they are very nice and it is a beautiful ride! The price is also the best around. We then did the ATVs and I rode with my husband. It was just us and our guide and instead of going the 7mph we're supposed to we did whatever we wanted, went extra long and got covered in mud. They're very nice and very lenient. They work for tips which isn't advertised on the website, but we didn't have a problem after we had such a blast. We want to go back before we go home! read more

Our zip lining experience overall was good. But don't even get me started on the Horse back riding. We waited almost 3 hours in the blazing heat. After waiting we asked the worker when we would be next and the guy told us 20-25 minutes. We then patiently waited for another 30 minutes in the heat only to be told to wait another 45 minutes. At this point we complained to the front desk and they asked us what number we were. So apparently this guy was supposed to give us a number which we never got. So naturally we left and got our money back. Also not to mention the guy who put our zip lining gear seemed like he was picked up out of the woods as he was swearing in front of a bunch of little kids and acted nothing of it read more

While the ride was gorgeous the staff was disorganized and unprofessional. Someone in our group was bit by a horse and the guide did nothing to help her, even after she asked to get off her horse. Two horses on the ride did not get along and despite asking for help, the guide did nothing. read more

First off, getting people on the horses seemed very disorganized. One man took the height, weight and age of the rider into consideration while other instructors put people on horses without those factors, which can effect the safety of the rider. As someone who works at a summer camp barn with lots of instruction given to riders on safety and how to ride the horse, there was very brier instruction given to new riders. The horses were not well groomed and caked in mud with their saddles constantly on, which can lead to irritated horses especially in heat. There were 11 riders for one guide and when my friend on the ride was bitten by one of the other horses and said she wanted to get off the horse, the guide did nothing to comfort her or make her feel safe. Several requests for a guide's attention to help control two horses that were not getting along were ignored. After the ride when the rider dismounted the horses were allowed to roam free down the aisle of the barn which was also not safe in case of a horse getting spooked and running straight for riders waiting for a turn. Overall very unprofessional, not attentive and disorganized. read more

I'm sorry Jayell Ranch, but our experience was not a good one ! No where to park, then waited in line for 1 hour in the hot sun to get tickets ( only one employee signing everyone up in a room the size of my bathroom, or a walk in closet ) . We were then told to go "get a number" from each station, because there are no "ride" times.... we waited another hour to an hour and a half for our horse ride that only lasted 30 minutes, although the ride is sold as an hour long ride ( I thought the ride was very boring and not really very much to look at. ) . We exited our horses hoping to get right onto the ziplines, only to be told that we would have to wait another hour to and hour and a half ... I was done, we got a refund and left. to much wait time, not very organized at all . read more

Had one little bad experience with one of the horses name lady she decided she wanted to eat while was was on the trail and threw my daughter off. thank god she didn't get hurt that bad but wasn't the best experience for her. It was about 10 horse and only one person leading. Also another horse decided to go on her owe trail on the cuff. Just think it was to many horses of for just one one lead person. But everything was safely controlled. But Zip lining was amazing read more

Super disappointing. I read the reviews online, that's why I chose this place- was my first time and I was so excited! To start, I was placed on a horse and his legs kept giving out, I really had a bad feeling from the start. I didn't think my horse would make it, a little scary. I tried to say something to the guide but he was SO far ahead that if you were behind, they wouldn't know if something happened to you. I kept saying "wait for us" but he never did. There SHOULD ALWAYS be 2 guides, one in front and one in back. Also, the person guiding us wasn't even supposed to be come to find out, was he even trained in that area? I don't know. Lastly, it ended with us all getting off our horses and literally ruining for our lives, some of us crying because the horses started freaking out then the rest started freaking out. One lady was THROWN off her horse and the ambulance came. After we were taken off our horses, one then started acting up and we literally ran the opposite way because it was no telling what was going to happen with that horse! It was a circus and it was literally like something in a movie. There were little kids out there, never were we offered our money back. But you can bet I went up there and got mine back. I'm sure this is a rare thing but let me tell you something, it was a terrifying experience. Maybe teach people what to do in those situations, have 2 guides when you're going to have a 15 plus group which is too many to me, and make sure they are trained (our guide didn't seem to be as he stated in the beginning) and maybe don't wear the horses out! I felt bad for mine- he didn't seem in the best condition (patches). Won't be returning, heck I don't know if I'll ride a horse again after there. Very inexperienced staff, lady ended up in the hospital and I was separated from my boyfriend the whole time- the guide wouldn't get us back together or help. We also passed a field where they say "pull VERY HARD if horses try to eat the grass" ummm ok? Maybe an inexperienced rider doesn't want to feel that type of pressure- how about get a new route. By the way, that's the whole reason the horse acted out and caused a terrifying experience for us. Sad and scary for who was all in that group! I hope the lady was ok!! I hope the kids were ok. The place seemed nice, I'm not trying to be unreasonable, just a very scary situation. Nobody seemed to be apologetic. They said "sorry about that" but that's it. Good luck! read more

We did the Zip lines and horse back riding. This is a family operation and it shows. The guys running the Zip lines were very therough and the equipment was well maintained. We all had a great time! Sean and Susan care for all the houses as their own and not just as a business. We all went on a trail ride and afterward, Sean offered to let me ride one of his own horses. I sent the wife out with our oldest son and I stayed behind to stay with our youger boy who wasn't feeling so well. Their 2nd ride was as great as our 1st one and the horses were all very well mannered even for our youngest who had never been on a horse for a real ride. They have ATVs and side by sides which we did not do but watched as the same attention to detail was paid to the equipment and explaining the safety rules no people that were obviously very green.
